This was an interesting short story and I did enjoy it. I understand it’s a short story so you don’t get the full details you would with a regular book, but I think it would’ve been better with just a little more details on the main characters. It was hard for me to get a full picture of them in my head. Otherwise I was shocked by the ending. Honestly that was not anywhere near what I was expecting the “group” to be involved in. For those of you who enjoy the short stories in the horror/paranormal category, then you’ll want to read this book.
The book managed to keep my attention for the 30 pages. It was ok, just really not my type. 🤷🏼♀️ I won it in a Goodreads giveaway in exchange for an honest review.
Well, I'm not quite sure what I just read. It seems that there are a group of people who seem to get jobs robbing places/houses. When they find out about an opportunity in Florida at a plantation they run to it.
This books had such build up and then it just took a sharp left to a screeching halt. It had great potential but it just didn't quite get there for me.
Near the beginning the characters were stressing me out just as much as they were stressing each other out. I did not see the ending coming, either. Very creepy overall. (I received this book for free through a Goodreads Giveaway)
