While on the job the words ‘royal’ and ‘cock up’ near biblical proportions, and with bits of people everywhere, a van he can’t start, and with an idiot savant in tow, Reed worries that this might all end up with him on the wrong end of a cheese grater.

An awesome and totally stomach-churning addition to the Smalls family saga. Reed Smalls is having an extremely challenging night. Kidnapping, murder, fighting in a tiny office filled with body parts and an abhorrent odor; Reed has his hands full. Thankfully, he has Larry the Mop to help him keep things together. Or apart. Don't make Reed angry. And definitely don't call him Wasphead. Ask Jimmy Two Cocks. While he still has one.

The fourth installment of Ash Ericmore's Small's Family series features Reed (Wasphead) doing a job that gets botched in the most hilarious and disgustingly vile ways possible. Just like the others in this series, the writing is excellent and the gross-outs are gross, these books are just a good time all around.

Reed is the fourth of the Smalls brothers we’ve had the pleasure of meeting, and it could be argued that he might just be the most unstable and disorganized of the bunch.
In Wasphead, we discover a man who prides himself on a certain level of decorum and a pretense of organization and planning, but he is clearly quite lousy at formulating and executing a plan. With the help of his recently adopted associate, Reed Smalls takes on a risky, high profile job that stands to put him in direct conflict with a local crime boss. Thankfully, for us, nothing goes even remotely according to plan. As the story progresses to a messy, fluid-drenched, and dismembered conclusion, we can only hope to hold on for the ride.
Reed might be my least favorite of the Smalls brothers we’ve met so far, based on personality alone, but his misadventure is no less captivating than the previous three. The fact that this character is so starkly different from the others we’ve encountered is an excellent display of how thoroughly diverse in their disfunctionality the Smalls brothers are. I can’t even begin to imagine what’s coming next.

This was probably the most depraved of the series so far. Great intense read. I hope the smalls series comes to paperback .

I was so happy to get the next installment in The Smalls Family Series (also glad I was late to the game, as I didn't have long to wait!) These books each tell the brutal, humorous story of a different Smalls brother....I don't know how many brothers there are, but I'm hoping for at least a football teams worth!)
I absolutely love Ash's style of writing, the short, sharp sentences make it more tense and dramatic I feel! Admittedly, when I first read Ash's stuff, I was a bit unsure of this, but after about a chapter, I got used to it and now wouldn't want it any other way!! It's perfect for The Smalls!!
I feel this one was the most brutal and gross yet....if each story continues to get more horrific than the last then we are all in for a horribly wild ride, and I, for one, cannot wait!
I also have a fantastic new swear...."Fucking Fucktrumpet Cumbubbles!!" 😂 I'm gonna try it out at work later!! 🤘😉🤘

Damn Reed is just a little crazy.... I guess don't even whisper Wasphead cuz damn you will regret it. This series is just full of brutality but it is also very funny or maybe I just have a messed up sense of humor😆😆. Damn I love this series it's quickly becoming one of my favorites. Onto the next member in this crazy family.

This series just keeps getting better and better! The subject matter and style of violence is a bit harsher than the other entries, but the dark comedy keeps things light hearted. The Smalls brothers are not a group to be messed with, and Wasphead especially! Don’t let him catch you calling him that, or you’ll see exactly how he got his nickname.

I swear this series just keeps getting more intense and more brutal as it goes. Reed accepts a job from Jimmy figuring it will be easy. Nothing goes as planned and Reed finds himself in a real mess. I can’t wait to meet the next brother.

Let’s start with one of my most anticipated releases this month Ash Ericmore’s fourth installment of The Small’s Family, Wasphead.
I really hope Reed doesn’t read this because he HATES the nickname Wasphead and trust me when I say, you do not want to piss off this or any other Small’s brother.
In this installment, Reed is tasked with sending a message from one tog dog to another, in the form of hurting his daughter. With Lawrence, The Mop, as his sidekick, shenanigans ensue that cause a lot of blood, sweat, and bleach. I mean, tears. Actually I mean both. This one is BRU-TAL. But absolutely hilarious at the same time. The way Ericmore writes this sack of farts characters were you actually like and laugh along with them amazes me.
Only 30 more days until the next installment!

Now we move on to Reed Smalls, and oh man, was I excited. The story involves what should be a simple attack at night, turning into murder and kidnapping. Reed ends up accompanying Lawrence, who is very inexperienced and almost blows the whole operation. Forcing Reed to take serious action to control the situation, this story is very intense and a little nerve-racking, mostly because I have a bit of a soft spot for the Small’s boys now after reading the whole set. When everything starts to go sideways, it seems Lawrance comes in very handy when he has a chance to think. But the entire scenario is both insanely funny and gross at the same time. Again the violence and details in each scene are brilliantly written, and I honestly can't get enough of the story.
The final instalment of this collection blended in so well with the other three and left me wanting more. I'd love to see what became of them all and how their dilemmas affect them in the future.

I'm loving this series so far. They may only be short stories, but they are packed with all the e extreme brutal violence one could muster in a full blown novel. This was just the same, different storyline but same violence from a member of the Smalls family. If the four I have read about so far are anything to go , I can't imagine what the would be like together in any bother. A great, fascinating, fast paced read that k keeps you glued to every page. Even rereading the sentence to make sure you read it right. Highly recommended.

This one had so many twists it made me dizzy! From a lowlife turned protégé to a ‘crippling’ job turning into kidnapping, framing, and a lot of bleach… like, a LOT of bleach. Ash Ericmore is so full of creative kills, I feel like he should write them for Hollywood! His immersive descriptions put you right there in the action, seeing and feeling—and sometimes smelling and tasting—the violence and gore!

This one fell a little flat on story for me. However the disgusting descriptions were redeeming. I also enjoyed the dynamics between the characters.
