For the first 80% of this book, I really enjoyed this one. I really enjoyed the dynamic between the main characters and the age play was lovely. These two were good together and Sawyer has lost a leg and he was really self conscious about it and it melted my heart how Eric kept reassuring him that it did not matter to him. They were a very well suited couple.
For the rest of the book, something happened that really dampened my enjoyment of the book. I have always been out spoken about my love of well done rep in books and the mental the mental health rep in this book just wasn’t what I wanted it to be. Sawyer had PSTD and depression. Something happens and he falls into a depressive episode and he ignores Eric because of it and a couple of days after that, instead of checking on him and making sure he’s alright, Eric and friends barge into his house to talk sense into him and make him see how he’s hurting Eric, which made it seems like Sawyer did something wrong when he was depressed and had no control over it. Also you cannot just talk sense into someone who’s in a depressive episode, these things don’t just stop because someone talks rough to you. I just didn’t like how it was spun that Sawyer was in the wrong when he had a mental health condition that stopped him from acting any other way. He never should have had to apologize for being depressed, it’s not something he has control over.

I'm finally writing a bit of a review, since I've now read it twice.
I finally remember what bothered me and why I couldn't completely enjoy it.
I had a hard time liking Sawyer. I thought he was a bit stiff, and not in a good way. To me he came across as a bit cold at times.
But I really did like Eric. I love it when my book characters are so fluid in their littleness. Eric just flowed in and out of his little headspace all the time, and I loved that. It made him utterly adorable and cute.
So overall Eric made up for Sawyer, just not enough to give this more than 3.5 stars...

So this was my first MM that had age-play in it and I’m pleasantly surprised.
If I’m gonna be honest, when I first bought the book I didn’t read the blurb. Therefore, I didn’t know it was gonna have age-play up until the author's note. I got scared because I thought I wasn’t going to like it, but I had already purchased it. So I said, what the hell, and started reading.
I went into it with an open mind, and I’ll say it again, I was pleasantly surprised. Was I uncomfortable in some parts? Sure. Could I not understand the why of some of the scenes? Yeah. But did I think it was pretty cute, and I need to protect Eric and Sawyer at all costs? Absolutely.
I’m glad I read this. I was out of my comfort zone and it was something new. And it was definitely an experience. This book helped open my mind and open my horizons. You know be more accepting in general.
Eric and Sawyer were a great couple. I really liked them together. They complimented each other so well and they helped me into having a more open mind. Cody and Aaron were one of the greatest set of secondary characters I’ve read. I need them to have a book.
Before this book I didn’t understand age-play, at all. I still don’t understand it completely but I respect it, and accept it. You know, you do you. Be happy and do whatever you want (it being legal and with consent and all)!
This book was pretty great. I don’t know if in the future I’ll read anymore age-play type books, but we’ll see. I’ll probably will read them Jeje. I say I don’t know, but then next week I have a new review talking about one these types of books. 😅😌

4.5 stars. Oh gosh, I loved this super sweet and emotional one! Such a thoughtful story with vulnerable characters. Two men are both convinced there will be no one to fulfill their needs. One who’s a little but finding himself at an age he can’t imagine there’s a Daddy for him, and one, ex-military with such an injury every little will run away from him

Audiobook Review
The narration of this book was done well, it's hard to get the whole Daddy/boy scenes right, but this one was great. Especially since this was an older boy, younger Daddy Dom pairing.
In here we have Eric who has been dumped yet again and on the verge of getting out of the lifestyle when he meets Sawyer.
Sawyer lost a leg in the military and has a lot of mental health issues that are pretty glossed over here. I still do not understand why they did an intervention and tough love act when someone should have called his psychiatrist/therapist.
Anyways these two finally get together and have their HEA.

