The Red Hat Society #1

The Red Hat Society's Domestic Goddess

Rate this book
Dear Friends,

I’ve been a homemaker all my life, though I prefer the term Domestic Goddess. Finally, after five years of widowhood, I’m ready to say farewell to housework and hello to travel and—dare I even hope?—romance. But now my two grown sons, cut loose by their women for the crime of messiness, need me here…drat! My brilliant solution? Kill two, make that three, birds with one stone by starting a Bachelor’s Survival Class for cleaning-challenged men taught by moi and my fellow Red Hat Society members. Sure, I thought I might meet someone new. I never dreamed I’d be smitten by the newly single man from a nearby condo. Now I need a refresher course in flirting, falling in love…and what to do if he breaks my heart.

Wish me luck!

Millie

Very funny book! 4 ladies live in the same area, get together and solve the world problems with a fantastic new recipe. One finds love next door, the other helps her son through marriage issues and I can't remember the other two stories. It's a fun read, that goes pretty quick and you'll get some yummy recipes out of it.

This was a most enjoyable read --- a tad or romance amongst the Red Hat Society’s ladies and fun with their families and expectation of family life! The characters were fun, the plot was well planned and carried out --- also had some great recipes in the back!
