Great Addition to the Series
I sure love this author’s work so when I had the opportunity to read this book I couldn’t pass it up. The Chicago Defiance MC is in Vegas trying to head off a wedding that could bring the club to war with the mafia. Viper also meets someone and boy do the sparks fly.
This book was fast paced and packed full of steam, surprises and plenty of action. I highly recommend this book.

Viper is one of a long line of MC presidents that came before him and he is trying to live up to their histories. When his VP goes rogue putting the club at risk for a change of happiness all roads lead to Vegas. Following him there, will Viper be able to salvage the situation and will he find a phoenix that will rise out of the ashes?
This was a sweet novella in the Chicago Defiance world that was a story featuring deception, misunderstandings, attraction, and lies. I loved the way that we got to know more about the characters as the story progressed and the way that the solution was solved which reminded us all that folks in an MC club can appear to be very rough and ready but they are as human as the rest of us. Easy to read and understand. Contains some sexual content.

I’ve been a fan of the Defiance MC series from day one and this newest installment is just as attention grabbing as the originals.
The next generation of the MC are doing it all their way and are finding their own happiness and place in their family business.
They are family and will always be there for each other no matter what the reason. Their loyalty to each other is even stronger then the original because they have been raised with each other and their bonds are as strong if not stronger then their parents.

I loved the original Chicago Defiance MC series and what a treat to have the next generation with Viper, aka Beau, as the president and his cousin, Vex, as the vice president.
Viper has something mysterious about him that I have to admit I did predict what it was but I think we were meant to do so. He is very new to his job as the leader of the MC, luckily he has his father there to help guide him, after all he was the president for many years before stepping down and handing the reins over to his son. It’s not an easy task and he quickly discovers this too. It’s only natural for him to question his ability to lead.
Amber is a sassy, confident and strong young woman. She certainly calls a spade a spade and I love that about her. I also like the way she can admit when she’s wrong too. She is great for Viper as she shares her insights, which are helpful.
The other underlying issue causing concern for the club is the possibility of a war between the mafia and itself after years of peace. Things get very heated but the solution to the immediate problem comes from an unexpected source. I love surprises in a story.
My only complaint about this great little fast-paced story is that it isn’t long enough, I need more Defiance MC to sate my fix. I look forward to reading more stories in this generation—I hope!

Loved it! Short, sweet and to the point. Just when you think you know what's gonna happen, bam the monkey wrench arrives.
Viper and Ember are string wonderful characters that you'll root for and fall in love with. Must read!

Loving this series and author! These books hook you in straight away. I’m so excited to see where Ember and Viper’s story go! With Viper struggling with his diabetes and Ember quitting her job - how will things turn out when Ember moves back with Viper?

As far as novella size books go, this one had a lot to say.
We caught up with the older generation, got to see the new guys in their roles AND saw a war start and end - oh and let's not forget the guy gets his girl.

One of my favorite things are series that become generational. I absolutely love the original Defiance MC and this peek at the next generation is everything I hoped it would be. They are the perfect mix of daring, danger, love and loyalty. This short story is packed full of emotions and readers should definitely expect the unexpected.

I loved going back to visit Chicago Defiance. This time we get to see the kids stepping into their rolls in the mc and I loved every minute of it. I can't wait to see what happens next as all these families are mixing together and what that means for the future.

Oooh wow its the second generation Viper son of Torque and Foxy is now the pres along with Vex his VP son of Trax and Sparx.
What has Vex done especially when they find a letter from him saying his gone to Vegas with Izzy will there be a war between them and the Andrettis for this.

Really enjoyed hearing about the next generation whilst making sure the previous generation who we’ve all come to know and love still play a part.

The last book before this one I said it was the last book of the series but the author threw in a short little novela. It was hot, sexy and over the top. Guess this is leading into the next part of this MC. It's not "Vengeance" but love.

A great novella
I've loved the Chicago Defiance MC series from the beginning, as well as the other chapters of Defiance MC. It's a fantastic series that you won't want to miss.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and author.

Love Viper and Ember’s story. A wonderful surprise to be back in Chicago with my favorite MC!!! No disappointments here…same exciting, edge of your seat ride!!! A definite must read♥️♥️

This is a short and sweet introduction to the next generation of The Chicago Defiance MC. Not quite as raw and gritty as the originals to be honest, however it was enjoyable and an easy read.

Perfect addition to the series! Shorter than the main stores but still packs a punch. Viper has a lot in his plate normally as President but even more so when his VP puts the club as risk.
