Kira Roman is a Mom of two monsters, she loves reading, and naps. She loves food, and The Office. She loves gloomy, rainy days. Naps, did I mention naps? She loves naps. And food. All the food.
I’m not even slightly ashamed to admit that I completely binge read this entire series. After Vaz was taken I was freaking out and also wondering how they could ever beat Lilith with her life connected to Kade and Kora’s. This book did NOT disappoint, even in the slightest. It’s been so amazing to see each and every person progress and grow into characters I somehow love even more than I did at the beginning. Certain parts of this book had me bawling like a little baby, and that’s how you know it’s a fantastic novel. One that can make you feel so ensnared by the story and it’s characters that you feel as if you’re right there experiencing it with them. I only wish the story could continue forever.
I enjoyed the book. It almost felt slower than the others. The action scenes were quick, while the build up was slow. The climax of the story was very short. Don’t get me wrong, it was written well, the emotions matched the actions but I felt like there was something missing. There was hardly any talk about the academy, what was going on when Lilith died. Plus with all the bullying she experienced so heavily in the first book, there was no bite back on those who bullied her. I felt a bit ripped off on that hence the 4stars. The fmc deserved her moment to shine amongst the bullies in school. I’m not particularly interested in reading the novella after this one, as it has the fmc dad in the harem. It just feels a bit weird, maybe after I read several other books will I be able to come back and read that one. Otherwise, the series was good. The plot was interesting, I loved all the different povs. Although it got confusing for a bit when I read povs from characters not part of the harem. I’m glad I read this series.
I’m really sad to be saying goodbye to Lucinda, she is really one of the best FMCs I’ve read and her story is so original. I love her sense of humor and the dynamic she has with her guys. And even with her Dad, Lucifer lol. Lucinda is gonna stay true to herself no matter what. We got conclusions to the Ammon and Lilith storyline and I really like what Kira did with Lilith in particular. I enjoyed reading about Cat and Anika too, they were great. I loved all the steamy scenes and the humor in this series!
I loved this series since I first delved into book 1, growing to love it more and more with the 2nd and now last book. It really was a perfect ending for Lucinda and her guys, as well as all the side characters negative come to love. The steamy scenes WOWZER are they hot! The piercings had me drooling ... I couldn't pick a favourite guy, honestly are The characters I absolutely love
First of all I would like to extend my condolences to the author for your loss. In the first book, the loss of her best friend was devastating, so I was extremely happy when she came back as an angel! This was a wonderful series in so many ways, great characters, a kick ass heroine and an interesting storyline. I would definitely recommend and I can't wait to see what this author comes up with next!
Ive just finished reading this book and having read the about the authors page im genuinely sorry for your loss Ms Roman. It put into perspective the love that i thought came out more in this last book between not only Lucinda & Anika but all of the main characters.
Yes there was plenty of steamy scenarios, laughs and lots of action too in this finale. It was a cracking way to tie up all of the loose ends and end it on a high and i loved reading it so much. A great read
Reverse harem Different supernaturals Academy Abuse
Lucinda has a bad childhood when her dad disappears from her life when she was a child. Her mother passed away and her step dad was abusive. She finds out who her father is and attends an academy to learn to control her magic.
Secrets, abuse, finding out who you are and being strong despite everything life throws at you describes this book.
They are all in Hell and the ladies and the men are together in this one. Lilith has been captured and is accidentally given a soul. She has been bespelled to not leave Lucifer's home and is trying to make up with her children. There is still one demon left to kill though.
1 star — nothing is of consequence. you thought someone dead? wrong! nothing that happens really matters and in turn, these books don’t really matter. Roman wrote this book after losing someone dear to her and I do not want to discredit that. Her reversing every significant death just… isn’t conducive to Lucinda’s character development.
So, I was looking to see if there was a way for me to contact the author, but I probably missed it somewhere.
If the FMC's name is Lucinda, why are the chapters that she leads titled "Luncida?" I made it to chapter 5 before I noticed and then I was incredibly distracted the rest of the book.
Still a great read, but would be better with the right name.
This was a great ending to an epic story. I love how angles fight along with the demons. We get all the loose ends tied off. This has all the fells happy, shocked, sadness…it’s a damn rollercoaster. The ending finishes on a good note.
This was a good ending to Lucinda's story. I liked all the different points of view. The story has all of the snark Cin likes to dish out as well as some super steamy moments. Plus we get to see the side characters stories come together as well.
Again, I liked the plot but man the inconsistencies didn't end in this book.. even in at least 4 chapters main characters names are misspelled. RAZ became RAS at least twice and even the main leading lady, Lucinda is spelled Luncida... this is at the title of the chapters.. so weird.
Such a great ending for this series. The steamy scenes were completely off the charts and hot AF! 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵 Loved seeing all the relationships develop, the action (outside the bedroom that is), the suspense and the perfect ending. The series finished perfectly.
What an epic finale to amazing series, I cannot believe the fight scenes in this book and they were awesome. I am sad that this is the end of the series but I will continue to read more from this author.
I love the way the series ended. Even though this was a trilogy, it felt like it wasn't going on too long because the books were on the shorter side (at least compared to a lot of series I see).
I absolutely love this series. I couldn’t remember who wrote it and for the longest time but I saw a tiktok. One of my favorite series. Lucinda is one awesome baddie.