November 5, 2021I have real problems with portions of this book. I think I am being kind by giving it a 3 stars, but maybe it's just me. I will say the premise I love. This could have been amazing but I think if you are going to write a book with a character with PTSD and serious issues with depression as well as a disability then you have to accept there is a responsibility with that and make sure you address those issues properly.
There are parts of the book I liked. The plot was a slam dunk for me - I immediately wanted to read this when I saw the blurb. There is a point where Sawyer (the character who is an amputee) is at Eric's home and has difficulty with his prosthesis and stump. I think the way that was dealt with was done really well. The way Sawyer's feelings were portrayed felt very real and Eric's response was genuine and lovely to watch. There are also some very sweet moments between Eric and Sawyer.
It was written well. The writing overall was a bit lacklustre for me but I haven't taken that into account in my star rating. Whilst I didn't feel engaged by it and struggled at some points to not feel like things were dragging that could very well be due to it being a writing style I just didn't click with.
I have some smaller niggles (I'm saving the part that really bothered me for last). Sawyer makes a big deal of talking with Eric about their limits. All good so far - communication is key. The problem is he never talks about his own limits. Ever. His limits/expectations are pretty much ignored. That's not proper communication. Eric has absolutely no idea what to expect from Sawyer. Sawyer has no idea if his kinks line up in any real way with Eric's. It also really isn't realistic of someone who has a physical injury of the type Sawyer has. I'm not saying that people with disabilities all want to talk about them and the limits they have. However, there are practical issues that he really does need to discuss and which Eric needs to know about. Apparently, Eric was in a big frame of mind for long enough to discuss what he likes but not for long enough to have a serious conversation about Sawyer being an amputee. Eric identifies something as a possible limit, something he wants to work up to. Apparently, to Sawyer that means he should jump right in. They've barely gotten to know each other and suddenly Sawyer is pushing on something Eric was clear about being unsure about.
The big problem for me (and where, frankly I had to put in real effort to actually continue reading) came at approximately 90% through the book. Normally, I'd try to overlook it - I mean, we were nearly at the finish - but this made me so angry and so frustrated that it ruined the book for me. I am going to try to be vague because I don't want to spoil anything. At around 85ish% we have an event which, in all honesty, comes across very much as the author feeling like there had to be some kind of conflict. But, fair enough, not a deal-breaker. Sawyer has previously mentioned (neigh, warned Eric) that he is particularly prone to depressive episodes. This is someone (might I add) who is a veteran who lost his leg (above the knee) in combat. Anyway, this thing happens. Sawyer is angry and clearly struggling to regulate his emotions (again, really not surprising and something which can happen to those with both depression and PTSD). I would like to say whilst his reaction and actions afterward are hurtful, it is very clear they are not deliberately intended to be (he's not reacted violently towards Eric, he's not been abusive or deliberately cruel - he seems to make a fairly concerted effort to, within what he is capable of at that point, look after Eric). Without going into too much detail, Sawyer then seriously struggles with a depressive episode. Eric apparently feels that unless he's actively contacted he's okay with doing nothing to check Sawyer is okay. When I say nothing, I mean absolutely nothing. Even letting that go, what absolutely made me nope so hard it's not even funny was that after only a weekend his BF lets himself into Sawyer's house, physically man-handles him into a wheelchair and then takes away all his agency by wheeling him (naked with only a blanket thrown over his lap) into a room with not only Eric but Eric's best friend. You do not do that. It's just a no. You don't take away someone's agency. The only time that would be okay was if it was a matter of safety. If Sawyer was physically in danger fine. But he's not. He was fighting back and his friend still kept on with forcing him into a wheelchair and then preventing him from operating the wheelchair. Then, when he is most vulnerable he exposes him to a practical stranger. That is not okay. At all. There then proceeds to be an intervention (because apparently despite Sawyer falling and constantly picking himself back up his BF is tired of his self-destruction - what self-destruction? two days of depression?? - honestly this came across as the BF being sick of his ‘attitude’). Depression really isn't something you can 'snap' out of. You cannot just tell someone to stop being depressed. You certainly aren't going to fix anything by reminding Sawyer of just how vulnerable he is by taking away any agency he has. I understood Aaron being worried. I understood him letting himself into Sawyer's apartment. I could even understand letting Eric in. But this was so far beyond what was okay I had to stop reading and really had to convince myself to keep on. It's not okay. It's not appropriate. That is not how you deal with depression or really any kind of mental health disorder. That for me, just ruined things.

sweet alternative daddy book
I really appreciate daddy books that think outside the box. Older boy, younger Daddy, both broken in their own way. It was done so sweetly and I will happily read more in this series.

