Stolen by the Sinner

Rate this book
Some lost things are meant to stay hidden. Some stolen things never fight to be returned.

Holland Wanger has spent her life under the glare of flashing cameras—the daughter of Hollywood royalty, a pretty pawn in a world where nothing is real. Her life is predictable, suffocating, and safe until one instance shatters everything.
Danill Belsky is a man who takes what he wants. When he’s offered a job with a price too tempting to refuse, he doesn’t hesitate. The target? A mysterious beauty with cascading blonde hair and piercing blue eyes—a living temptation he simply cannot ignore.
In a dark club, he meets her under the guise of fate, and something shifts. She isn’t just another job. She’s a challenge. A temptation. A prize he suddenly doesn’t want to let walk away.
She should run. She should fight. Instead, she looks at him like she’s waiting to be claimed.
Because maybe she’s been searching for ruin all along.
After all, can you really steal something that’s already yours?

This was a great Bratva read. I loved just how bossy and cold the hero was. No pretending to be anything else. Holland definitely didn’t mind being “stolen” by this Russian sinner 😈

A dash of action and plenty of heat made this a fun, quick read.

I received an arc of this book

Wow! This book was smoking hot and was suspenseful, full of hot alpha men! Loved the character they drew you right in, what a page turner.

Holland was well known in her circle of friends, popular to draw the attention of reporters and a bit of a party girl in life floundering a bit until one sexy mysterious man enters life and turns her life upside down.
We loved her deep down, she had a heart of gold she might be spoiled but, she was also and woman who had been on her own since she was 15 years old.

Danill was one hot alpha that was dangerous, protective and possessive and had a quick temper but, that temper only seemed to be set off by his misbehaving woman otherwise he is known to be cool calm and levelheaded as his job demanded it.

Talk about burning up the sheets, this couple had awesome chemistry which let to tons of hot and sexy scenes. You could say that Dahill swept Holland off her feet, little did she know she was already his.

Non-stop suspense throughout the entire story, and we though the characters we're amazing. Tons of fan worth moments! This series is off to a great start, we are already loving it.

As always, Ms. Faiman made us fall in love with her characters and created yet, another page turner that goes into the keeper pile to be read over and over again.

Intrigued to see where this series goes! While I’m a huge Hayley Faiman fan, this is the first time I’ve read her bratva books, and I wasn’t disappointed. Holland is a typical Hollywood brat, spoiled with no ambitions or job, rather living off of her father’s money. All of that changes when she meets Danill, who ends up being a hitman hired to kill her father due to his many debts he is unable to repay and furthermore, Holland is also his prize for completing the job. This book was a combination of secrets and insta-love, and while we see Holland gain true feelings extremely quickly for Danill, we also see her somewhat passively handle finding out what he does for a career in combination of what he did to her father. I wish that we would’ve gained more detail on Holland’s best friend Nate, as well as what happened to their friend Claudia, because that was more of a shock to me and I would’ve loved to see that part developed more into the storyline. Overall, I was a fan and I will definitely be reading the next installment in this series!

How can you steal what comes willingly? This story starts with a rush and you are thrown right into this new world that Faiman has created with the Russian Torpedo series. Danill is intense to start with and seeing how he melts for Holland and only her is just wow. The way these two end up connected is crazy and wild. How it all plays out in the long run between these two is just mind blowing. This is one of those stories of when you know, you know and there is zero beating around the bush playing cat and mouse. Those intense feelings are present right out the gate for both of them. They play off each other so perfectly as well. I am looking forward to what is to come within this series and I have hopes for who may be a couple at some point!

Good start to series. Danill and Holland had a hot, steamy and very fast pace relationship. He wanted her as the prize for killing her father and he took her! But then you can’t really steal someone who wants to be stolen, and Holland for sure did.
I wasn’t surprised by Nate’s fate, BUT I was definitely surprised by Claudia’s! Which made me curious about why/how she died. I also would’ve liked to learn more about Danill. I was disappointed that no background info was given about him.
Eriks and Grisha were great side characters and I liked seeing seem with Holland when Danill was in jail. Especially Grisha. I’m kinda excited for his story next.

A great start to a new series.
An addicting story I couldn't put it down. I was immediately hooked!
I couldn't get enough of Darill and his fierce protection and love of Holland.
This couple was HOT!
BUT I expect nothing less from a Hayley Faiman book.
Can't wait for more!

