Joseph Russo and Marco De Luca are willing to risk it all to keep their angel, their princess, Ashlyn Meyers, safe. On one hand, it's noble and sweet. In the other, it drives me nuts when guys go all macho and hide things because they think they know better. Marco doing this on multiple occasions drove me to the brink of insanity. 😱 I enjoyed the book despite wanting to throttle a certain someone. 😉

Such a martyr.

The time they take to unwind or makeup for their various misdeeds makes up for their misguided protection. I mean it is SO HOT! 🍆🍑🍆 Funishments, dp, bondage, and more should be expected. And while the book / series doesn't lay heavily into the mafia world, they do step into the dark side on more than one occasion, so keep that in mind.

This is the final installment of the trilogy. It's recommended that you read the books in order.

The narrators, Scott Rose, Michelle Price, and Zachary Zaba, are all new to me prior to this series. I liked them and look forward to more.

I enjoyed this series. The characters work well together.

My one criticism is that the bad guy drama is always a bit of a storm in a teacup. This is through the whole series and not just this book. The issue happens, it gets resolved. Very quickly and neatly. Good for readers who don’t like suspense.

The author uses lovely prose.

PREMISE:

MY MUSINGS:
THEIRS TO PROTECT set my pulse all aflutter, left me on pins on needles and had me breathlessly flipping the pages in this tantalizing final installment in the Ménage trilogy. Julia Sykes is a maestro at penning a dark romance with the perfect blend of beautifully choreographed BDSM encounters, heart pounding action and nail-biting suspense. But what I love best about her stories is that they are ALWAYS romance driven and leave me positively writing in ecstasy and drowning in feels! This book is no exception. THEIRS TO PROTECT is a quick, fast paced read yet truly has everything I dream in a wildly addictive page turner: A vibrantly written, cleverly crafted plot . Not just one but TWO mouthwateringly dominant, alpha protectors. Fiery sparks. Wickedly kinky bedroom games. Playful banter. Palpable tension. Pulse pounding mafia mayhem. And the list goes on and on!

I first became transfixed with these unforgettable characters in the MAFIA CAPTIVE, my love affair grew by leaps and bounds in THE DADDY AND THE DOM but by this final book? No words to describe how completely and utterly enthralled I was! THEIRS TO PROTECT picks up shortly after the last installment left off, with Joseph and Marco still in exile after shunned by their NYC crime syndicate families. But they have no regrets about leaving their old life behind because they have forged their own uniquely special family with their precious Princess Ashlyn in Boston, and this new beginning has provided them all with love and fulfillment beyond their wildness dreams. I love how this tight-knit threesome will go to the ends of the earth for each other, and now with this new danger threatening to implode their worlds, Marco and Joseph will do anything to keep their precious babygirl safe. And the BEST part? She might be their sweet submissive but she will fight just as hard as they will to preserve their sacred family.

Gah! The chemistry between Ashly, Marco and Joseph was off the charts— the gloriously talented Ms. Sykes ALWAYS burns up our kindles with her scorching hot interludes—yet the soul deep bond between them was also so achingly tender and searingly intimate it made my heart ache! I love how both Ashlyn’s Daddy and her Dom yearn to mark and claim their beloved princess in their own uniquely perverse ways. My only “quibble” is that I couldn’t decide who made me melt more. Joseph or Marcus? Though their personalities were as different as night and day—each of Ashlyn’s primal protectors were utterly mesmerizing, wolfishly sexy and magnificently savage in their own right. But you know what? Just like the heroine, I REFUSE to choose between these two swoony alphas!

I also adored Ashlyn. She is an endearing combination of wide-eyed girlish innocence and naughty vixen and it’s no wonder she has two besotted men at her beck and call who will dote on and pamper her to her hearts content!

While at the core of this story is the tender-hearted, three-way love affair between Ashlyn and her fiercely devoted masters, the author doesn’t shy away from depicting the brutality of the dark, volatile crime world that threatens to tear this picture-perfect family apart at the seams. Nor does she downplay the demons from Joseph, Marco and Ashlyn’s pasts that continues to plague them all . There was truly the perfect balance between heart pounding danger, angsty emotion, and steamy passion in this novel, and it all culminates in a heart-gripping climax that left me RIVETED. Oh, and the HEA? Utterly sigh worthy!

BOTTOM LINE:
THEIRS TO PROTECT stole my breath and was the perfect denouement to the unforgettable Mafia Ménage trilogy. Can’t wait to see what this amazing author has in store for us next!