More than Enough is a fabulous age play romance. Everything about this B Harmony story warms my heart.
This is an age play story with an older little who's starting to feel too old to be a little. This aspect makes for an emotional journey for Eric. It's truly a beautiful story.
If you want a story with an older little falling for a younger Daddy, look no further.
Eric and Sawyer are two wonderfully complex characters. Eric's struggling with his age and his desires. Meanwhile Sawyer struggles with his amputation, both being rejected for it, and the physical pain it brings.
Both men need healing, and both men gain it through this relationship. It's sweet, emotional, and definitely worth a read.
Their story includes plenty of tender moments, and some ABDL, which is all amazingly done.
I love that both men are thoughtful, caring, and loving. Best of all though, is the way the characters don't fit the typical stereotypes. Having the little being older is a wonderful aspect of this story. But ever better is that the daddy is a disabled veteran. Both of these men don't fit the "norm" and it makes for amazing multi-layered characters.
The author does a great job including depression in an accurate way. Everything is written with care and knowledge. In addition, the author excels in illustrating chronic pain. I am impressed by how well everything is developed and executed.
Overall, I absolutely love More Than Enough. This B Harmony tale is a must read for anyone who loves age play romances.

This book gave me all the feels. Love at first sight, heart melting, heart breaking and it felt real. Eric and Sawyer are just perfect for each other. I have started to enjoy this kink and this book was spot on for me. I felt like I was right there with these guys as they made their journey together. It wasn't all fun and games but neither is real life. Highly recommend this book.

I absolutely loved this book. Daddy/little is my favorite subgenera and this book did not disappoint.
Things I loved:
1. Eric and Sawyer don't fit the typical mold of a Daddy/little that's romanticized in most books. Eric is over 40, a little pudgy and looking for a more 24/7 relationship. Sawyer is in his 20s ( I think) and lost part of his leg while serving in the Marines. He considers himself broken and unable to be a Daddy. I love the age difference and the general life differences between the 2. I loved the progression of their relationship in the book. So many daddy/little books are written in the express lane. I loved that this relationship blossomed all the time. Sawyer was a perfect Daddy for Eric. Both were really well written.
2. There was no real focus on wealth, or having a nursery/playroom. These characters felt realistic and that's how I connected with them.
3. Codfish and Aaron are amazing side characters. Both Eric and Sawyer experience stress, depression, and anxiety throughout the book and their friends are pillars of strength for both of them.
4. I really feel that the author handled Sawyer's disability and subsequent bouts of severe depression, chronic pain very well and respectful to the character and the real life issues faced by many amputees. I love how sweet Eric was with Sawyer, but also appreciated his take charge nature when Sawyer needed him. Their relationship and interactions felt real and my heart hurt and filled with joy for both of them.
My one complaint is that the epilogue wasn't long enough. I wanted more of their relationship down the road. A year is ok, but I'd love to have peeked in on what and how they were doing 5 years down the road.
I received an ARC, but all thoughts and opinions are my own. I'm so very glad I requested this one.

1. Eric and Sawyer don't fit the typical mold of a Daddy/little that's romanticized in most books. Eric is over 40, a little pudgy and looking for a more 24/7 relationship. Sawyer is in his 20s ( I think) and lost part of his leg while serving in the Marines. He considers himself broken and unable to be a Daddy. I love the age difference and the general life differences between the 2. I loved the progression of their relationship in the book. So many daddy/little books are written in the express lane. I loved that this relationship blossomed all the time. Sawyer was a perfect Daddy for Eric. Both were really well written.
2. There was no real focus on wealth, or having a nursery/playroom. These characters felt realistic and that's how I connected with them.
3. Codfish and Aaron are amazing side characters. Both Eric and Sawyer experience stress, depression, and anxiety throughout the book and their friends are pillars of strength for both of them.
4. I really feel that the author handled Sawyer's disability and subsequent bouts of severe depression, chronic pain very well and respectful to the character and the real life issues faced by many amputees. I love how sweet Eric was with Sawyer, but also appreciated his take charge nature when Sawyer needed him. Their relationship and interactions felt real and my heart hurt and filled with joy for both of them.
My one complaint is that the epilogue wasn't long enough. I wanted more of their relationship down the road. A year is ok, but I'd love to have peeked in on what and how they were doing 5 years down the road.