Turns out you can't steal something that wants to be stolen—or, atleast, that's the female protagonist's opinion. I haven't read a book about a domineering male protagonist so all the talk about 'breeding' and 'claiming' was quite unsettling. There's a nasty web of lies surrounding how the female protagonist comes into the male protagonist's hands (he is hired to kill her father and goes through with the murder).

The male protagonist is an anti-hero through and through—murderer, liar, and member of the Bratva(the Russian equivalent of the Italian Mafia). As a matter of fact, he's what they call a 'Torpedo' because his work involves enforcing the law(???) Ofcourse, she's unaware of his occupation for the better half of the book and when she eventually finds out (in a rather public way and on her wedding no less), she isn't bothered because she has already come to terms with the fact that the man she fell for isn't exactly a pastor.

I should mention that this book is quite steamy. On a scale of 0–10, this hovers somewhere around 7 and 10. There are 3–4 explicit sex scenes, the language is vulgar, and inasmuch as the author doesn't go into it in full detail, some murders are included in the book.

Check the content warnings before reading.

Really not stolen

You really can't steal something that wants to be yours. I only gave it a three star rating because we get a lot of description and insight into things that we really don't need.

We should of had more information about Danill, yes he was from Russia but.... What else. We find out he was abandoned when he was younger. However how can he get into America as a child with no family?

We also don't get any information about Claudia. Why did she have to die? For Danill being a hit man we don't get any description about Mate's death, just he's dead. Boring.

Less sex in the book that was repetitive and more details where needed, as well as less when not could have been a great book!

Holland and Danill

This was a bit of a miss for me.
Holland is a celebrity based solely on her father's career, she doesn't work, doesn't seem to do much of anything.
Danill is a Bratva Hitman and is offered Holland as part of the payment. He really doesn't have to take her she goes willingly.
Whilst I tried to like these 2 as a couple they really didn't come off as that believable.

What a whirlwind of unpredictability. I hated the "plot". However, the smut was immaculate. I only gave it three stars because of the migraine I have now after reading that. Feminism left my soul as I read that.

And this lady is on fire... And I'm so happy about it.
Hayley Faiman is a well versatile author. She writes my favorite genre and one of them is Mafia.
I freaking love Mafia books and I can't get enough.
Her writing is raw and wild, intense, suspenseful, and hot as hell.
Stolen by the Sinner is her latest release and it's the first book from the Russian Torpedo series.
And oh boy...
This new book explores the lives of Holland and Danill.
Holland is not foreign to the spotlight. Being the daughter of a famous actor, she's used to it, but she hates it dearly.
She's a fraud of changes and one event turned her life upside down.
Danill is a member of the mafia. He's on a mission, and the payment for that job is a leggy bond...
OMG... I'm in love.
This book was spectacular and I couldn't stop reading it.
Superb plot, very well written, super dark, and engaging.
Each chapter was even more addictive than the latest and guys... I was almost insane.
There were parts of the book that I wanted to slap someone silly, jeez, bossy much?
But then there were others that I wanted to help them and promise better days.
The story progressed in a way that it was impossible to stop reading because the need to know more was insane.
These characters worked perfectly with each other and you can see the Alfa... He's so bossy.
And the hot stuff... Oh boy, the hot stuff... Just go see for yourself.
I'm sad because this book ended, but I'm happy thinking about the next books from this series.
Amazing book Hayley. You nailed it, once again.
Please tell me that the next book is about Grisha?
I want that story bad...  I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I didn't realize I needed this book until I actually started reading it. I didn't have a book hang over, but nothing was holding my attention. I tried to start new books, but that didn't work. I tried to reread my favorites, but they didn't hold my attention. Literally, nothing was working. When I first started this book, I had a bad feeling it was going to be the same. However, it was like my brain just clicked and shifted into reading mode. I could then get lost in the story.

Anytime I see Hayley's name, I am hoping the story is going to have crazy shenanigans. I want the hero to make horrible mistakes. I want him to fall flat on his face, but figure out where he went wrong, and try again. In turn, I want the heroine to make him work for her forgiveness. That's not this story, but it's pretty close.

Quick warning: If you don't like cavemen, this book isn't for you. Not a literal caveman, but someone who likes things done their way with no rhyme or reason why. I was all for it, but I know it's not everyone's cup of tea. Danill is a Bratva Torpedo. A mercenary for the right price, he takes a contract that's high risk but high reward. The question is: Can you really steal someone that wants you to take them?

