Deset malých černoušků
Na sídlo vybudované na ostrově v kdesi v devonském hrabství je pozváno deset lidí, kteří spolu na první pohled nemají naprosto nic společného. Snad kromě toho, kdo je pozval. Hostitel se však zatím neobjevil. Místo toho se při večeři ozve zvláštní hlas z gramofonu, který každého z hostů obviní ze zločinu. Nedlouho poté je první z hostů nalezen mrtev. Já jsem spokojená. Dostala jsem přesně tu Agáthu, kterou jsem si chtěla přečíst. Děj má nápad (ještě na tu dobu? haloooo - číst to před 80 lety, tak se zblázním hrůzou), napětí, spád, fajnové rozuzlení a silné postavy.
Začátek knížky - nahrávka o 10 černoušcích - se mi zaryl pod kůži a mám z ní husí kůži do teď. Doporučuju (hlavně těm, co s Agáthou začínají - tohle je správná volba, která nezklame - naopak, naladí na další).
