This author is completely new to me
Wow…. That’s all I can say right now
This book was intoxicating to read from start to finish.

K I can’t lie, I was so freakin excited to find out more about Calix & Thalia after reading Dreams of the Vengeful
Six mafia families ruled the city

To keep the hierarchy amongst the families. They trade it off the females at a young age., amongst the families
(Contract marriage) most were too young of age to know what was going on, until they came of age.
So basically, to wed them and breed them. To create the next generation of Leaders in their families
He was 13 when they first met. She was only 5. They created a friendship amongst each other, That would last a lifetime.
Calix was Thalia’s protector and hero until something happened in their lives that changed it forever.
He will stop at nothing to return to her side and protect her, In every way possible from the evil in the darkness.
K my reason for only giving 4 stars
I am just like any other red-blooded woman who enjoys reading about a dominant sexy alpha. Honestly, I really didn’t have any issues with Calix except for possibly the force pregnancy issue. once he explained himself, I was somewhat understanding to his logic……. Mind you I didn’t agree with his logic, but I understood where he was coming from
As Thalia I struggled with her character for a while. Due to the fact that. Midway through the book, she. In my view, she seemed to be somewhat of a spoiled Insulin child throwing, tantrums……… I did find Thalia to be quite indecisive to when she liked Calix. One minute she was infatuated and next she hated him. So I got a bit of whiplash from her mood swings
By the end of this installment. You’ll wonder who has the darkness in them and who has the light. Or do they both have, Equal amount amongst them.

Seeing this appearing on my numerous feeds it didn’t take me long to 1click it, new to me author, dark, gritty, throw in some swoon worthy moments and I was all in, this is exactly how a mafia book should be written, I didn’t just fall in love with the hero but also the heroine who suited him perfectly.
This ticked so many boxes, from the romance between them, to the darkness they had to embrace as a solidified front. These two fell in love before they truly understood the meaning of the word.
I loved reading of their contracted marriage, of something so wrong becoming something so right in the world where they knew no different. He offered protection at all costs even from afar. This threw up so many feels.
Super excited to read the next book in this series!

I was so excited to find out more about Calix & Thalia after reading some other books by Adelaide Forrest and this did not disappoint. In fact, Calix may be one of my favorite heroes by this author thus far. Is he still crazy and obsessive and very demanding and controlling? Yes. But did he also create a home that is tailored to his bride and make up for lost time? Also yes!
There is just something that will ALWAYS speak to me when a hero is literally ready to bring down the world for his woman. Calix is already trying to do that as a young teen even before he has feelings of desire for Thalia. From the day that he is promised to her through the marriage contract, he goes out of his way to protect and watch out for her. Leading to some disastrous consequences I might add.
I also want to say that I am really intrigued to see where Thalia will end up by the end of this duet. She may seem like a broken and worn out girl. Barely able to get through every day, but she has some fire in her belly and seeing that fire peak through is so validating.
It will come to no surprise that Forrest has a whole host of "Sminky" things to share with us, so check out the authors note, but those are some of the things I like best about her books. How far the hero will go and how steamy it can get. There are no holds barred and it is gonna get crazy.
I can't wait for the next installment.

I'm sure you're all sick of my two stars read lately just like I do.
Anywayyy..... I didn't like it. Characters-wise and plot-wise. There's not much happening outside of their banging each other out. Then, when there's a little bit of plot coming in, it was underdeveloped and not making much sense. Also, our colourblind heroine, freaking annoyed the hell out of me.

The way their relationship stared was unique and unusual. And was wondering how the author would manage to make them evolve into the adult-version where we can get the Romance and all the good stuff.

