One Night To Forever was everything! Sienna and Jabari did not disappoint. They brought the sexy, the sizzle, and the romance. Their unexpected one night stand led to more than either of them expected. I love how their feelings for each other developed naturally and organically. There was a small hiccup when Jabari found out Sienna was a stripper but, other than that, their story was pretty much angst free. I have to say, I was expecting more drama from Samantha and Jeremy. Jeremy was on the cusp of becoming a stalker and Samantha wasn't too far behind him. I really wish the author had played that part of the storyline up more. But, other than that, One Night To Forever was a terrific read. I hope this isn't the end for the Parker sisters. I'd love an update book on them. Perhaps a wedding is in Sienna and Jabari's future?!!!
This book was everything from beginning to end!! Sienna was my girl and jay good lordt!!! Those steamy scenes Jesus!!! The story was good and it was good to see Dax and savannah!! When it came out he was petty and in his feelings!! Forgiveness is everything and I love them together!! Monae Girllllllll you did this!!!
This author never disappoints with her hot and steamy love scenes. Jabari wasn’t expecting Sienna to steal the one piece of him he wasn’t offering, his heart. Interesting storyline, different a quick pace insta-Love with some nastiness to get you hot and ready. I enjoyed the story overall
This is my first read by this author. Enjoyed the storyline and these characters. I love Sienna and Jabari together. Their chemistry was an instant attraction, it was sexual and flirty. Neither of them was looking for love, but they were made for each other. Their one night lead to a love forever. Highly recommend this standalone. Great job Monae Nicole.
I love how their feeling develop naturally in this book. Jabari was stubborn and so was Sienna. You felt their chemistry and wanted them to just get it together. This book is a must read. It’s sexual, flirty and also takes you on the journey of what one night can lead to. Great read!
Mrs. Nicole I was anticipating this novel and you delivered it. Sienna and Jabari's story was quite entertaining for lack of a better phrase. Those two had a couple of speed bumps, but they managed to skate pass them. Both of their exes tried to drive a wedge in their budding relationship. Jabari's ex was more disrespectful than Sienna. When Sienna said this, “Jeremy, I have to go give my fish a bath," I thought I would crack a rib. 🤣🤣 The exes finally got the picture and moved around. The way their love started was just a night of "pleasure," that blossomed into a garden of flowers. 💐 I loved how Mrs. Nicole developed their love by letting it grow. It made the storyline more realistic. Jabari exemplified the saying "the right woman a man will change for." Sienna personality and loving pulled Jabari right out of his bachelor ways.
This is a magnificent read, and you will enjoy it from the first page to the last. You get updates on Dax and Savannah. Their relationship is still going strong. I always love when an author do a spin-off from a previous book and include the couple that started the romance. Mrs. Nicole the fact you let Sienna and Savannah experience motherhood at the same time just strengthen their sisterhood even more. I highly suggest you download and enjoy this book. By the way I am team lilac, purple is my color. 🏵️
Sienna was the baby sister to Savannah from the previous book. She was a free spirit that did what made her happy. Jabari turned out to be someone that made her happy. After initially connecting at her sister's wedding she tried to avoid him because she felt like she could fall for him. Jabari aka Jay was up for chasing Sienna down because what he felt was worth pursuing. Despite random exes popping up all was well until it wasn't. Jay was a good dude. He was a good friend and had a great relationship with his parents. He didn't do many relationships and his last one broke his heart. Things were going well with Si until his insecurities from his previous relationship clouded his judgement and had him acting childish. An unexpected turn of events helps them get back on track and working together.
The characters were believable. I loved Sienna’s strength and self-esteem. I was glad we didn’t have another “ women’s feelings get hurt by man’s reaction so she deprives him and the baby of having a relationship until he accidentally discovers he’s a father” storyline. Sienna was mature about the situation. Not clingy and definitely not weak. Loved it. I just wish the mini storylines were fleshed out more and not tied up with just a sentence after being mention as if they were similar important to the story; especially Sienna’s ex. The introduction of him made so the simple tie up at the end seemed like an after thought or a way of hurrying up and getting him out of there.
Whew Lawd these two were stubborn as hell! 😂 But, that chemistry was hot! Jay and Sienna's one night turned them both out! I loved how Sienna was so free and owned everything that she did, not caring what anyone had to say about it. Jay was that sexy man with doggish ways, but being with Sienna made all that come to a screeching halt! That back and forth between them was crazy, and I was so glad when they finally made an effort to communicate better. They really were good together when they weren't fighting. Loved catching up with Savannah and Dax, and seeing their love continue to flourish. Good job! 👍👍👍
Not exactly what i was expecting from reading the blurb. This book moved really fast and there wasn’t much detail provided. I wanted more into Sierra’s life as an exotic dancer and Jay getting so upset confused me a bit since we didn’t get a backstory early on concerning his relationship Samantha leading to his disdain for strippers. Also, I thought we were gonna see more from Samantha since she showed up so boldly and sent the rude message. It seemed like that was just a placeholder because we didn’t agent a resolution. I’m usually on board with books from this author but this book totally missed the mark for me
If I could give this book 30 stars, I would!!! This book has been sitting in my to read list and I didn't realize it was the spin off to You're Mine until I started reading, and oh what a great surprise this read turned out to be. Si & Jabari were just living life and doing them to the fullest until they crossed paths with the right amount of alcohol involved;) This book flowed perfectly with humor, flirty quips, boldness and real life situations. I appreciated the happily ever after that did not immediately jump to a wedding, and I LOVE the dudes seeking advice from each other and their fathers!