This book was so sweet. Eric is an older Little that feels like no one will ever want him and is resigned to giving up his little side. Sawyer is a younger, ex-Marine, that was wounded in service and struggles with both his new physical reality and his emotional acceptance of his body. He has had bad encounters with littles being unable to accept his scars and he is convinced that his Daddy days are over. After a chance meeting at a BDSM club, the two decide to give a Daddy/little relationship one more try, and despite their mutual insecurities and a few ups and downs, they find out that what they needed all along was each other.
This book has medium angst, lots of feels and a fair amount of heat! It has a nice realistic progression and good character development. I loved the dynamic between Eric and Sawyer, and the meddling of their mutual best friends: Aaron and Cody. I was very engaged in the story from the beginning and thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is a really enjoyable DDlb novel which breaks some of the traditional norms. Eric is a middle-aged little who has never met his true Daddy. He's a little chunky and his knees crack. He's decided to give up when his best friend talks him into attending a club one more time. Sawyer is a 28 year old Daddy Dom who has never met his lifelong little boy. He's a disabled veteran Marine who has lost part of one of his legs. He suffers from some mental health issues, attends therapy, and feels that no little will ever want a Daddy who has his disabilities and physical issues. His best friend talks him into attending a club just to get out of himself for one night. When Eric and Sawyer see each other, it is a strong attraction, but both lack confidence. As their relationship develops, occasional obstacles arise. Can they make this work long-term? This book is a fulfilling story with a predictable relationship arc and a warm, loving HEA.

I just couldn’t. Honestly I don’t hate this book, but I just couldn’t keep reading it.
I read enough books with the same dynamic between Eric and Sawyer, and what I noticed is that Eric might be… (I don’t know how to say this without sounding offensive) but maybe a bit unstable? OMG he was just trying tooo hard. I felt like everything was forced.
I don’t know, I just didn’t feel him, and I couldn’t carry on with it 😩
Sawyer was the perfect daddy. I liked him a lot. He does things naturally, and his inner monologue is valid. His fears and insecurities made him a very good character.
One more thing I liked is the friendship between Sawyer and his best friend, and the pirate themes.
I love books with different dynamics, and I didn’t want to ruin it for myself, so I had to stop.

Wonderful...absolutely wonderful. It's been a long time since I read a Daddy/boy romance that made me smile as much as this one. I absolutely LOVED that this was an older little and younger Daddy dynamic. OMG...Eric was just toooo sweet and cute for words. He had my heart from the start and when he met Sawyer this pairing was just too perfect. I thought it was very significant that both were thinking this was their last shot in finding something meaningful, so their instant connection at that kink club was really fate with a little help from each of their best friends (loved them too...so supportive of the guys). Love their communication throughout until that slight blip towards the end which was quickly resolved...you just don't give up on something that's real and special...so many feels. Loved their HEA...Mannnnnnn...I was so pleased with this book that I didn't want it to end. If anyone has reservations on reading ABDL, give this book a chance...I'm definitely sure you would finish with good feelings.

I really enjoyed this book, so rarely do you find older littles, specially ones who are as adorable as Eric. He regresses so easily and is simply endearing with all his silliness. I loved his relationship with Cody and how well he took care of Eric.
Just as I liked how easily Sawyer was drawn to Eric and giving very little thought to the age difference, only how he could manage to be the best Daddy for his boy.
I knew there would come a crack in the story, but I kind of didn't like how it was set up. It felt very created just to get this reaction, and it didn't flow with the story.
That's why I couldn't give it a full five stars, though I loved it up to this point.

