Nice little horror novel

I liked the characters a lot. The ambitious doctor, the able mercenary, the enigmatic boat captain, very well crafted and brought to life. A nice quick read with a couple (literally 2) editing errors. Over all, pretty good.

Not all that bad for throwaway military-style entertainment. Somewhat disappointing ending, and the characters were a little haphazard, but at only a hundred or so pages certainly no worse than whatever tv/movie equivalent dreck would take the same time to consume.

Was a decent read, but the ending seemed a little rushed.
