Excellent overview over the most discussed controversies ever: Paul McCartney's death in 1966, Marilyn Monroe's end, Roswell, Hitler's survival of the war, the Philadelphia Experiment, the faked Moon Landing, even Covid-19 is covered here. You get a good synopsis of what it is all about and learn about how different opinions came up and why the issue became a major controversy. Extremely interesting. Great footage and pictures. Really recommended, even if you don't believe in any conspiracy theory!

The Conspiracy Files by Leo Moynihan is a fascinating dive into some of history’s most intriguing secrets and mysteries. From moon landing doubts to secret societies and high-profile cover-ups, Moynihan presents each case in a way that’s easy to follow yet full of detail.

I loved how accessible it is — short, engaging chapters, with photos and context that make the stories come alive. It’s the perfect book for curious minds who want to explore conspiracy theories without wading through sensationalism.

If you’re intrigued by the “what ifs” of history, this book is a must-read. 🔍📖

"The Conspiracy Files: History's Greatest Secrets Revealed" offers a revamped look into many of the conspiracy theories that have been circulating for years. Split into four sections—The Rich and Famous, Powerful Secrets, Cover-Ups, and The History Books—this book touches on some of the most popular and enduring conspiracies.

While the book doesn't introduce anything particularly new to the world of conspiracy theories, it does repackage familiar stories in a way that's engaging and digestible for newcomers. For those just starting to explore this realm, The Conspiracy Files can serve as a solid introduction, providing a wide range of topics to pique curiosity. However, for seasoned enthusiasts, it might feel like a rehash of the same old theories without fresh insights or ground-breaking revelations.

That said, the book is well-organised, making it easy to navigate through different types of conspiracies, whether you're interested in celebrity secrets, political cover-ups, or the murky corners of history. Overall, it's a decent read for beginners, but it may leave those looking for something deeper or more original somewhat underwhelmed.

There's not a lot that's new in this book about history's greatest conspiracies if you're a fan on this type of stuff. The book contains many familiar plots, suspicious deaths, and secrets; trotting out the details in just 3 or 4 pages surrounding JFK's assassination, Hitler's suicide, Apollo 11, Osama bin Laden's death, 9/11, Roswell, Elvis, Princess Diana's death, and so on.

The rather shortish book is divided into 4 chapters: The Rich and Famous, Famous Secrets, Cover-ups, and The History Books. For this reader, there were only a few stories that added to my knowledge (or interest) of conspiracy theories. and those included short takes on Alexander the Great's death, the 2004 Asian tsunami, the Bilderberg meetings, and the Epsilon team.

However, at the end of the book is a great collection of books for those who want to delve more deeply into specific conspiracies or just read further about conspiracies, in general.

If you're new to this topic, this is as good a place to start as any.

An interesting book with a range of conspiracy theories covering those such as, The Death of Diana, The Flat Earth, HIV, The Moon Landings and Adolf Hitler’s Escape. Each topic has a few pages to read, making it a quick read. It’s nicely laid out with pictures supporting each topic. In the introduction it mentions that the book will talk about Covid 19, but there is only one sentence related to this in the book. There was also some symbols used in place for some letters in one of the chapters, but overall, I enjoyed this book and learnt about some conspiracies I hadn’t heard about before.

An interesting and quick read to get yourself familiar with popular conspiracies. I would recommend this book to people, such as myself, who are new to the topic and use this book as a bridge for further research. However, I wish the author had gone more in-depth with conspiracies such as the Illuminati and the New World Order...

A well written collection of some of the most popular conspiracy theories. This is a decent book going into some of the bizarre details and explanations given while also looking at both sides of the story.

Some of these are really stupid while others make me question reality.

A couple of interesting theories but a lot of them have been debunked and found to be untrue.

This was a very interesting read! The theories were really informative and very researched! I noticed though that there were a lot of misprints in the conspiracy about HIV. Maybe it was a publisher issue but it was a great book other then that! Would recommend!

I do enjoy these books. They are a perfect whistle stop tour of different events. However, if you are a fan of conspiracy theories - you are probably aware of 90% of this book.
