Can a pirate truly be redeemed? Gareth Talbot is a captain for the MacAlpin and for all appearances, loves being a pirate. But when word gets back to him that someone is raiding the Scottish coastline using his name, Gareth vows revenge. He meets the beautiful Moira MacDougall, newly appointed chieftain of her clan after her father’s death. Her spirit enlivens his stagnant heart and he helps her and her clan. When his enemy causes devastation and death among her clan using his own name, Gareth works with Moira to bring down the man responsible. Will Gareth give his heart to feisty Moira, something he swore he'd never do or will he abandon her for the pirate life on the seas?

The Pirate’s Redemption is a great pirate adventure with a full cast of colorful characters and intrigue. I connected with Moira immediately. It was fun to revisit Wesley from The Pirate’s Jewel and to see him so happy. Gareth is the classic anti-hero and one I had a hard time figuring out. He’s jaded, puts on a brash show but when he’s alone with his thoughts, craves what Wesley has found, love. The romance between Gareth and Moira is slow-burning and took awhile to get going. Moira’s dialect is one I haven’t come across before. An original pirate romance with plenty of intrigue, adventure on the high seas and redemption. A solid addition to the Pirates of Britannia Connected World series.

💋💋

Many years ago Gareth lost his family , his Clan and his land , he became a pirate , working with MacAlpin the pirate King, the man saved him in a way , gave him a chance to make something of himself even if it wasn’t what he originally planned .
Now he’s in a position to help someone else .

Together with his friend Wesley ,they find themselves in Gilmar home of the MacDougalls , and aiding their chief Moira , a tough on the outside , unsure of herself on the inside , still finding her feet, Laird of a small clan under attack by and old enemy of Gareth’s, a disgraced English noble named Bridgeton .
All the while Gareth teaches Moira the best way to deal with her people, showing her in the most discreet way possible to keep her temper and show patience.

Now if Gareth and Moira can keep their minds on the job of rebuilding ,instead of on each other they may yet make it through.

A great story full of action from the first page , very addictive and enjoyable.

Can a pirate be redeemed? It might take a very strong, determined lass but it could happen! Another delightful addition to the Pirates of Britannia series, that never fails to grab my attention. Ruth Casie has spun a magical tale, with a ruthless man claiming to be another and looking for the "fire".
Having just taken the title of Laird to her small clan since her father had passed away, Moira was having a hard time getting the respect she needed.
When a cruel Englishman invades her village, taking the title of pirate, Gareth Talbot, she wants revenge, but first must secure her clan. When her friend Wesley comes and brings with him "Garath Talbot" it soon becomes evident the person that burned and killed in her clan village was trying to take his name.
Thus begins a fast paced adventure and she and Garath get to know each other and make their way to ask for help to restore all and help her people. Really enjoyed this book and looking forward to more from this amazing author!

Moira and Gareth are joined in a journey to save her clan and stop Bridgeton. An adventure story well worth reading

I had so much fun writing The Pirate's Jewel. I had never written a pirate story before. This one about Gareth and Moira was exciting to write. I didn't know it at the time, but their three sons, Hugh, Graham and Donald would be next writing challenge.

Moira MacDougall was not your ordinary Scottish lass. Her father, the former Laird of the Clan, had taught her everything he knew on how to guide their clan. She was the only child left to him, and after he was killed, she became the Chieftain. She had a circle of councilors that guided and question each move she made. This made her life uncomfortable and hard. When the village was raided by a man in the pretense of a notorious pirate named Gareth Talbot, she swears revenge for the deaths of her clan. The real Gareth Talbot is through with love, his heart broken and tattered. Embarrassed, he goes to sea and become a captain for MacAlpin, the Pirate King. Ruth A Casie has provided us with another wonderful pirate adventure where eliminating their enemy might lead to more that justice for the clan.

Moira MacDougall has recently inherited her place as clan chief after her father died. She’s strong and intelligent, but was struggling to keep her clan safe from the English warlord who’s raiding the burned villages. Gareth Talbot doesn’t trust woman anymore so he took to the high seas and become a captain for MacAlpin, the Pirate King. Gareth and his friend Wesley go to the village and offer to help put an end to the English raider was using Gareth’s name and he wanted revenge. Moira follows her destiny to lead her clan and guide them too safely to Laird Ewan. She and Gareth work hand in hand to capture the English raider and put a stop to his reign of terror and reclaim Gareth’s reputation. An excellent stories with wonderful characters I loved and I voluntarily wrote a review.

Greek Fire

Moira MacDougall was chieftain of her small clan at Gilman Manor. She was strong and intelligent, but was struggling to keep her clan safe as an English warlord raided and burned her village. Garett Talbots a seasoned warrior and pirate entered her village and pledged to help save her clan. The English raider was using Gareth’s name and he wanted revenge. The only chance they had was to use Moira’s secret weapon and destroy their ship. Gareth with an injured hand used all his skills to unleash the weapon of fire. Moira had actually saved Gareth from his wicked ways and his days of pirating was over. He had been REDEEMED!

Gareth Talbot is a pirate who prefers to be on land and has had a very unhappy past.
Moira MacDougall has recently inherited her place as clan chief.  She trained hard for it and is capable, even if she never really wanted it.
This is an exciting adventure.  Both our lead characters have to step up and take control and make hard decisions.
A very enjoyable read.