I'm not too sure what it was but most of the things that happened that were supposed to be shocking just came off a bit cringe to me. The author tried a little bit too hard to be 'edgy', in my opinion.
From a young age, Thalia(5) had been promised to Calix(13) to unite their family. Calix quickly felt protective of his fiancée-to-be, taking his role seriously and trying to save her from the abuse she suffered at home. That was until Calix's dad did something that broke the union between them and had his whole family banished from the city, leaving poor Thalia with an abusive father and step-mother. A few years later, now that she is of age, she is promised to another contendant. What she doesn't know is that Calix always looked out for her from a distance, working on a plan to save her from her family and also, to marry her himself, like it was always supposed to be.
I think for the most part, I liked Calix. What can I say? Alpha males who just take what they want is my jam! I liked how protective and possessive he was of Thalia. I didn't really mind his forcefulness but I see where some people might be bothered by it. I think in a way, everything about him was done right but his deviousness felt a bit forced in the writing. I guess I would've liked him to be a bit of a stoic quiet dark force rather than a cocky show off. I don't know how to explain it. It just didn't feel natural.
And Thalia...This girl was so annoying to me. She had to witness horrors at such a young age and I did feel sorry for her, of all the pain she had to endure at the hand of her own family. I just really didn't like how unreasonable she was all the time. After Calix got banished, she dreamt for so long for him to come save her, and when he finally does it, she's complaining that it took so long. Like, this guys worked for years to gain the power to achieve saving her and this girl is ungrateful. She whined and complained and pushed and pulled and really didn't know what she wanted. Some things that she said really bugged me like: ''One day, I might risk his[Calix] wrath to test his limits and toy with another man just to irritate him.'' Good idea, cause seeing your own mother getting beheaded by your father's hand for cheating when you were only 7 wouldn't traumatize you at all. Her behavior was very odd and rebellious in a way that wasn't natural. I just...I really didn't like her. She was stupid.
I didn't really sense the chemistry between the two. The sex scenes were somewhat nice but because of the lack of chemistry I just wasn't much into them. As for the dark aspect of the story, it fell a bit flat. There was no build-up, no tension, and it was just violent for the sake of being violent. I just didn't care much for the characters, didn't fear for their life, didn't really understand all that hatred towards Thalia from her family, didn't get why Calix wanted Thalia so much, etc.
There was potential and to be honest, I was quite into it when the story began, showing how the two main characters met. Once they became adult, it seemed to me that their connection lost some of its depth. There was no passion or anything that really made me root for them. Something else that was kind of a miss for me was how the author didn't develop around Neri's diary (Thalia's mother). We never get to know what secrets was in it. My guess is that it will play a part in the second book but I mean, I think the author missed her opportunity here to build an intrigue around the diary. And I can tell for sure that if she'd done that here, I would actually be looking forward to the next book.

Would I recommend this book? Hmmmm.. It wasn't bad per se. I think it had some good bits, but I was looking for a story that would keep me on edge, which it failed to do. Oh my God I love this book. Callix is without a doubt my favourite Adelaide Forrest love interest. The way he treats Thalia made me swoon every single chapter!
I mean the man literally re-decorates her house in monochrome colours because she’s colour blind. He buys her an entire new wardrobe in black and white and grey because he doesn’t want her to worry about her clothes not matching. And he labels every single piece of clothing describing the exact shade and material of the clothes. He even tells her his eyes are grey even though they’re not so that she won’t feel like she’s missing out on anything. I DIE!!!!!!