The only thing that I felt was off about this book was that I can't figure out who might be next. There's several secondary characters that are introduced, but their stories are only in relation to the main characters. There's no side plots that are introduced. It's not a bad thing, but I thought it was unusual. I am curious, but I really feel like this could have been a standalone instead of building a whole a new world.

For me this was a thrilling, exciting, Russian Mafia read. The author gave us an intriguing storyline that was just what this reader needed and I loved the characters. Danill is a Russian Torpedo meaning he’s a paid assassin. He’s one of the best and gets paid well for his services. But when he’s hired to kill a public figure, a man that will be missed if he suddenly disappears, Danill wants more than just money. So when he’s made an offer he can’t refuse, the mark’s daughter, Danill sets out to do what he does best because he wants the girl for his own. But will the blonde knockout, Holland, become his when she finds out what he does for a living and what he's done to her father? As for Holland, she’s never been around a domineering man like Danill, all she’s known is the boring spoiled life with her father. So how does she get this charismatic man to make her his for keeps?

Their connection is wild but oh what I ride. I highly recommend Stolen by the Sinner and this reader can’t wait for book 2 in the Russian Torpedo Series.

I absolutely LOVE mafia/Bratva romance like you wouldn't believe, but I do get tired of the heroines getting such a raw deal at first. That being said, Stolen by the Sinner isn't like that whatsoever. Yeah, Danill wasn't upfront with her when he started seeing her, and yeah, Holland was a bit naive but they were drawn to each other from the jump, and man the sexy time were HOT HOT HOT! There are twists to get the heart rate up & the f-bombs dropping, but it was more focused on the romance of Danill & Holland. I loved the fact that when Danill kept saying he stole her, and she disagreed since she went willingly LOL! I have to say that I'm super excited for this new series, and while I do absolutely love the dangerous alphas that I warm up to, there's something to be said for falling for our dangerous hero from the beginning, so BRAVO Hayley Faiman! YOU ROCK AND I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

A bratva love story.

Danill is a hitman who been hired to kill Holland father. He's taking a big risk because of how public a figure Holland father is, so he wants something else besides money. That's where Holland comes in, he's his prize. Holland is a party girl who been living on her own since she was fifteen but is still dependent on her father's money. She meets Danill at the club and sparks fly you could say. Insta attraction. He gets the job done, moves Holland in with him, and marries her. Holland is ignorant of what he, until the day of her wedding, when Danill is arrested.
Recommend: Yes, if you're into Mafia love story. For me, it was a quick short read. I'm a lover of Mafia romance but would have love it, it had more action. Great story and a happy HEA.

This book is everything that you read the mafia genre for it has all the elements that make for a great story. Danill is a Torpedo for the Russian Bratva he's hired to kill Holland's father who is a famous actor. As a reward for handling this kill his bosses tell him he can have Holland the man's daughter as a reward. Holland is a beautiful young party girl who has been taking care of herself since she's 15. Danill sets it up for them to meet by accident at a club that he knew she would be at and the sparks fly between them and he moves fast to get Holland to move in with him. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this entertaining Bratva story to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this book.

Wow…what a heck of a start to a new series. I was pulled in right from the beginning. I was on the edge of my seat devouring the pages.

Danill, where to start with this man. When he knows what he wants nothing will get in his way to have it. He was so intense and when he takes on a new contract watch out.

Holland has been very independent since she was fifteen. When she meets Danill, what she thinks was a chance meeting is so much more. What will happen when she learns the truth?

There is sooo much more to this great read. I don’t want to give anything away. The author does a great job with her writing and you can’t get enough of these two. I can’t wait to read more from this series. I highly recommend you 1-click and get started today.

Holland doesn’t really know what’s going on in her world but has a submissive nature and Danill knows what he wants and goes after it.. from the start there is a motive with Hollands father a deceiving man who is greedy but has nothing of value that he even offers his daughter. Bratva doesn’t work like that even though they gladly will take a gift in this case Danill takes his. This book sets the tone for the rest of the series and it’s going to be a good one. Lots of actions from taking out hits, to getting arrested, marriage, love, deceit and all that gives you a great story! There are some curve balls that you don’t expect but they make this book stand out and feel like your watching a movie instead of reading a book! Can’t wait for the next one!!