Theirs to Protect by Julia Sykes is a ménage mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Michelle Price, Scott Rose, and Zachary Zaba. This is the third book in the Mafia Ménage Trilogy.

This is the first series of Julia's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Ashlyn, Joseph, and Marco. I liked that we got all of their points of views throughout the book.

Michelle, Scott, and Zachary did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this series if you like ménage romances, captive romances, or mafia romances.

This is a wonderful conclusion of this trilogy and I know you’ll be captivated read
I ensure you that you’ll not be able to get enough of this threesome they are simply wonderful Marco and Joseph are wonderful and they have a woman that they love more than life itself and would do whatever kit takes to ensure their safety and happiness.
Their solidarity is all important as it ensures that those around them know how motivated they are, that nothing will be allowed to intercede on their plans. They are supposed to be free and yet this is so far from fact it is a real pain in their craw and they refuse to continue in the same vent.
Josephs, father is a powerful Mafia Boss and he is not going to miss the opening to attack Dominic Russo’s Son, his one and only heir. re out my fierce men's greatest weakness: me. It soon becomes apparent that that Marco will sink too any level to achieve his goal no matter the harm between the families.
Her men are determined to protect her but she is no wilting wall flower and is going to care for them too, no matter what it takes/
They are her world she loves them more than her next breath…….
My men are determined to protect me, but I'll protect them too. They won't allow me to be hurt, and I won't allow them to be broken.

After everything they have overcome to be together all Marco, Joseph and Ashlyn want is to live their lives together and on their terms. Although they are no longer part of the dangerous lifestyle they were living they are about to find out that it is immaterial when it comes to their family’s enemies and Ashlyn may be caught in the crossfire.

Action, intrigue and surprises as Marco, Joseph and Ashlyn find themselves not only fighting for their love but for their lives as well.

4.5/5 STARS. I don’t have words to tell you guys how much I loved this book. Marco is the protective one and doesn’t open up much. Joseph is the romantic one who displays public affection whereas Marco doesn’t. Ashlyn is the bubbly one who loves them both for their activity in the bedroom whereas outside as well. She was so innocent at the start and now she’s just as fucked up as the both of them. IM USUALLY NOT A FAN OF BDSM BUT THIS BOOK ITS SUPER HOT. Like the hotel scene with the dipping chocolate and Marco wrote Mine on her chest and then licked it off or what it Joseph?

Marco is shown to care a lot about his family especially Ashlyn. She goes to Uni and he’s waiting outside her class to protect her. When a stalker is following Ashlyn he notices and tracks him down to ask questions and then stab him for his ruthless words towards his baby girl. Turns out there is someone after them and that is Ciro Amato. He was exiled by his brother Elio for threatening his son Max who is gay and Ciro didn’t like that and calls him a fag and is after Marco due to the rumour of him being exiled because he was with Joseph. A misunderstanding in their world changed everything and now they live in Boston together with Ashlyn. Joseph is sweet and kind on the outside but in the bedroom and anyone else he considers a threat, he’s a menace and it actually turns me on and gets me all hot and shit. The ending with the rings was amazing AHHHHHHH. I wish they had kids to be honest but oh well.

SMUT: OH MY GOD I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD LIKE BDSM BUT THIS ONE WITH THE ROPES AND NIPPLE CLAMPS. Count me in. 4/5 STARS.

This is final chapter in the trilogy and what a ride it’s been! The pace is fast, the countryside and surrounding players vividly built around this compelling story of young love in a slightly unconventional relationship.
Beautifully written erotic scenes and tense mafia action combine in this last book to give us an explosive ride to our HEA!
Warnings for BDSM and total power exchange, explicit sex scenes with multiple partners. Another hot and steamy read gives this another five stars.

Trilogie Mafia Ménage, tome 1 à 3 – Julia Sykes

Sensuelle à souhait, une trilogie qui vaut le détour et qui vous donnera chaud! Une romance érotique avec une touche de dark, de suspense et d’action.