4.75 - 5 stars!
Dreams of the Deadly is the first book in the Massacred Dreams series and features Calix and his queen, Thalia. It is full of panty melting heat, action and suspense and moments of true passion and pain. It was a really well written story that had me glued to the pages!
Calix has to be my favorite hero from Forrest so far. He is single minded in his obsession of Thalia and his plan to save her has been years in the making. Thalia has had a lot taken from her, including Calix. But Calix is finally back to take back what he considers his, to right the wrongs and show Thalia there is nothing he wouldn’t give her or do for her.
Calix is my favorite type of alpha male - he’s ruthless, violent, possessive and dominant. In their coupling, he seeks Thalia’s willing submission but beyond their relationship he needs her and encourages her to stand with him as his equal.
Calix does everything to show Thalia the crown she should have upon her head and the raw power she wields. His loyalty to Thalia and the life they will build is swoon worthy and hits you straight in the heart. Calix knows Thalia like she is part of him and revels in knowing all her secrets. I LOVE the adoration and love he has for Thalia and the lengths he’s willing to go to cause chaos and lay the carnage of her enemies at her feet to do with as she pleases. These two are sure to be a power couple and I can’t wait to see Thalia come into herself with Calix by her side. A Persephone to his Hades.
Thalia, despite the years of abuse she endured, is not a wilting and submissive woman. She may think herself broken but she is so far from it. Thalia only needed the right push and incentive to see there is so much right at her fingertips. I loved her and all her moments of uncertainty. The way she is falling for the new Calix is intimate and exciting and I love that she gives her whole self to no one but Calix. It made their marriage and love so passionate and unique. She has a loyal nature like Calix but I have a feeling she will be just as vengeful and blood thirsty as Calix, if not more. Thalia is going to rise from the ashes of her past like a phoenix and burn everyone to the ground. And I am here for it.
This ends on a cliffhanger but not a terribly bad one and this also contains the prequel to their story that follows the years that Calix was taken from Thalia and the abuse she survived at the hands of her family. Dreams of the Deadly is the first book in the Massacred Dreams series and features Calix and his queen, Thalia. It is full of panty melting heat, action and suspense and moments of true passion and pain. It was a really well written story that had me glued to the pages!
“I married you because you’re mine, Thalia. Nothing matters beyond that. Nothing.”
Calix has to be my favorite hero from Forrest so far. He is single minded in his obsession of Thalia and his plan to save her has been years in the making. Thalia has had a lot taken from her, including Calix. But Calix is finally back to take back what he considers his, to right the wrongs and show Thalia there is nothing he wouldn’t give her or do for her.
“They took me from you,” he said, his jaw clenching as if it irritated him that he even had to explain himself to me. “So I became the man I needed to be to find my way back.”
Calix is my favorite type of alpha male - he’s ruthless, violent, possessive and dominant. In their coupling, he seeks Thalia’s willing submission but beyond their relationship he needs her and encourages her to stand with him as his equal.
“She’d understand that true ownership of her body would come when she surrendered it, not from a man who demanded it without ever earning that submission from her.”
“This is your chance to give consent. This is your chance to tell me you trust me with your body, and if you can’t do that then it all stops until you can. It’s all or nothing with me, Little One. The choice is yours.”
Calix does everything to show Thalia the crown she should have upon her head and the raw power she wields. His loyalty to Thalia and the life they will build is swoon worthy and hits you straight in the heart. Calix knows Thalia like she is part of him and revels in knowing all her secrets. I LOVE the adoration and love he has for Thalia and the lengths he’s willing to go to cause chaos and lay the carnage of her enemies at her feet to do with as she pleases. These two are sure to be a power couple and I can’t wait to see Thalia come into herself with Calix by her side. A Persephone to his Hades.
“I remember every word I ever said to you. I slaughtered an entire church full of people to keep that promise. You would do well to remember that, because if you doubt everything else you’ve ever been told about me, never question that I am a man of my word, Little One. Thalia, despite the years of abuse she endured, is not a wilting and submissive woman. She may think herself broken but she is so far from it. Thalia only needed the right push and incentive to see there is so much right at her fingertips. I loved her and all her moments of uncertainty. The way she is falling for the new Calix is intimate and exciting and I love that she gives her whole self to no one but Calix. It made their marriage and love so passionate and unique. She has a loyal nature like Calix but I have a feeling she will be just as vengeful and blood thirsty as Calix, if not more. Thalia is going to rise from the ashes of her past like a phoenix and burn everyone to the ground. And I am here for it.
This ends on a cliffhanger but not a terribly bad one and this also contains the prequel to their story that follows the years that Calix was taken from Thalia and the abuse she survived at the hands of her family. A great storyline that moves quickly and has tons of twists, turns, and newly uncovered secrets to keep you hooked to the end. Fantastic characters! Calix is the hero that we all want to see when we pick up an Adelaide Forrest read - or any dark romance read. He's over the top jealous and possessive, completely obsessed and has been since they were kids, and he will literally burn her enemies to the ground and give her their heads. There is no line he won't cross and he brings his manipulation A game, lol. Thalia is also everything I love to see in a heroine. Not a pushover, kinda angry, but has a gooey inside for the people who are important to her. Life has taught her to not trust easily and she totally makes Calix work for it. The chemistry is fantastic and their smexy times will light your kindle up. Super ramped up to read the conclusion to their story!

