Two Thousand Forty-Four. The world of games changed long ago.
"Ascension" has become one of the most popular VRMMO games. It is a huge world divided into a hundred Floors, with each Floor a boundless location with its own countries, tribes, and millions of players.

This book delved even deeper into the mystery and now we get to interact with players from other servers. I love that Raven is not so overpowered that he can waltz through everything, well at least without a bunch of luck. Good use of skills and interesting development mechanics leave you excited to see where the story goes next. This is a builder book and expect the next book will show all the things this is building towards, or maybe Raven could just make some more enemies. Could go either way. Warning: Explicit language.
No longer does insane plot armour guide our MC. Mature approach suits Will with several setbacks and some much needed world building this story is definitely moving places in the last 2-3 books. Looking forward to reading the next in the series.
