Solid book on doing business in China, though a little dated. Some of the stuff is pretty typical but there are a few nuggets in there that make this a good read if you're planning on doing business in China. But it's not a guide that needs to be referred to more than once. Check it out from a library.

not the best book, not the smartest book, not the most informative, BUT it is easy to read and doesn't drag, which i think is pretty darn good for a book named "doing business in china"

A meandering, weakly written book. Plafker clearly knows a lot about China, but this was a difficult book to get through without a lot of coffee.
