For over forty years, the Doctor has battled against the monsters and villains of the universe. This book brings together the best - and the worst - of his enemies, companions, and fellow Time Lords.
Why are the Daleks so deadly? What did Sarah Jane Smith do after she left the Doctor? Who exactly is the Master? And how did the Doctor defeated every threat, with a little help from some friends and a lot of luck.
Whether you read it on or behind the sofa, this book provides a wealth of information about the monsters and villains that have made Doctor Who the tremendous success it has been over the years, and the galactic phenomenon that it is today.
As someone who hasn't watched Whittaker's era, I appreciated that each part that discussed her season were marked with her rainbow colour sticker. I read later that it's because this book is a mix of three 12th era books with some additions from 13th, so it was to mark which parts are new. But it worked out for me.
Some have called me mad for reading what's essentially an encyclopaedia cover-to-cover, but to them I say don't care, didn't ask, plus CURSE OF RA 𓀀 𓀁 𓀂 𓀃 𓀄 𓀅 𓀆 𓀇 𓀈 𓀉 𓀊 𓀋 𓀌 𓀍 𓀎 𓀏 𓀐 𓀑 𓀒 𓀓 𓀔 𓀕 𓀖 𓀗 𓀘 𓀙 𓀚 𓀛 𓀜 𓀝 𓀞 𓀟 𓀠 𓀡 𓀢 𓀣 𓀤 𓀥 𓀦 𓀧 𓀨 𓀩 𓀪 𓀫 𓀬 𓀭 𓀮 𓀯 𓀰 𓀱 𓀲 𓀳 𓀴 𓀵 𓀶 𓀷 𓀸 𓀹 𓀺 𓀻 𓀼 𓀽 𓀾 𓀿 𓁀 𓁁 𓁂 𓁃 𓁄 𓁅 𓁆 𓁇 𓁈 𓁉 𓁊 𓁋 𓁌 𓁍 𓁎 𓁏 𓁐 𓁑 𓀄 𓀅 𓀆
This is an utter delight. It collects material from previous books in this series of pseudo-Doctor memoirs into one amazing volume, and then throws in extras...including post-it notes and addendums added by the 13th Doctor. This is the perfect balance of childhood glee and fans in touch with their old-school childhood glee. Just wonderful.
This is a great book full of a ton of details and different information relating to the doctor who series, it was a fun read as there's loads of different colours and sketches to keep you drawn in, there was a part where it went through companions and said Amy pond travelled with the 10th version of the doctor.....which is definately false... but other than that very informational 😄
Oh, what a journey!! This book is incredibly helpful to remember everything about the Doctor so far. From companions to several enemies, a manuscript is the best option to get prepared for the special episode in 2023!!
I appreciated how it went through the history of not just the newer reboot of the show, but also the original run of the show too giving people like myself who aren't as familiar with that some history and background.
Loved the layout of this. Set out like a diary this tells us basic information on all things doctor who from the different regenerations to the doctors most famous foes and enemies to the friends and companions who have travelled with him/her.
