Rancher Cord Holderness needs a wife, but with few prospects in the Wyoming Territory, he decides that the only way to find a well-bred young lady is to get a mail-order bride. Much to her surprise, she discovers that she’s fallen in love with him.

3.5 stars- solid 4 star, if this didn't have the awful spanking theme in it.

An enjoyable story about a mail order bride's change of heart at the last minute, Kayla ending up with the hot rancher when she only planned on letting him know his intended dropped out of the plan. Now he thinks Kayla is the bride.

The story itself is quite interesting, compelling, often hot, romantic, and more, but I am so not a fan of the spanking genre.

3.5 stars for me. Another story in my backlog. Pretending to be his mail-order bride to stall for time while she gets money got Kayla in a whole heap of trouble. But she figured out her life was better spent not running and making a go with her rancher Cord. Cute story. Had a couple of bad guys that caused the ruckus and there was a nice hea.

This is a really good historical western story with plenty of spankings to go around. Kayla learns the joys of being disciplined at the hands of her Rancher and learns how to truly be herself.
