Grave Danger

Cassie has just turned sixteen, and strange, disquieting things have started to she is exhausted all the time, no matter how much she sleeps; she has been seen around town late at night, dancing wildly — she is even accused of deserting her baby-sitting charges to go partying . . . yet Cassie swears she stayed with the children. Is there a mysterious double ruining her reputation and taking over her life? Cassie thinks she has the answer when one day she sees a portrait of Catherine Denning, an ancestor who looked just like her. Is Cassie being haunted by Catherine's ghost? She discovers that other girls in the family have died shortly after turning sixteen . . . and realizes that the ghost drove them to their deaths. Cassie is running out of time — unless she can lay Catherine to rest, the ghost will claim her life as well as the life of her younger sister. Can Cassie overcome this awesome power from beyond the grave, or is history destined to tragically repeat itself?

Read it in my teens and it was an instant favourite! Found it again in my adulthood on Amazon and had to get it!!! Read it again and it’s still one of my favourites. I only wish there were sequels!!! It has a bit of romance, a bit of the supernatural and a great pace! I could never put this down!!!!
