Capone never expects to be knocked for a loop when he enters the MC’s new business, the local gym. However, that’s exactly what happens when he lays eyes on Mackenzie Mathews, aka Mac. A woman has never affected him like she does, only she should be off-limits. She’s an employee, but Capone can’t seem to forget about the feisty amateur MMA fighter. Too bad for him, she isn’t an easy woman to get to know, despite his best efforts. She’s determined not to let him or anyone else in. Mackenzie doesn’t have time for men, other than those she spars with at the gym. She’s too busy trying to keep a roof over her and her little brother’s heads, and keeping him away from the clutches of a street gang leader intent on having them both. She’s a fighter both in and out of the ring. What in the world would this hot biker want with her? How can Capone convince her that he’s looking for more than a good time or to make her life more difficult? Capone is determined this woman will be his, no matter what or who stands in his way. Come hell or high water, he knows Mackenzie is destined to be Capone’s Wild Thing.

An avid reader with a passion for romances that finally got the chance to write one of her own. The rest is history. Not what anyone thought for someone who has been a nurse and in healthcare management for years.
I sit writing as my two fur babies, my pugs Kujo and Khaos, impatiently wait for me to get done so they can lay on me as their human sofa!
My children are finally considered to be adults, so it's me, the hubby and the dogs.
I'm a iced tea drinking fiend who has insomnia, more ideas than I know what to do with, and a need to write them down.
Not too bad for a girl from rural Ohio in the foothills of Appalachia that grew up in a town of about 4000 people.
Again!! It happened again! I'm in love with this book so bad. I think I need my own MC. I loved Capone and Mac they were just amazing and I need more of them. I can't wait to read the next book!
Capone is working on the gym his club just took over and one of the responsibilities is vetting the current employees. What Capone doesn't plan on is the instant attraction to Mackenzie Matthews. Capone finds himself walking a fine line but when a local gang member tries and claims Mac as his own, Capone steps in. The problem is Capone and Mac butt heads and Mac is ready to run when Capone goes all alpha on her, can he keep her safe as well as prove he is worth giving her heart too?
I liked this one, Capone is a bit of an idiot at times. His heart is in the right place he just gets overly protective. I liked Mac, she was a strong female character but a bit reactive at times. Great story.
Capone is surprised by the woman that he meets at the new gym, a new venture that the MC has gone into. Mackenzie Matthews “Mac” is a woman that is doing her best to keep her brother on the right path and a roof over both of their heads. When the MC takes over the local gym, her lively hood is in jeopardy, all because Capone doesn’t like the way that she is treated at the gym by a few customers, but one in particular. Capone is just like his brothers in the MC, when that one woman comes into his life even by accident, and knocks him on his keester, he is lost and will do anything to make her his and keep her safe and sound. The only problem is that these men keep falling for independent, strong women that will fight them tooth and nail to keep that independence. Mac is no different. She’s been on her own too long to let any man take over and dictate to her what she can do and where she can go. This story was just as great as the other books in this series. I love the characters! The men are sexy, possessive, and loyal and the women are strong, independent, sexy and fighters. Once these couples figure out the path to lead them to their HEA, nothing can stop them. Capone and Mac are no different. Once Mac realizes that Capone is truly invested, she gives in, but not after several fights and blow ups. I love this series, the characters are great, and the stories are always full of action, suspense, and great plots. I look forward to more of the Archangel’s Warriors MC and their allies’ stories. I give this story a 5-star review. I am always up for a book written by Ciara St. James. Her characters stay with me for a long time after reading her books.
Spelling mistakes, Capone is a caveman, & 3 different lots of people wanting to hurt her!
Okay, first things first. Lots and lots of spelling mistakes, Mackenzie has THREE lots of people out to harm her!!!! One is a gang, and that plot doesn’t make sense at all!!! Capone is a caveman from the Middle Ages who believes women shouldn’t be fighters, as Mackenzie is. He’s also a arse to her several times, and she goes running off each time. Mackenzie isn’t much better! She takes offence at everything and doesn’t talk to him before she goes stomping off! Considering she’s looked after her younger brother, since she was 18, she’s very immature.
Mackenzie is a mma fighter as well as working at the gym. When the warriors buy the gym, Capone will be the new manager. As soon as he sees her he wants her, so instead of flirting with her, he’s cold and aloof with her. Then he threatens her job when a man verbally abuses her in the gym. So of course they finally get together, and everything is wonderful, apart from all these different people that want to harm her.