The most impressive thing about this book is how the author managed to take a book with such potential and absolutely ruin it.
First, the novella has a lot going on, then In the book the biggest conflict is that he’s trying to force her to be pregnant and she just been abused and controlled her whole life so she doesn’t exactly want a child. When she asks a body guard she trust to help her get birth control the main dude fucks her. now it’s not by force because he has made it clear she doesn’t get a say in when they fuck and she’s his property. So do with that information what you will. Also the main dude installed cameras in her room and just watched her for 12 years. Which is the least bad thing this man did but it’s still very weird d.

I was blown away by the novella, but the full length of this story was magnificent.
If you are looking for the following I think you will love this
- very dark mafia romance
- a FMC learning and embracing her own power
- some effed up family drama
For me personally this one hit all the balances between a dark mafia romance and a lot of suspense/world building for what would happen as we move forward. I loved how the ending also wasn't a cliffhanger and I am beyond excited for the sequel.

If there’s one thing I hate it’s unbelievably sexist books that are literally 95% misogynistic scenes and statements where the love interest’s thought process is literally: “I have to punish you because you don’t want to get pregnant. Being a woman you’re weak and your opinion doesn’t really matter because you’re stupid and can’t understand. But I ‘love’ you and ‘treat you well’ so it’s all right.”, that for some reason end with the female main character being a “queen”.
STOP BEING SO INCOHERENT. This book was seriously so contradictory it became ATROCIOUS.
No, no, no. I hated this. It was badly written, boring, shallow, full of romanticised blatant SEXISM, flat and unbelievably badly written characters, Greek-in-Philadelphia-for-some-reason?, and just so much stupidity from the characters.

-DEVOTION ❤️ this is the best word that I feel describes how Calix feels for Thalia. He is utterly devoted to her.

Honestly this plot was amazing. I loved the whole concept of their chairs and underground system. Pricking your finger on the needle located in the arm of the chair for the floor to open up so you cannot stand to leave during a meeting – so cool and unique to the mafia romances I have read.
Calix being absolutely obsessed and unhinged with Thalia is the kind of MC I look forward to in these kinds of romance. He genuinely loves her and it’s not just his obsession, but he FEELS – he is not scared to make her his queen and get on his knees for her to do anything she requests. He listens to her and actually gives a shit about her well being and it’s not a ploy to get something from her but it all stems from protection and devotion.
He has always been protective of her ever since the agreement was signed when he was 13 and Thalia was 5 for them to marry – however it is noted multiple times he does not have any sexual/imitate feelings for her until she is of age.
They both grew up with horrible fathers and a system that never worked on nurturing their children. Thalia was subjected to endless abuse from her father and step mother. Nobody batted an eye, and nobody tried to help her. Calix would have if his dad was not the cause of their family being banished and Calix losing all his power to protect the girl he swore to never harm. Oh boy does he come back with a vengeance to eliminate everyone who has caused her harm in any way.
I am glad we did not have to go through the phase where the H was cold and brooding. Always horrible in his treatment of the h but instead we got COMMITMENT right from the beginning. I also love that he is not afraid of having anyone (friends, enemies, family etc) know how much he loves her and cherishes her despite her being his only weakness.
I do fear that what he did to Christian will come back to haunt them? He was MIA after the hand incident so I have a fear he might turn on Calix in book 2. I did love seeing Rafe pre-Isa in this book and how Calix said that once he gets her he will understand.
That ending – they can be unhinged together. Hades and Persephone (what a fitting title).