Bon, avant de commencer cette chronique, je tenais à spécifier quelque chose d’important. Parfois, je prends un livre à cause de sa couverture. Parfois, à cause de son résumé. À d’autres moments, seulement à cause de son titre ou tout simplement car il s’agit d’un service presse que je dois lire. Par conséquent, tout peut arriver pendant mes lectures… comme commencer par le troisième tome avant le premier (ce qui m’arrive troooop souvent).
CEPENDANT, cette fois-ci, j’ai aimé la couverture, le titre et j’ai été intriguée par le résumé, donc je l’ai lu. Je me suis dit qu’il FALLAIT que je commence par le premier, donc j’ai bien fait attention de lire le tome un au tout début. PAR CHANCE, car cette trilogie DOIT se lire du tome un au tome trois, presque sans interruption, car c’est comme si l’auteure avait écrit son histoire et puis séparée en trois afin d’en faire une trilogie. DONC, en plus de lire les trois, il faut les lire dans le bon ordre absolument.
Ensuite, je ne ferai pas une chronique en trois parties, même s’il y a trois romans, puisqu’il s’agit en fait qu’une seule et même histoire. Je vais me gâter, les mélanger ensemble toutes les trois ET vous donner un avant-goût torride à souhait : Bonne lecture!

Joseph se sent libre. Il a tout abandonné afin de se reconstruire loin des siens, loin de l’enfer qu’était sa vie. Aujourd’hui, il travaille comme barman près de Havard et il est en fort heureux, il est devenu invisible pour tous. En parcourant la foule, il a vu LA femme qui pourrait faire tomber ses barrières. Joseph a donc un choix à faire : ignorer son désir grandissant pour la jeune femme qui vient à son bar depuis plusieurs semaines OU prendre ce qu’elle semble vouloir lui donner. Cependant, le choix ne lui appartiendra plus au moment où Ashlyn se retrouvera avec des ennuis pendant ses heures de travail… Joseph n’aura pas le choix d’intervenir et d’entrer dans sa vie.

« J’aurais dû l’ignorer et la repousser. Blesser son amour-propre maintenant valait sans doute mieux que meurtrir sa peau d’albâtre plus tard… Si j’avait été un mec bien, j’aurais épargné à Ashlyn la souillure de mon monde brutal; un monde qu’une fille comme elle, avec sa petite vie de rêve, ne comprendrait jamais. »

Être aussi proche d’elle fût un paradis pour Joseph, calme et doux. Il a passé de magnifiques semaines auprès d’Ashlyn… jusqu’au jour où son passé le rattrapera. Se sentant observé et suivi, il ne peut s’empêcher d’appeler la seule personne qu’il sait connaître l’identité de son poursuivant : Marco. «… Le fait était que j’avais été égoïste de l’abandonner dans cet enfer. En son for intérieur, il exécrait autant que moi notre vie dans la mafia. »

Alors, Joseph doit tout abandonner : la nouvelle vie qu’il s’est construit, sa relation avec Ashlyn, son job et retourner au bercail avec Marco afin de la protéger des ennemis qui les pourchassent. Il fera tout pour la garder à distance de ce monde terrible et violent. « Mes épaules s’avachirent, et la défaite m’accabla. Tous mes rêves idiots de vivre une vie normale avec mon petit ange volèrent en éclats. J’allais devoir abandonner Ashlyn et cette nouvelle vie pour toujours. »

Marco, en voyant son meilleur ami d’aussi sombre humeur, ne pourra s’empêcher de vouloir l’aider et résoudre la situation. Une seule solution se propose… Kidnapper la femme qu’il aime afin qu’elle devienne captive de la mafia (tome 1).
« -Tu ne comprends pas, reprit-il. Joseph ne t’a jamais parlé de qui il est vraiment. De qui on est. Le genre d’hommes qu’on est. »

Rapidement, Marco fera tout pour lui expliquer comment fonctionne la mafia, la violence et les meurtres. Enfermée dans leur demeure, Ashlyn ne peut que leur obéir et en apprendre davantage sur leur compte… Bouleversée par tant de révélations, elle en voudra énormément à Joseph, mais Marco l’effraie tellement qu’elle se réfugiera à nouveau dans les bras de son amant. Cependant, Marco apprendra à la connaître rapidement… à reconnaître la même passion qu’eux ressentent derrière son armure.

« -Tu te trompes à son sujet, dit-il en fronçant les sourcils. Je sais qu’elle paraît délicate, mais ça ne veut pas dire qu’elle a besoin d’être ménagée. Elle pourrait me prendre. Elle pourrait nous prendre tous les deux.
-Je te préviens, Marco, arrête de me pousser là-dessus. Fous-lui la paix.
Il fronça les sourcils en se renfrognant, mais je vis un éclair de douleur traverser son regard.
-Tu ne veux vraiment la partager, hein? Tu crois vraiment que je ferais quoi que ce soit pour la blesser?
-Je sais que tu ne lui ferais aucun mal, répondis-je en poussant un soupir. Mais tu ne la comprends pas. Pas comme je la comprends.
-Je pense que c’est toi qui ne la comprends pas. Tu l’imagines d’une certaine façon, et ton obsession pour elle te rend aveugle. Tu veux qu’elle soit cet ange pur et parfait qui te sauvera de la vie que tu hais tant. Oui, elle est pure et parfaite, mais ça ne veut pas dire qu’elle ne voudra pas de toi. Du vrai toi. Alors, arrête de te retenir comme ça.
L’envie fit palpiter mon cœur et, pour la première fois, le doute s’infiltra dans mon esprit. »

