First book in series: cliffhanger, part one of two, part two is 2.99 purchasable. Not terrible, but frustrating that it couldn't be dealt with as promised.

Second book: Skipped it because I didn't want an intergalactic romance, I just wanted an Earthbound one (Sorry, it's a picky-evening sorta' thang).

Third: Threesome party, but it felt real...erm. Woozy. I'm still not certain how I feel about it. Really too short for the whole shebang to have percolated. The bad-guy angle is really sudden and abrupt. Too over the top emotionally, felt real contrived.

Fourth: Meh, average, but not bad. It's a were-bite shifter story, and they're always interesting.

Fifth: so...much...show and tell. And flashbacks. And weird sequencing--ughhh--my brain hurts me. No. No it's no good. This one needs to be full-length. I like the premise of it, but its adaptation to the novella theme is just not right for how dedicated she wants the plot to be.

I loved that each of these books are all different. So there should be something for everyone. Great fated mates stories. Beauty and the Alien Beast was my favorite. 5 stars.

While the first book in this collection, Grumpy Special Ops Bear, does end in a cliffhanger (yuck I hate cliffhangers), the others are the first books in series and standalones. My favorite was Beauty and the Alien Beast. Tekan, a Wulfaen Gladiator Alpha, is the leader of a dying breed. No offspring have been born in 30 years, but human women may be viable mates. Tekan and his clan will not force nor be apart of those that kidnap or enslave them to breed. But when he goes to rescue one of the newest kidnap victims, he recognizes his mate. Ella knows he is her rescuer, even though her translator is broken and they struggle to communicate. She trusts him, is attracted to him, but wants to return to Earth. Their story is steamy, action packed, and a fun read. Overall a solid 4 star read.

Furious, I don’t like being tricked! DNF…DONT BOTHER! started reading this got really into the story and it abruptly ended! And I can’t finish story without part 2 and at a extra cost! Not cool dude! Not cool!
Will never read this author again. I don’t trust you! This is a box set of part 1’s. To complete the stories in this so called box set… it will cost you for each one!
Thank for wasting my time! I never a stress relief from my financial woos in the form of sitting down with a good holiday box set of shifter stories ….and this is how I am treated. You are the villain, in your stories! Sedona Venez you are! Two stars are for the fact I was really into the story! But then you tricked me with a cliffhanger and I’m not paying more than I already have!

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW of A Very Shifter Holiday Boxed Set by Sedona Venez. This boxed set features five first in series reads. While four of the five could be considered a complete story, the first read, Grumpy Special Ops Bear, is part of a serial read and has a cliffhanger ending. I enjoyed the character chemistry and thought the characters were well developed. I also enjoyed that there was a variety in genre and you can pick your fav! A fun couple of hours that will leave you smiling.

These are five first in series stories and there isn’t a bad one here. I especially enjoyed Beauty and the Alien Beast; I thought Teken was awesome and their attempts to communicate with no common language were fun. I liked this book very much. A young woman was abducted on Earth and taken to a planet in another system.
A prince sees her and wants to get to know her. They fall in love!

It was intense but it was also wonderful in many ways. Interesting concept of man different paranormal characters. Scary in some places and fighting. Also a bit of mystery. That is why I couldn’t put it down.

Gunner - Good characters and storyline make for a good read.

Grumpy Special Ops Bear : pt 1 - This was a good intro to the story. Episode one lays the groundwork for what is shaping up to be a good fun read.

When Lightning Strikes - This is an amazing story. The characters were strong and the storyline is fantastic. I really enjoyed this read.

Craze - I enjoyed the characters and storyline.