"What color are your eyes?" Thalia asked suddenly, tilting her head to the side as that curiosity leaked back into her face. I blinked back my impending rage, staring down at her as a smile curved my lips up. "Gray." She grinned at me, all full lips and big teeth, instantly reminding me of why she liked white flowers. She didn't have to feel like she was missing out on the color, and for one rare moment, she could look at something and know she saw it for what it was.

My little dark romance-loving heart is giddy with this one! Just when I think I can't love an Adelaide Forrest Hero more, she finds a way to top the last one! I have patiently awaited Calix and Thalia's stories since first reading about them; it was so worth the wait! Calix is everything I love in a hero/anti-hero...he kind of walks the line on that one ;)
Excellent plot, well executed, loveable characters, and just enough grit and angst to keep me on the edge of my seat and dying for more!
I cannot wait for book 2!!

Her only solace as a child was her friend, Calix, until unexpected circumstances occur and he is forced to leave her life. Unknown to Thalia, her father had arranged for her to marry Calix when she grew up but after the unseen circumstances the plans her father had made for her changed. Though the roads of their lives had been separated, Calix never gave up on finding his way back to her. His need to be a protector for the girl who suffered abuse at the hands of her father and step-mother turned into a need to possess the striking woman she had become.
My favorite element from this novel was Thalia’s character growth and the way Calix helped inspire her to be the queen she is and take her revenge on those who wronged her. This was an absolutely delightful read and I can’t wait for Dreams of the Wicked! 😍

I have been anxiously and patiently waiting for Calix and Thalia’s story and Adelaide Forrest delivered it perfectly and fantastically.
This couple grew up being betrothed to each other and Calix was her protector and hero until he was gone and did not come back to save her. Years later his appearance is unexpected and so sensational but can Thalia get beyond his abandonment?
I love the appearance of Raf {swoon} and Ryker and their involvement in Calix Regas return to the six families and his attempt to right the wrongs of so many years ago.

"Even a villain has to be made before she can rise" 🩸
I could not put this down, it may be my favorite dark mafia romance ever.
The dynamic between Thalia and Calix is SO addicting and powerful. The growth throughout, both as individuals as well as in their relationship, is so well developed; it makes all the moments between them hit you right in the feels.
Calix is everything I want in a morally grey book boyfriend. The carnage, the lengths he is willing to go in order to protect and reclaim Thalia is deliciously alarming and dark. His obsession with exacting vengeance for her is unrelenting and being able to see things through his perspective with the dual POV is so, very, satisfying 😅
I'm IN LOVE with Thalia's character arc - experiencing her coming into her own is epic and when I made it to the end I was desperately swiping kindle pages hoping for more 😂 I will be VERY impatiently waiting to experience her further rise into her power.

just… bad
I really wanted to like this, especially because I’ve really liked her mafia books in the past. There was a lot I didn’t love about this, but the main one was the heroine. She was insufferable. While this is the first part of a duet, so the relationship will continue, so far all she has done is be mad at the hero, say snarky things to him even when she wasn’t mad, and hide things from him. She said not one kind word to him in the whole book. She acts like he couldn’t care less about her when literally all he has done is shown that he cares and wants to protect her. It got annoying after a while because she was being deliberately obtuse.

She asked him to kill his own father for her, he does, and she still says she can’t trust him. Wtf.

Definitivamente no es un libro para todos, Calix es súper posesivo de una manera que sí me pongo a pensar ¿amigo estás bien? Pero omg, igual dice mucho que haya encontrado un poco de esa actitud como hot 🥵 o sea se que en la vida real huyo pero en este mundo literario me es válido, tiene su obsesión clara y la ama, ama a Thalia, queriendo controlar todo y no de la manera rosa e ideal, pero ajá. Thalia tho, de repente se le prendía el switch pero hey por algo ambos comienzan a funcionar como pareja. Estuvo interesante todo el concepto de las familias y las tradiciones, medio raro pero interesante.