Marco et Joseph, tous les deux bien différents, ne voulant que protéger la jeune femme, devront regagner sa confiance et lui faire comprendre qu’ils la veulent tous les deux. Cependant, avec leur côté aussi possessifs et protecteurs, ils devront apprendre à se contrôler et communiquer. Ils leur apprendront qu’il y a plusieurs jeux qui existent à faire à trois… Et ils deviendront le Daddy et le Dom (tome 2).

« -…Nous voulons être avec toi. Tous les deux. »

Plus ils passent de temps ensemble et plus ils deviennent INSÉPARABLES tous les trois. Malheureusement, le danger continue de rôder près d’eux, toujours aussi violent, sombre et beaucoup plus agressif qu’avant. Marco fera TOUT afin de défendre les deux êtres qu’il aime le plus au monde de l’horreur de la mafia. Mais Joseph, qui le connaît depuis plusieurs années verra clair dans son plan obscur et, tous les deux, garderont le contrôle sur leur monde sanglant, leur désir ardant et leur Protégée (tome 3).

« …J’étais un connard cruel et méfiant, et je n’effacerais jamais complètement la noirceur qui entachait mon âme… Joseph pouvait veiller sur Ashlyn et la rendre heureuse pendant que je les protégeais tous les deux de la dure réalité de ce monde. »

Raconté à trois voix, Julia Sykes nous entraîne dans un univers rempli de sensualité, de cordages, de bondage, de passion et de danger, mais également de peurs, de doutes et de désir de sécurité. À travers Ashlyn, Joseph et Marco, elle nous fait découvrir un trouple extraordinairement soudé, qui compte les uns sur les autres pour se soutenir, s’entraider et s’aimer… tels qu’ils sont. Cependant, d’avoir le point de vue de tous les trois, nous a permis (en tant de lecteur) de vraiment ressentir l’émotion de chacun d’entre eux, à toutes les étapes de leur relation. J’ai adoré!

« Je refusais de perdre l’un ou l’autre. Je voulais garder et protéger ma famille, quoi qu’il m’en coûte… À moi. Ils étaient tous les deux à moi. Ce bâtard menaçait ma famille. »

Cette trilogie est, certes, un peu courte, j’en aurais pris beaucoup plus, mais j’en ai savouré toutes les pages. L’auteure a une plume addictive, douce et érotique à souhait. La touche de suspense, « mafia » - intrigue est très bien intriguée, selon moi et ajoute une touche de danger à la vie de nos personnages. Une trilogie surprenante, sensuellement explicite qui vous donnera des frissons OU les joues chaudes. Une romance érotique entraînante, passionnante. 10/10

Ils affirment qu’ils ne peuvent pas me relâcher, que leurs ennemis pourraient s’en prendre à moi.
Malgré tout, mon cœur appartient toujours à Joseph, et je ne peux pas m’empêcher de céder à la passion enfiévrée qui nous lie.
Les règles inflexibles de Marco me rendent folle, mais son regard d’onyx et ses ordres sévères font brûler quelque chose de plus dépravé que la colère dans mon bas-ventre.
Ils jurent qu’ils m’ont kidnappée pour me protéger, mais pourrait-il être encore plus dangereux pour moi de me rapprocher de mes ravisseurs criminels si séduisants ?

I am so glad I kept with this series!! Book 1 was a bit rough for me but 2 greatly improved and then book 3 did the same! I thought this series was full of suspense, story, and steam. In book 3 we start off with our throuple trying to enjoy their freedom but we know with the mafia involved, no one is every free/clear of them. Unfortunately this group has to go through some very tense and dangerous moments, where another one of them gets gravely hurt. We get to meet some new side characters (I am not familiar with this author so I will need to see if there is a shared world and maybe some of these guys have been introduced in another book) and I enjoyed the back and forth with the various family members. I have to say despite everything I love Joseph’s dad!

