Two girls and a boy, brought together by loneliness and tragedy, forge a friendship that will define their lives, and agree to meet at their favorite place in fifteen years, but when Kate returns to the small town of her youth, expecting to find no one, she is pleasantly surprised. Original.
This is by far my absolute favorite book. I read my copy so many time the paperback covers fell off. I love the friendships between Lily and Kate how it stays strong even when Jordan leaves. Very well written and such a great story.
I loved this book. Despite of it being a short book, the characters were so beautifully developed and the story perfectly captures the damage when living in your own past.
Kate, Lily, and Jordan form a childhood friendship. The two girls and boy vow to meet back at the golf course they spent so much time at in 15 years. Good read.
I picked up this book with low expectations- after all, I'd gotten it as a discarded library book for about a dollar. By the end, however, I was impressed. This book got me thinking about my own life while drawing me into Kate's world- a fantastic combination. Great book, overall!