I struggled with this book. As I didn’t like either of them. Out of the three different plots, two didn’t make any sense. It was just a weird book.
I found it enjoyable for the most part. You can tell the maturity difference between Mac and Capone. She pee'd me off a few times with her lack of listening. I could see her pov but she just needed to stop and listen. Capone was an amazing character for the most part. He was I guess you could say 'typical biker' in his possessiveness but he was a little over the top with some things. Mostly with Mac's fighting i would say. All the other supporting characters seemed great. Her brother seemed great. I have not read any other novels from the series. There are a few i would like to read and will read however, I wont be reading them in order. I don't really feel its necessary unless you want full timelines and contuations of each story. I would have liked another chapter stating the last of the details such as how many kids they have, details about their house, schooling Mitch wise and if he prospects for the club and what not however, I gather thats the continuation with the stories. You only gets bits here and there is the other characters in the up coming novels. The same seemed to possibly happen within this one. Great novel. I don't regret reading this one first.
What happens when two stubborn, strong willed people fall in love? Especially when one is an alpha biker that didn't know love would make him lose his mind. Mackenzie and Capone aren't water and fire, they are fire and gasoline. When they get together, things explode, whether its passion or fury. They both do let their anger get the best of them a few times but its so fun to watch them butt heads! Capone is definitely the perfect example of the bigger they are, the harder they fall. I was on the edge of my seat, not know where the danger was going to come from next. Not to mention wondering if Mac was even going to give Capone a solid shot or not. Love this series so much! If you are looking for strong women and hot bikers, this is the series for you!
As always Ciara is an inspiring, imaginative, and great writer who created another great story that had everything I've come to love when reading her books. You can always count on it having some kind of drama, women who make these warrior alpha characters fall & sometimes act or say things like idiots, lots of twists & turns, & hot & heavy steamy scenes too lol.
I enjoyed watching Capone fall when he found his HEA. And of course I loved Mackenzie's character she was another independent strong woman who didn't take no crap.
I look forward to seeing who is next to fall so off to find the next book in the reading order.
Capone’s Wild Thing is the 14th book in the Dublin Falls’ Archangel’s Warriors MC series and follows Capone as he takes over managing the clubs new gym and meets Mackenzie who not only works there but is an amateur MMA fighter.
This book was another good instalment in the series, it had a good balance of story and spice and the characters were well fleshed out. I found it to be an enjoyable read and I loved the fact that the FMC was an amateur MMA fighter, she reminded me of Harlow from the first book of the series in that she really could take care of herself.
Overall, this was another enjoyable read and one I’d recommend.
Ya know I found this story alot of fun to read. Capone was so loving with his "Wild Thing!" I enjoyed the layers of stories within the same couple and how they reacted. Capone being so protective and Mackenzie herself having the same reaction for other reasons. It's a good story and still had me loving all the sexy times to include the hilarious antics that go between everyone in the series - to include other MCs too. I can't wait to read it again. I love Cee Bowerman's ideas for the world she has created. Good job!!
This isn't a review, as it is more of an opinion, because these books are all worth the read. But, just once I would like someone to tell these ladies, in the story, how exhausting it is to keep proving yourself to someone, when that person has a preconceived idea about you, and punish men for someone else's mistakes, or even punishing them for what they MIGHT do. All jump first, ask later. These ladies have no faith whatsoever in these men. Personally, I would have walked away from most of them, and told them why. Just saying.
I loved this story about Capone and his woman Mackenzie. Every day of her life was a struggle until Capone came into her life and her brother Mitch's too. She is a fiercely independent woman who doesn't always make it easy for Capone. One other things I loved about this story is that Mackenzie had aspirations to be a romance writer; I enjoy it when the MFC is a writer or has a job that involves books. Speaking of romance, there is plenty of steam and angst too. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
I chose this rating because this was actually a pretty good book. I enjoyed a good bit of the characters. This was a book of compassion, kindness, reputation, protection, involvement, doing the right thing for you and your family, being yourself and falling in love. I enjoyed Capone And Mackenzie story. I think the author did an amazing job putting these characters together. Mackenzie was a feisty little thing and she took care of business. She also loves her brother and did what she had to do to take care of him. I recommend this book to all romance readers and MC lovers.