I adored the two main characters in the book.
Sawyer and Eric felt like real people. They had depth and interesting backstories. They had strengths and weaknesses and difficulties to get over. I felt for them from the first chapters and was really rooting for their happily ever after.
I loved their chemistry and their dynamics too. It was different and special. Those two imperfect people were perfect together and the way they helped and cared for each other was just beautiful.
I really liked their friends too, Cody and Aaron. I hope we get their stories.
Wonderful book, I had the best time reading it and I highly recommend it.

I really liked this. I went into it expecting more of the same as far as age play, and I don’t mean that in a bad way. What I got instead was a sweet romance with two very different men. Both Sawyer and Eric had different needs. Together, they worked beautifully. I admit to even getting a little misty-eyed a few times. I liked Eric and his Disney villain loving ways, though there were times I felt his ‘little side’ was a bit too much as far as his emotions. I liked Sawyer a lot and I felt bad for him throughout the entire book, especially when he was battling his own issues internally while at the same time trying to be strong for Eric.
The next book in the series, Just Enough, is Aaron and Cody’s story. I loved the two of them separately so I’m definitely looking forward to it.

I did a reread of this because a second book came out and I didn't even know there was going to be a second book until I had to brush up and I'm so glad I did because gosh I love this book so much. It does so many things right and I loved how realistic it all was. Highly recommend.

I received a free copy of this from gay romance reviews and I loved it. It has all of my favorite tropes within BDSM and specifically age play regarding characters who don't fit the stereotypes of their role. This one in particular has an older Little and a disabled Daddy which both leads them with feelings of inadequacy and being told that they are not enough.
There is fantastic depression rep in this and that was a really pleasant surprise to see within a kinky contemporary book. I also really loved all of the prioritizing of consent. That's a fairly common thing within BDSM books because it is so important, but it isn't always done well and it is done exceptionally well in this one.
Eric is in his early 40s and has had really bad luck with Daddy's and finding one who appreciates his littleness. On a last ditch effort his best friend brings him to a BDSM club and that's where Eric meets Sawyer. Sawyer is a disabled retired Marine in his late 20s and he has really struggled to get back into his role as a Daddy after leaving the Marines because of medical discharge. Sawyer is an amputee and is struggling a little bit with his self-worth since his body is different than he expected it to be. Sawyer also ends up at the BDSM club as a last ditch effort from his best friend and on a whim walks by the littles room and is immediately enamored by the older little. The two of them have this very romance book eqsue initial love at for sight kind of clicking. They just vibe with each other and I think that they both see the vulnerability in the other and recognize that as a part of themselves as well.
There are some serious ups and downs including bouts of severe depression and also some of the chronic pain that comes with being an amputee. There is some serious anxiety representation as well. while this is still a fairly light and fluffy, happily ever after romance book, it doesn't shy away from presenting some real struggles of being human.
This book does include age play and ABDL as well as sexual encounters during age regression and if that is a trigger for you, please pass on this book. Your mental health is worth more than a book.

A review divided
I was left with mixed feelings after reading this one. I was super excited to dive into this one because I adore Littles and their Daddies. They are some of my favorites stories. I wish this one had hit a little deeper for me.
Sawyer certainly had a lot of issues. I really liked how issues plaguing veterans were out front and center. This is something that can definitely use a spotlight. There were moments when Sawyer was absolutely lovable as a daddy. Once he decided to be the daddy Eric needed, he really did fulfill Eric’s needs wonderfully. However, I felt that Sawyer’s depression issues and PTSD weren’t addressed fully. One come to jesus talk and he was fine? Hardly believable.
Eric had his own set of problems for me. He was a really adorable little. I loved the scenes when he was playing at The Garden and when he and Sawyer were cuddling together. However, Eric stated time and time again that his little time was fluid and he wanted to be an equal partner, but he appeared to stay in little space more often than not. The crying and breakdowns he had, especially in the beginning of the book were A LOT. I was glad that settled down after awhile, because it was really wearing on me.
Overall, this was just an okay read for me. I was looking for a little more in this daddy/little book and was left feeling slightly disappointed.