5 Stars!

Hayley Faiman has a brand new book out and a brand new mafia series and y'all, it was all hands on deck with this beauty. I have a love/hate relationship with most of Hayley's men (don't most of us?!!) but this new guy? 😍😍😍 Just you wait until you meet the irresistible and super mysterious Danill. He was... everything.

Stolen by the Sinner is the first in the Russian Torpedo series and it was crazy good. Addicting, alluring, intense at the turn of every page. Holland and Danill stole my heart from their early start and I'm crazy excited to see this series progress.

Y'all if you like a dark, dangerous, sexy, twisted romance with the mafia trope then THIS is an absolute must read.

I highly recommend this book.

He is a Russian assassin and a member of the Bravata. She is the daughter of a famous actor who has pretty much been on her own since she was 15 as he never had time for her. The assassins target is her father, however he wants more in payment since the target is such a high publicized actor who will be missed. He is offered a rhe daughter. The assassin agrees as he sees Holland and wants her for himself. They meet by chance prior to her abduction and she falls for him. Will that attitude change when when she realizes that he was responsible for the demise of her father? Thisbis an exciting and dangerous book trip to Bravata fassion.

This is the first in a new series and is Danill and Holland’s story. Danill is an intense and tough alpha from the Russian Bratva, while Holland is the daughter of a famous actor, who is living with her life being scrutinized by the paparazzi. Danill has a mission, and when he meets Holland in a club, there is an instant connection between them. This is a well written fast paced story, with undeniable chemistry, and engaging and relatable characters, which leads to a sweet, entertaining, and steamy addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Holland has been taking care of herself since she was 15, her father has made sure she has everything she needed, a roof over her head money but didn’t give her security or love. One night she meets Danill who changes her life she thinks it’s fate but he has done his research and knew where she would be. She is his reward and he wants a taste of what he owns but can you steal something that is given freely?! I absolutely adored this book how can you go wrong with a Bratva book, which means possessive morally grey men, lots of spice and a great read!! Loved this book the HEA was everything please read!

Danill and Holland!!! Hayley has written another fabulous book!!

This book has everything you enjoy reading in a mafia story. Danill is a hit man, Torpedo, for the Mafia. His hit is someone who is famous and owes a great deal of money to the Mafia.

Danill is told for handling this he can have the daughter of the man who he is asked to kill. Holland is a beautiful woman, a party girl whose been on her own since the age of 15.

Danill plans on keeping her after he kills her father. This story is the beginning of a new great series from Hayley. I'm so excited. This book is a fast moving, alpha man, hot sex and great read.

This is the start of a series and if this is like the rest it is going to be a great series. Holland has basically been on her own since she was young and I think she was looking for something more in her life. She meets Danill and they seem to hit it off and the chemistry between the two is amazing. Danill is a hit man for the Bratva and his next hit is someone close to Holland. This is full of action and suspense and all things that make Bravta books interesting. I loved the characters and the story was a good one that surprised me in parts.

Give me some Russians with a big side of Bratva and I’m all in! This is the first book on a new Bratva series. Danill is a hit man/Torpedo for the Russian mob. He is super intense. He has a job to do that will change the life of our heroine Holland. Holland is a rich young lady that’s been in her own since she was a young teenager. Besides his payment from the mob to do this particular job he is also gifted young Holland. The thing is that she has no idea this is happening and that this handsome man she just met will rip her right out of her llore as she knows it. I don’t want to give too much away but I highly recommend this book. Can’t wait for the next one.

**** 4 Stolen Stars****
This book is action pack and full of suspense and fast paced. Holland has been pretty much on her on since the age of 15; her father gave her freedom since her mother is barely a real mother to her. But now party lifestyle is not as fun as it used to be. Danill is a member of the Bratva and is a Russian Torpedo (Hit Man). When Danill given a mission he wants more than his usual payment. So when Holland is offered as part of his payment Danill decides he’ll let her believe the chance meeting was fate. I’m leaving so much out this is why you should read this book.

A Fantastic Bratva Story...5+Stars!!!
"You can't steal someone who goes willingly." Danill is Bratva, a Torpedo, a killer. Holland is gorgeous and he is going to take her. This story is fast-paced, and I loved EVERYTHING about it. Bratva men are tough, no-nonsense men and Danill definitely falls into this category. He is unflinching that Holland will be his. This is the story of how it all comes about. If you like Bratva men and good-looking ones, then you will love this book. Don't wait, read it today!!!
