There are still two more rounds in the Tournament of Grace, two more opportunities for Huon and the crew of the Strong Wind to obtain boons from the Low and High Celestials of Taloniar.
Huon has attained the rank of Champion faster than he ever imagined he would, but after what he learned from the Devil of the West about the Everlasting King, he has a newfound zeal to reach even higher heights.
And if he's going to reach them fast enough, he'll have to win the Tournament of Grace.
Only the final match isn't what he thought, and someone from his past is eager to see him fail.
A pretty straightforward story. It was the second half of the Tournament of Grace. So pretty much entirely combat and training montages, but it was good. This book had a few more spelling errors then in his previous ones, but it didn't take me out of the story.
I'm glad this part is over, tournaments tend to drag a bit. And I'm excited to see where the story goes from here now that they'll past it.
Chocolate Chip cookies anyone?????? Just like my favourite snack, full of yummy scrumptiousness but hardly anything good....... I mean you just have to keep on reading and try to find anything that will say.....OH!!!!!!!!!! and not OH........ As usual our resident Champions embark on another thrilling adventure, that said adventure another tournament, sometimes just reading about training, and training and more training, makes me want to train not to slam this ebook down, I mean..........there is the usual inner monologue, but hardly anything is sorted out, just more of this and this and this, and what if this..........for once Huon can you just say or think "This is what I will do!!! And from there go do it none of this move forward, then backward again......... Champion, supposedly the mid rank, naturally when you become a Legend, physically nothing comes close to hurting you(except for your fellow Legends and legend class creatures), your mindset becomes better, better understanding of yourself and environment.....but this is not the case with our favourite group........ The best part of this chocolate covered story(covered is the right choice, you see the chocolate, but it is not the gooey, chewy one, yummy is there since well it is chocolate...but this chip is kinda dry.......)was the tournament winding down to it's end(and what a finish, although not the finish I wanted).......I would have given this one a 2 star........hopefully the next book is better than a dry chocolate chip....
This one felt a little odd. It was very short. It didn’t cover many plot points. It basically just covered the rest of tournament. Nothing really significant happened.
Very similar to the last 2 books as everything takes place in the foreign island where they found the celestials. Most of the story is taken up with advancing and the tournament. Fun. But not a lot of world development.
Book was good, I just feel like the characters need to struggle a bit more. it feels like they had a little too much plot armor in this one. I knew how the story was going to go as it was rather predictable