Dreams of the Deadly is such a captivating and consuming beginning to this mafia duet. With a plot that’s unexpected but tropes that are familiar and characters that are deliciously complicated, I found myself immersed and thirsty for this story. It’s dark, but with a tender romanticism to it, action-packed, and emotionally raw- everything I love about a mafia romance.
I wasn’t quite expecting our story to big up just where it did, and truthfully I don't always love a story that spends a lot of time with our characters as kids, but this one really hit the mark, in part because of just how heavily the actions of the past shaped both of these characters. The juxtaposition between their past selves and future selves is one of the most compelling parts of this story - how loss, betrayal, and the darkness of their own world subvert the futures that were being handed them, only to force them to crawl and scratch their way from destruction back into the life they so wanted. Ironically, one quite similar to the one in front of them before- only NOW these two characters are different creatures. And I loved that dynamic - the contrast of nature vs. nurture, free will vs. fate. It not only gives the story an epic quality, but one that is also very character-driven. We have danger, we have action, we have steam, but establishing the evolution of these characters is at the center…forcing them to re-learn one another not only as adults, but as changed versions of their younger selves.
I’ll admit I have a penchant for liking a softer heroine- the more malleable, tortured, delicate type that emerges as a butterfly. Our heroine is not that- and I FLOVED HER. Thalia is certainly wounded and traumatized by her past and upbringing, but this is not a delicate flower of a butterfly. She’s blackwidow who’s steadily and quietly built strength and cunning over time. She’ll play the game, but she hasn’t let it break her yet. She refuses to be a pawn or a victim- even if she hasn’t had power. YET. She certainly has some resentment and hostility (that at times felt misplaced to me), but she certainly grows into a force. And the more time I spent with her, the more I rooted for her.
And Calix is all that I love from a mafia leading man- only a bit swoonier. His undying and lifelong obsession…err, devotion….with Thalia is so epically romantic. Well, could be a bit creepy if you think about how early it started- but again, the past does a lot of service here in establishing the wholesomeness of their earlier years. But his obsession has evolved into something carnal and possessive. He’s not a gentle man, he’s a ruthless survivor, but he is a goner for his lady, even if he’s unwilling to protect her from his own darkness. Good thing, because she relishes it. And their shared quest for vengeance unites them in powerful ways.
The chemistry is definitely heady and tense- these two are fire and fire. Thalia in particular struggles to come to terms with her conflicting emotions, while Calix has had years to decide just what he wants. What I loved most though, is that what he wants is for Thalia to be powerful. Of course, he wants to control her, but him alone- he sets all the cards in motion for her to be a queen by his side, which is unusual in our mafia men, who don’t often aspire to that even if they settle for it. But Calix willingly ENGINEERS it. He recognizes the best way to protect her is to not shield her, but rather, give her the weapons she needs to fight her battles. With him calling the shots, of course.
This does have some great twists and continues in the second book, though I wouldn't necessarily say this is a “cliffhanger”- we have a clean stop and nothing too drastic, which I appreciated it. Adelaide is clearly setting up to halves to their story- this chapter has solidified their plans and their relationship, now the real battles begin.

I have a LOT of mixed feelings about this one.
There were a lot of things at play here that I loved. I enjoyed the general plot of childhood betrothed/protector is forcefully removed from her life and does everything in his power to make sure that they can never be separated again. There was so much devotion and angst in that concept that I just ate it up. Not to mention the other tropes I love:
- arranged/forced marriage
- "who did this to you?"
- toucher her & I'll kill you
- hurt/comfort
- forced proximity
- only one bed
I was also really enjoying the concept of modern mafia families fighting in a gladiator style pit. Something about that scratched a brain itch I wasn't aware of until I was actively reading it.
I felt like their chemistry was a bit forced at times but overall enjoyable. I liked the dynamic of him drawing inspiration from her books (and buying her a whole library of them?? swoon).
I also had some major issues with this book. Thalia is an abused child when they meet, and her life only gets worse from there. She witnesses and survives some terrible treatment at the hands of those that are supposed to love and protect her, and through all of that Calix is the only character who makes her feel safe/protected. Even after he's gone she still thinks of him as her protector despite the audience knowing that Christian is there. That is extremely at odds with how Calix treats her when he comes back into her life.
Some of the things I couldn't understand/forgive were:
Overall, those actions gave me the ick because they felt like a 180. We start off with a boy who goes up against a grown mafia boss to stop her abuse, and we end up with that boy growing up to abuse her himself? It would be one thing if it was just an entertaining read about a toxic relationship in a mafia/dark setting, but something about it just wasn't sitting right with me. If they actually talk through things and some major changes are made in book 2, I might still find the overall story enjoyable.

