LOVE THESE BOOKS

I have yet to find The chicken soup for the soul book, that I didn’t love. Every single book that I have read, has left me with a full heart.
They are wonderful short stories who inspire, and give hugs. Some will make you laugh others will make you cry. Love these books

I admit it, I'm only 40 page into this book, but I can already tell it's a 5 star read for me. The stories are sweet and encouraging and just what I need. I was feeling down yesterday and this caught my eye at the grocery store book section. I figure for the price, it's just the dose of encouragement and hope I need right now.

First, my bias: I have a story published in this book! #60 - The Angel in the Wreckage.

But, of course, I didn't write the other 100 stories, so I feel I can offer a fairly unbiased review.

I loved this book! All the stories are great, but many are absolutely goosebump-inducing. I literally found myself gasping out loud and saying "That can't be real!"

The writers of this book come from all perspectives and backgrounds, including a variety of faith traditions. Each story is unique in theme and delivery. It's published in the USA, but like me, several writers are from Canada or other countries.

The stories are short enough to be used as a daily devotional, or you can just sit and read the whole book for an oversized dose of inspiration.

Highly recommend!

CHIRP AUDIOBOOK

Some of the 101 stories are very good… and others are somewhat questionable. The Bible warns us against the use of mediums and soothing. In addition, when people pass from this world, they do not become angels which is implied in several of the stories. Do angels interact with us and assist us? Certainly. Just look at Psalm 91. They are angels of God posted here, with us, for our assistance and guidance. Many of the stories are credible and others…. not so much.

Admittedly, I do have a short story in this book. My first story to be published, taking me from writer to author. Most exciting for me. Of course, I am biased, but I loved the other one hundred stories found in this book. So inspirational.
Each story is short and can be easily read at one sitting. Turn off the news and read one of the stories, and your day will be much better for it.

Another Great Read

This book demonstrates that we can find joy and hope, even amidst tragedy. Even those who are skeptical about angels may begin to doubt themselves when they read the many stories about our spiritual guides.
