I read this entire series when I was little, and have just re-read them with my daughter and we both just adore these books. If you have a reader in 2nd-6th grade, these are wonderful. It's a nice break from all of the sci fi, fairy, princess books going around. Great values, darling stories, very down to earth.

This book is a sweet read filled with stories from the past all with a lesson to be learned and pointed back to Christ in the end.

One of my very favorite read aloud series for boys or girls! I enjoyed these as a child and love the old fashioned values and humor!