DNF ffs I’m so tiyaaard.
Look someone was being killed 10% in, and I love how anything goes in a mafia romance.
But I really didn’t vibe with this one. There were so many details I didn’t understand!
For example, Thalia is colour blind and left handed. She also likes drawing, mythology etc. And her Father was so cruel to her, believing she wasn’t ‘worthy’ due to her differences. Okay… why is that so bad 😂 this man is literally whipping her knuckles and having his new wife cane her back for this… seems extreme lol and wasn’t explained.
And then Calix.. he’s contractually obliged to marry Thalia. Visits her from a young age (there’s an age gap) Ok fine. Then shit goes down and his family are banished (it’s wild lol) and he isn’t contracted to marry her anymore. He doesn’t see her for TWELVE YEARS but he feels like she technically belongs to him, plus he knows her father is abusive, he wants to get her out and marry her. He plants a mole in her house, has a camera installed, watches her for 12 years, and is DETERMINED to still marry her and he’s super possessive and it’s just weird 😂 dude you don’t have to marry her anymore (he didn’t want to in the first place, she was 8 years old in the beginning and he was like 18) yeah get her away from her father w/e but his behaviour was OTT and didn’t make sense to me.
I love a possessive man but make it make sense yuno?

Thursday 31st august 2023.!!! Where is the second book.! 😂 I need to read it.!!

First things first this book would of been a 5 star if I understood more how it was Greek mafia. There isn't any information on the greek side? No history or back story. I would of loved more details on it.
Anyway...
Anyone who loves mafia romance I highly recommend Dreams Of The Deadly.
Thalia is promised to Calix from a very young age. When she’s of age they will marry. This will build a bound between two of the families.
Thalia is unaware any of this, as she very young. Over the years as Thalia gets older Calix checks in on her and her family. He starts to notice that she doesn’t have a nice life at home with her father and mother.
She’s treated very badly.
Without giving anything else away Calix get banished from the 6 families.
This leave Thalia with her abusive father and stepmother.
Many years later Calix is back with his army. Ready to take what belongs to him.
This book is so good guys. It’s full of action, drama, it has everything. Calix is my new favourite obsession.
It’s written so well, the plot is one of the best I’ve read. There is so much suspense, it was absolutely brilliant. I just wish I had more information on the Greek mafia.

First things first this book would of been a 5 star if I understood more how it was Greek mafia. There isn't any information on the greek side? No history or back story. I would of loved more details on it.
Anyway...
Anyone who loves mafia romance I highly recommend Dreams Of The Deadly.
Thalia is promised to Calix from a very young age. When she’s of age they will marry. This will build a bound between two of the families.
Thalia is unaware any of this, as she very young. Over the years as Thalia gets older Calix checks in on her and her family. He starts to notice that she doesn’t have a nice life at home with her father and mother.
She’s treated very badly.
Without giving anything else away Calix get banished from the 6 families.
This leave Thalia with her abusive father and stepmother.
Many years later Calix is back with his army. Ready to take what belongs to him.
This book is so good guys. It’s full of action, drama, it has everything. Calix is my new favourite obsession.
It’s written so well, the plot is one of the best I’ve read. There is so much suspense, it was absolutely brilliant. I just wish I had more information on the Greek mafia.

This book is amazing! Calix and Thalia’s story is dark dirty and so twisted I could not put it down! Their chemistry is scorching I loved their banter my heart hurts for Thaila and all she’s endured and Calix had me swooning so hard for how protective he was of her ! This book was sooo freaking good! I highly recommend!
