It’s his game. He makes the rules. Rule number one – only he can break the rules.
Zach Lowe lives his life without relationships in business and personally. Getting involved doesn’t work well when you’re the Black Knight of Wall Street.
Ellora Duvall, the sweet kid who crushed on him in high school, waltzes into the world of corporate finance with the same wide eyed innocence she had in chemistry class. He hadn’t expected her to affect him the way she did, but he’s in control. A few weeks with Ellora will be pure pleasure, then he’ll move on. She’ll understand. He should, too.
Who broke his rules?

Ellora Duvall has had a crush on Zach Lowe since she was a teen but his mother's warnings have played in her head for years and since then she has felt unworthy of him. When she realizes the devistation he just caused, she will never forgive him. So why won't her heart listen to her head?
Zach knows Ellora is furious but convincing her it is misdirected seems futile. When he and Ellora are both called home he suspects the worst and is sure Ellora's anger will only intensify when she learns the latest news.
I really wish the author would have focused on more character details and development of the h and H so we felt more connected to them and their families, like Ellora's sisters and Zach's brothers. She writes them each having so many siblings, only two of each are referred to by name, although they all play somewhat prominently in the story. Why would the author write so many siblings into a series of only three books. It seemed an odd omission.
Ellora Duvall loves her job at JRK, a Wall Street equity firm. Zach Lowe works for Bell Equity, a company specializing in hostile takeovers. Ellora has crushed on Zack since high school but his mother made it very clear that Ellora was not good enough for her son. When Bell buys JRK, Ellora and all the other employees lose their jobs and she holds Zack personally responsible. As far as Ellora is concerned – like mother, like son and nothing he does or says will change her mind.
The story is well-written but I got a little tired of Ellora continually using the takeover and job loss as her excuse for having nothing to do with Zack, especially since he was only an employee at Bell. Zack was a strong male lead, willing to wait until Ellora figured out the truth.
Ellora and Zach definitely had chemistry. I liked Zach a lot. He knew what he wanted and went after it. He was loving and giving. Ellora drove me crazy. She was so in her head. I could understand her insecurities. But she didn’t pay attention to what was happening around her. She was so focused on herself she couldn’t seem to see anyone or anything else, although she certainly tried to be there and be supportive of her family. I just could not relate to her at all.
A wonderful, funny, witty storyline filled with an unlikely friendship of an office relationship, between personal and professional, the line is thin and can blurred easily. When Ellora & Zach are in the same room, the chemistry will make your heart melt. I was hooked immediately and felt for Ellora, her story is filled with lots of drama, enjoyable, intense and emotionally moving. I stayed up way my bedtime because I just couldn’t put it down until the end. I receive an Arc and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
I started reading this book in two sittings but once I started I couldn't put it down. I read the whole thing and finished about 2:30AM. It was so interesting that I had to finish it. Well written and you could feel the pain that they went through. They felt the love but also the pain it put them through. Elloro and Zach knew they loved each other but couldn't admit it. Both families loved there families so much.
Wherever Love Finds You is a clean, powerful romance. Long ago, Zach's mother told Ellora that Ellora would never be worthy of Zach. Ellora works for a trader. Zack works for a company that buys distressed companies and lays off the workers. When Ellora's firm becomes a target of Zach's firm, there are misunderstandings and Ellora is both hurt and insulted. I really enjoyed this well written, character driven book!
This was a quick and easy read, I probably could have read it in one day if I didn't have to go to work. I really liked the male lead. He seemed to know what he wanted from the beginning and if the female lead wasn't so hard headed...well it would have been a shorter book. Some of the activities in the beginning of the book were a little predictable but it was still a cute read.
I enjoyed the first instalment of the Beaumont Brides series.
I have to say that I really loved Zach! Who wouldn't, though. 😉 Ellora was a patient big sister, and understanding of the needs of others, but she wasn't very smart when it came to Zach. I felt like yelling "Wake up, woman!" to her a bunch of times!
Zach & Ellora grew up together. She had a crush on him but his mother told her she would never be good enough for him. Now they are both in NYC and they run into each other. They work for different financial firms. But they go out on lunch date & a boat ride. But she loses her job and then his mom gets married to her dad. But there more to this story.
An interesting story of 2 people working on wall street, in stocks & investing. They grew up in the same town & were in high school together. This story begins 6 years later when meet in an office building. The meet in the 1st chapter is enticing. If you prefer faith-based stories, choose another book.
This was rather a classic romance. It was about two people who had know each other in high school and finding each other again as adults. A fast easy read. I read her fourth book in this series and the story line is much the same. A good book if you are just looking for a clean light romance.
A pretty good story, however, needed a bit more development in a few sections. For example, her new job, what is it? Zach's new job, what is it? Why the change? I know it is implied, but could have been stated. Then, her and Zach's getting to the point of getting married. That, could have been developed more too. It seemed too abrupt. Apart from that was an Ok read.
Women spend way to much time worrying about what others say or think about them. This definitely holds true for Elloura. Words spoken by Zack's mother years ago keep ringing in her ears, coloring every interaction with Zack. Well written and well developed characters. Great ending!
This was a good read. It’s amazing how much you miss out on when you presume that you know someone. This is what Ellora goes through with misconceptions about Zach. I recommend this book and look forward to reading more books by this author.
Wow. The tension is high. I keep getting unexpected things happening in this book, every time I turn around! So much family and childhood friends and business and more.
I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
I thoroughly enjoyed this novel from the first page until the very last. It has been a very rare occurrence that I could just pick up a book and read it in one day; but, I was captivated by these characters and their amazing love story instantaneously.
This was a pretty good romance. She had live him for years. She had always been in his mind and heart. Many obstacles got in their way the they became step siblings. It certainly had a lot of twists and turns, but it wad fun to read.
I loved the story. The attraction Zach and Ellora had for one another was firey and believable for the real world. The stepmother held true to the "stepmother stereotypes"of being a horrible shrew. Definitely a great little cozy read and would highly recommend.
This book was OK. I liked Zac a lot, but was not a fan of Ellora. the storyline was good, not quite a page Turner and I felt like the ending was rushed. I am interested in the rest of the brother so I will read the rest of the series.
I enjoyed the romantic love story. It was written with lovely love scenes without any bad language or sexual love scenes. What a romantic love story should be.
It was a pretty good book but the conflict lasting until the very end was a bit irritating. It's like diving off a very high cliff only to land a few feet down.
Wow, what a great book. A book filled with love and angst. Very different from other romance novels I have read. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
This was a cute story. I enjoyed the plot, but I was annoyed by the wishy washy attitude of Ellora. I appreciated Zach’s honesty and his change of heart.
Wherever Love Finds You by Laura Haley-McNeil Beaumont Brides Series Book One Ellora Duvall loves working and living in New York. She makes more money than she ever thought she could working on Wall Street. And then the day comes when someone from her past crosses paths with her and nothing is the same again. Life keeps going downhill from that day it seems like.
Zach Lowe and Ellora were from the same town. The same high school. Different sides of the tracks. Funny how things you were told in your younger years stick with you. Reminding you of things like not being good enough for some people.
This is the first book I've read from this author and I really enjoyed it. I found it to be an easy read that kept my attention and the pages turning. http://justjudysjumbles.blogspot.com/...
I almost felt like I was reading the Brady Bunch at the end of the book! Alas, it came to be a Hallmark movie and the main character got a job, the male lead found a conscience and the nasty mother in law became tolerable. Cheers to the writer who brought this all together between laughter and crying