The storyline had become a formula and predictable and the Characters a little bit cookie cutter! I love the world building and the Character development and the series .
I can't say I like that every time it's only the Guy's fault of something happens between the Two main Characters and He comes Begging for Redemption and then the Dr!ale is I Am not worthy. Other wise It was OK. The Book has a good flow and seamless transitioning.
I hate to say it but I didn’t love this book at all… I am very big on not letting my feelings for one character dictate my rating and review however I strongly disliked Mac! There is a strong woman and then there is her… the other components of this book were god the storyline the suspense even the ending worked for me but I didn’t like Capone’s love interest at all.
This author does the same dynamic over and over. H does/says obviously moronic things, h gets upset, H then realizes the error of his ways and convinces h he’s sorry. This happens over and over. There’s always a threat (or in the case of Capone’s Wild Thing- 3!) to the heroine. There’s always club whore drama and doubt/insecurity for the h’s. It’s the same premise and plot devices in each book. 🥱
I loved the story of Mac and Capone. But, I did notice one thing that bugged me. I have read all of the books in the series, so it bothered me that the author mixed up her characters. Viper is married to Harper. In this story, she said Blaze was Reaper's brother-in-law. This inaccuracy bothers me since Viper is one if my favorites. Otherwise, an overall good story. Though, you would think by now the guys would realize the bunny drama wasn't worth it.
I’ve loved of the books in this series, they leave you with a warm happy feeling and in need of some cooling off. My only beef was Capone’s constant need to smother Mac‘s fighting instincts. I get wanting to protect, but there’s one part where I felt he really needed to thank her and not carry on as he did, and he never did apologize.
This was a terrific story, and a great addition to the series. There were a few parts that were less than enjoyable for me (mainly because of the emotional immaturity of the heroine), but overall it was a great book. I would definitely recommend this book, series, and author.
Capone's Wild Thing is book 14 in the already amazing Dublin Falls' Archangel's Warriors MC series written by the talented author Ciara St. James. This was Capone's and Mackenzie story!I loved this story, from the first to the last chapter and it was a great addition to the series. I look forward to more of the Archangel’s Warriors MC!
Once again lots of misunderstandings between the couple that cause problems. The guys should all have learned by now, it's maddening. I did really love Mac, love how tough she was, love how she did what she could for her brother and love that by the end of the book she was living an easy life due to Capone and all that he helped her with.
I understand that the author wants to be able to claim these as stand alone, but she rehashing stories from previous books. It would be better if a prologue was done, so readers from the series could just enjoy the story and not have to re-read plot.
How do these couples keep getting better and better in each book??
Love the verbal soaring between these two. Their chemistry comes through, but they stay true to who they are. These two are one of my favorite couples in this series. Can't wait for more!!!
Capone and Mackenzie. I really enjoyed this one. I really loved Capone. I'm Italian and little biased I guess...lol. Apart from the controlling issues I loved the way he was with Mac and Mitch. Mac like all the other ole ladies is very fiesty and independent and gave him more than a run for his money.
I have read most of the Dublin Falls series. Each book is different and hard to put down. I am looking forward to keep reading her other series. I enjoy the way you follow the whole club and each book ends that particular romantic interest but they are still included in the rest of the books.
Capone fell hard just like the others!! I absolutely love this MC. The men know what they want and go for it, and they don't pick yes women at all, and that's even better!! Mac definitely needed Capone in her life. She just didn't know it. She is an independent woman, but she learned she could have the life she wanted with Capone.
Capone and McKenzie was a hell of a ride, this series gets better and better with each book. The stories are well put together and the characters are awesome! And I cannot wait for falcons book!
This was another great book in the series. Alpha hero and strong heroine - it was well written & had some unexpected twists. The loving was hot & the character development interesting. I really enjoyed it & can’t wait for the next one.
I have been a big fan of Ms St James's right out of the gate! It also helped to know she is a writing buddy of 1 of my favorite authors Ms Cee Bowerman💓, between the 2 of them I would be able to read hopefully til the end of time!😍
This was Shirley one of her hot books to date! But also one of the most family oriented ones a well. This one was a book that was a little slow at first but worth continuing to the end!
Just when I fall in love with one character I have 2 more to add to my list. Just love this author and everything she writes. This book brings you in and keeps you on edge.
