This has been my children's favourite so far in this series! KJ is so inspiring and there is so much to her story! My daughter reread it almost immediately.
This chapter book biography about the NASA mathematician Katherine Johnson summarizes her early years, family life, and career in an engaging way. The illustrations are nice, and the book celebrates her boundary-breaking accomplishments. The book also has other appealing features, such as the "myth vs. fact" sidebars, a timeline that builds throughout the book, a quiz, a glossary at the end, and open-ended discussion questions.