“One Night To Forever” was a great read. However, Jabari (Jay) was a hypocrite! “Shooting up the club” but had the audacity to inquire about the special guess! Men!, their double standards & pride🤨🤦🏾♀️‼️…Also, you can only get an response to a question Jabari. You never asked Sienna what was her occupation nor did you volunteer your experiences with strippers. Jabari & Sienna share culpability in miscommunications. Thereafter, these two (Si & Jay) have undeniable chemistry 🤭. A Vegas Proxy turned Texas Bae & momma. …Who would have thought one night would lead to forever? Cute‼️
This was a nice quick read. It tells the story of Sienna and Jabari and how they became to be together. These characters were introduced in a prior work by this author but it is a standalone book. There were some obstacles they had to overcome to be together and at some points they were acting a little childish but they came together and agreed that for the relationship to work they had to communicate better which is true in real life relationships too. There could have been a little more character development for me but overall it was a nice romance story with some spiciness too.
This was another great story by Monae…Jabari did not come to play with Sienna. She tried to play it cool but girl good “D” is hard to come back 🤣. I think not omitting her secret was not a good act, and the way Jabari carried it without being fully honest about his past was wrong. But I am glad they both got it together because babyyyy Jabari and Sienna together was crazy hot 🥵
Sigh! I feel the same way I felt about the other book “you’re mine”. This was a little less cringy, just a little. But at this point it’s my fault. I see a book, I start reading it, I realize I don’t like it but I keep reading anyway. And when I get to the end I get mad at myself. Why? For wasting my time.
I am trying to read only Black Romance books, but my experience reading this book and “you’re mine” (by the same author) was rough. I keep telling myself to take a break. I need a break.
This is a great book for a person who live their lives unapologetically. I enjoyed the journey of couples who learns to communicate and also showing growth and change in life. I like how the author dealt with past hurt in relationships.
It's not long and drawn out so I am ready to read more😊
Queen Monae did a great job with this spin-off/follow up for "you're mine". Jay & Sienna started off on a drunken night and she straight ghosted him after🤣. These two and their shenanigans were none stop, from their pretending they're not fooling around, to the hook-ups, exes popping up on them. I really loved the update for Dax & Sav❤
Such A Sweet Story. It Was Nice Getting An Update On Dax And Sav. But Si Is My Girl She Is So Confident And Wild But Controlled. I Love That Jay Was The One That Was In His Feelings Trying To Do Whatever To Make Sienna Happy Because It’s Usually The Lady Doing All Of The Emotional Stuff. They Are A Cute Couple And I Love Their Love.
This was just a beautiful from start to finish. I was not sure how it was going to play out once he left the strip club. And then when she finally broke the news to him. I was like o my word. What he gone do now. But I am so happy they worked it all oy UT in the end. Never let your past destroy your future.
Can you only imagine one night turning into forever? Yep that’s exactly what happen Jay and Sienna took that leap and blossom into something beautiful. Nothing is never prefect but you got always communicate and I’m so glad they understood one another and made things work!
I loved this book. I randomly chose it because I liked the softness of the cover and I’m very happy I did. I’m one who loves details and though this book wasn’t filled to the brim with details there was enough to keep me intrigued.
Very good job. I liked this couple together, even with their stubbornness.
The story sucked me in at some points, which is good. I admittedly almost stopped reading a couple of times due to not enjoying the writing, overall. The dialogue didn't read smoothly or authentic to me, there wasn't a lot of character development and it just read flat to me, unfortunately. But regardless, I was intrigued enough to finish and see what happened.
So happy to read the continuation yet new addition of the Parker sister's. Sienna and Jay did not disappoint. That scene at the bbq had me all hot cause baby it was steamy lol. I loved their story. Jabari had some issues he needed to work through and Si needed to be honest but when the time was right they got their act together. So glad we got to hear about Savannah and Dax as well,
Sienna and Jay are just what each other needed. Love that they got it together and now have created a family with each other. Of I love that Dax and Sav were very included in this book but didn't take over. They also are still very much in love and have a new son as well.
While this was a cute lil story, it was missing something for me. It moved super fast & lacked substance to me. I wanted more about Sienna being a stripper & maybe even a convo between her & Sav about telling her new potential boo about what she do. As well as I didn't understand the point of Jabari moving from Houston to Austin. I also felt like Jabari BDE wasn't coming across. He honestly seemed small time compared to Dax lol. All in all, this was a decent read, but the chemistry for these two just fell so flat. I'm still happy that everything worked out. & I also loved the name for their daughter. It was the perfect mixture of Sienna & Jabari 🥰