We get a lot of growth from Marco in this one. He has to finally get over some bad decisions he made in the part, some even worse ones he recently made that put his loves on the line. The group needed to be able to trust each other and not hide things that eventually would come to bite them in the butt. There were some awkward exchanges/arguments that felt like they came out of left field so that is why I didnt round this up to a 5 stars, it is a solid 4-4.25 stars for me. The group steam was *chefs kiss* and I loved seeing more of Joseph’s Dom side and Marco’s Daddy nature.

Overall I liked this series, each installment was a nice length for a 1-2 day listen, wasn’t something that was gonna drag on for a week (I like switching up my reads with some of the smaller ones in between the longer ones). The narration felt better in this one, like it was in book 2. The emotions were spot on, the fear when bad things were going on (both from the male and female narrators). One of the male narrators is better (I think I like Marco better) but the other is still good, just not as emotional/his portrayal wasn’t as strong for me. Overall an easy 4 stars!

I voluntarily reviewed a cooy of "THEIRS TO PROTECT". WOW!!!! Amazing conclusion to this fantastic Trilogy written by Julia Sykes it grabs you from beginning to end so much suspense, intrigue, danger, scorching hot steamy scenes, humor, emotional turmoil, stalker, twists that have you turning the pages.
Marco De Luca & Joseph Russo both exiled from their powerful Mafia Families because of their relationship with Ashlyn being a trio the old ways don't approved of the life style glad to be free of Mafia lifestyle they move to Boston to be together.

Marco arranges for Joseph & Ashlyn to go to Italy he has plans to beet with Elio Amato to get his help to get rid of Ciro to protect his family things don't go as planned Ciro Amato shows up in Italy to kill Joseph & Marco before he meets with Elio then sell Ashlyn.
I definitely recommend to get this excellently well written Trilogy this book held your interest to the very end I absolutely loved the chemistry between Marco, Ashlyn & Joseph its a must have for sure so well worth the read it won't disappoint. AWESOME STORY!!!!!

Action packed til the end, Julia Sykes pens the final installment to the Mafia Menage trilogy! I couldn't wait to see how this would all turn out, as cliffhanger in book two left me needing to know! We get to see the very dark side of Marco as he comes out to protect what is his. Keeping Joseph and Ashlyn safe are his priorities, so taking Ashlyn to Italy seems to be a safe bet while plans are put into place. Will it all work out? In true Julia Sykes style, I was whisked into their world, from the danger to the passion. The action scenes had me on the edge on my seat! And the family is just brutal. The question in the end, is will their love be strong enough to keep this trio together? Well, you will have to listen to find out! Get ready for the Daddy and the Dom to give it their all for their beautiful Ashlyn.

Michelle Price, Scott Rose and Zachary Zaba finish out the trilogy with all the excitement and sensuality that Sykes gives.The three have consistent voices from book to book which made the character recognizable and the listening enjoyable. Price has created Ashlyn to be quite the woman, brave, smart and alluring. Rose gave Marco an incredible darkness, adding to his dangerous aura. And Zaba had Joseph with that alpha, loyal protectiveness that is easy to love. This team was wonderful in this trilogy.

Well first make sure you read the first two, you need the build up and to understand the position they’re in.

New lives and settling in to a routine that works for Joseph, Ashlyn and Marco was easy. Once they were forced out of their “family” they were perfectly content in finding their own way with their own family, just the three of them.

Until a new threat enters their lives and Marcos try’s to make sure the treat is eliminated in his own. Marco starts to withdraw and it’s up to Joseph to find out why. Bringing him back out of himself isolated and talking through this new treat.

Still amazing chemistry between all of them and reading them turn into a true family would do anything for each other makes this book a page turner.

Book 3 in Skykes' Mafia Menage Trilogy. I have to say this is probably my favorite of the series as it gives a bit more danger and excitement with regard to the mafia then I felt the previous books gave. I love the conflict that we have both internal with these characters as well as with the trio together which I think gives us a glimpse into the problematic issues that would arise in a menage relationship. I loved the HEA as well and thought that overall the storyline flowed well and the narration added to the characters and listening pleasure of the read. Great balance of steam, alpha protectiveness and mafia danger. Well done!

Marco, Ashlyn and Joseph thought that they were free from the guys criminal pasts but when a new threat comes upon them can the trio make it out alive? Will their relationship survive this new danger?

I really liked this book. Ashlyn, Marco and Joseph are a great trio and work well together when they communicate. I understand what Marco was trying to do but if he had talked with Joseph and Ashlyn maybe some of the troubles could have been avoided that being said they end up ok in the end. As always the sex is hot and the story is interesting and you can't put the book down! I'm glad we got another story with this trio! A great read!

