I picked up the 2010 version for a massive discount and read it in 2012. I figure most of the info (aside from prices) is still pretty accurate and didn't feel it was dated while reading it at all. Great book full of tons of information. The information and details on most of the major attractions were mostly wonderful. I only wish the book had included more photos of some of the things they were talking about because that would have given me a better idea of the attraction. The maps throughout the book and the pull-out one included are quite good, very simple but easy to read and understand. Looking forward to spending a few days in this city.

I read this almost (but not quite) cover to cover before my trip to London and carried it around the whole time I was there. It was so helpful and such a great resource. I discovered sights I didn't even know were there (such as a really great exhibit in the British Library that had some of Jane Austen's original writings as well as 2 of the 3 existing copies of the Magna Carta) and its restuarant recommendations were spot-on. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to London (I highly recommend London itself too!).

I read this book during my recent trip to London. I found the maps very useful. Highlights of the trip were the Tate Modern and of course. afternoon tea. Jazz was not as good as in NYC, at least for me.

Superfluous after reading Rick Steves's London guide - which is a better written and more comprehensive guide.

Very helpful, although based on the English's lack of labeling and very intricate transportation system, no book could be that good!

I liked their suggestion for the longer itinerary where one can visit suburbs of London ---Greenwich, Windsor & Eton, Stonehenge, Oxford & Cambridge.

A very helpful guide in which I discovered three hotels to reserve for an upcoming stay in Oxford and London.
