In a fantasy world where "jobs" are god-given from birth, heroes are born, not made... and Ain's job of "Appraiser" has put him about as far from the "hero" pedestal as possible. Used, abused, and eventually abandoned by his fellow adventurers, Ain decides it just isn't worth going on... Lucky for Ain, though, the end may just be the beginning... and a new lease on life. Turns out, his "worthless" job may just be the key to becoming a hero after all...
Ain the appraiser's days were filled with misery, but his destiny began to change after stumbling upon a hidden dungeon. When Yuri, the spirit of a World Tree, gives Ain a "spirit eye" with the power to see everything, it opens the door for him to become the strongest of all! With his newly acquired power, Ain sets out to defeat the dungeon's boss monster and reach the outside world...
Booooring. I was kinda bored with the first volume, but sometimes the first volume is boring because it's setup, so I decided to give the series one more try. This just wasn't very interesting. When the character is so ridiculously OP, the tension level is low, and with this, when he literally has a healer in him as well as all the other crazy skills, there is no sense of danger.
So that leaves the characters, which are pretty generic. Do I hate them? No. Do I care about them? Also no. The only thing I was vaguely interested in was the encounter with his former teammate, which was meh.
It just keeps getting better and better! Loving this book! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Probably will buy the full series after I get done reading what I’ve already bought!