Ashlyn, Joseph and Marco thought they were free and clear of their old life. Free from the danger. A new threat lurks in the shadows, waiting for the perfect time to strike. To use them as an example. Limits amd trust will be tested. In order to beat this threat they must work as a team, but that's difficult when each want to protect the others.

This was the perfect ending to this trilogy. I absolutely loved the fact that Marco would do anything to ensure Joseph didn't have to get in touch with his dark side again, and that Ashlyn would remain safe. Mistakes are bound to be made when they made out of love.

The trio went from New York, back to Boston, with her attending school again at Harvard and Joseph taking classes in a variety of subjects before determining his major and Marco continuing his erotic drawing. All three are happy, until Marco sees someone watching Ashlyn, then the feral side of him returns, finding that someone from the Mafia is after them...but can he let the two people he loves the most in his life start worrying about the past, or will he handle the crisis himself...you will need to read the story to find out...I voluntariy read this book through an Advanced Reader Copy.

The final book in the trilogy that is JAM's story.

A quick, steamy action packed read! I almost wish it was longer and had more conflict and angst. But I'm also a sucker for the darker the better! ;)

For me, I still feel like Ashlyn and Joseph were the better couple. I thought it was sweet how this installment seemed to focus more on Marco's role in the threesome, but I did enjoy the epilogue and how it all came together.

Great job yet again, Julia Sykes!

This was an exciting story filled with deep emotion and unselfish devotion. And, I highly recommend it.

Fab Read!!

Be sure to start with book one and set aside some time because you won’t want to stop until all three books are done. These quick reads are a delight, well thought out and beautifully rewritten (Check out Julia’s site for the explanation as to why).

These stories make better sense as a trilogy as the characters come together. Two best friends that never water the mafia lifestyle they were born into and a young college girl that ends up falling for both. Fans new and old of Julia’s writing will love this series!

This is the third and final book in the Mafia Ménage Trilogy and it brings out the unexpected for this trio. I recommend reading the books in order as this is not a standalone. Marco, Ashlyn and Joseph thought that they were out of the woods when they relocated to Boston to start their lives. However, sometimes things are not what they appear and it seems as if a new player has entered the scene. How will the trio deal with this new threat? Overall, this is one steamy read that I wish was longer to really draw out the drama between the various parties.

Julia's third book of the trilogy, Theirs to Protect. The 1st love scene was a lot for me. Too much. But Julia Sykes isn't writing for 1 type of audience and there's many aspects of this book & series that I enjoyed. I love the dynamic of Ashlyn, Joseph and Marco's relationship. This book explored their new life in Cambridge and as they travel. Marco pulls away from Joseph & Ashlyn in an effort to protect them. It's really interesting & enjoyable to read about situations that make me uncomfortable. You definitely need to read the previous 2 books to follow this one.

Installment 3 pretty much picks up where #2 left off, but with danger—fun! This one’s a lot more fast-paced than the previous installments. Though continuity could be a bit tighter, it’s a quick, fun listen. These books work better as a complete trilogy than as individual reads, IMO.

Overall, not a bad trilogy. I could do without the DDLG aspect but you do you. I do recommend getting the complete set if you’re going to read or listen to any of them.

Goodness... just when you thought you were healing from not getting more of this trio, Julia drops a whole book on them again! I cannot get enough of these three. The dynamic of it all... is so enticing. The love and protection. The suspense. Makes you feel the feels and wonder if you’d want to be in a trio like Joseph, Ashlyn, and my favorite of the three... Marco. I say go ahead and pick up this book and get lost in their world again. You will not be disappointed.

I like how Julia dived more into Marco in this novel, I feel like a have a much more even perspective on the three lovers.

Thier passion is contagious and makes me think all the naughty things. I appreciated the scenery change and adventure aspect of this book. I love how doting and attentive Marco and Joseph are with Ashlyn, and the power dynamic between the three of them.

I enjoy how Julia's hero's are always so masculine and yet sensitive to the people they care about and for.

The action scenes had me on the edge on my seat! Marco, Joseph and Ashlyn finally thought they were going to be able to live the life they wanted. Until Ashlyn started getting stalked. The three men are determined to protect her but Ashlyn is no wilting wall flower and is going to care for them too, no matter what it takes.
Marco, Joseph, and Ashlyn are filled with dark chemistry ad passion.

Loved the triple narration of Michelle Price, Scott Rose and Zachary Zaba. Perfect.