I’ve read my fair share of daddy/little books but this one completely blew me away. It’s simply the best daddy/little book I’ve ever read.
Eric was hilarious when he completely regressed. I was laughing out loud when he called Cody, “ stupid meany- head best friend” or when he aimed those cute puppy eyes at Cody in the end lol. Eric was absolutely adorable as a little and the author did a fabulous job bringing his character to life.
Sawyer was broken and damaged. He took his sweet time to understand the most important thing - that he could lean on Eric too as they were both equals. Sawyer was an amazing daddy and went above and beyond to help Eric through his anxieties and fears.
Sawyer and Eric were beautiful together and I loved watching their love and relationship blossom.

December 27, 2021I DNF at around 30%, I think age-play is just not for me, I just can't get into the headspace for it for either side of the dynamic. This is not kink shaming in any way or form, it's just not for me.
For those that enjoy this type of story though, of what I read, and through my inexperienced eyes, the story was sweet and well written. I really liked both MCs and they seemed to fill a need in each other.

Eric and Sawyer! My throat tightened up reading this one, which is nearly impossible to do! I adored the age dynamics here with an older, chunky little and a young dom. Both were flawed and scared, but fit together perfectly.

I found this to be a wonderfully emotive story with two men who have been beaten down by others and events finding their dream and happiness in each other. Some of my favourite tropes are included here with an older boy/younger daddy, ex military needing support.
Bless Eric, he thinks of himself as too old to be a Little after several failed relationships and attempts with Daddies who find him either not enough or too much but when Daddy Sawyer comes into The Garden playroom, the care he's shown in that one night shows him the possible future that he's been wishing for. Sawyer had decided enough was enough after the last boy he was with literally ran away after seeing his injury but his best friend, Aaron, holds an intervention, dragging him for a night out at The Garden and it's the best thing he'd ever agreed to when he sees his boy.
The two men quickly make a connection that, as with most BDSM relationships, develops into strong feelings. Sawyer struggles with feeling enough for Eric as he cannot be at 100% physically and mentally for his boy but it's a lesson to be learned that they are also in a partnership where Eric can stand strong, also caring and loving his partner, despite his Little side being the predominant side when they are together. My heart went out to both for what they go through mentally and Sawyer for how his injury has affected his daily life but what they bring to each other's lives outshines everything else by miles, the joy, love and happiness easy to read in their thoughts, actions and change in demeanour.
A highly recommended read for those who enjoy a daddy/boy romance with a bit of emotional angst and two best friends who know what's best. Really hoping to hear more from Cody and Aaron in the future.

Loved this Daddy boy book!
This book was so filled with real emotions. What I mean by this is that even though Sawyer is the daddy and we also read and imagine the daddy this strong big guy who can have the world on their shoulders they are still human and this book showed us that.
Sawyer is a dream daddy if you ask me I loved him in this role but he is also a partner for Eric not only his daddy and I actually realized reading this book that the partner role sometimes gets lost in daddy/boy books.
Eric is the cutest boy and truly reminds me of a kid who wants more responsibility. That is kinda how I saw him in this book he was the perfect boy AND partner for Sawyer and when Sawyer needed a helping hand it was Eric who was there (of course with his own adorable twist on it)
Also, can I just say I LOVED that the daddy had a disability! Like yeees for not making all daddies so unrealistic but showing that even if he cant through you up against the wall or carry you in his arms 24/7 you can still have a freaking hot and amazing daddy/boy relationship!
You will also get to meet the funniest side characters in this book and I kept smiling and laughing in this book because even though both MCs are having a hard time they have humor and they have some amazing friends that are a big part of this book too.

Can two people who are about ready to give up on what they really want find love and happiness together? Eric and Sawyer have both tried and failed to find someone to accept them and provide what they crave. I felt for both men and cheered for them as they got to know each other and had their relationship deepen. I could understand and sympathize with their insecurities and worries. I was glad that Sawyer was able to accept Eric's fluid transitions between adult and little, help Eric try new things, and provide a safe place for Eric to be himself. I was proud of Eric standing up to Sawyer and proving that even if he's a little, he can still be an equal partner in their relationship and take care of his Daddy when needed.
While I wasn't so thrilled with the conflict towards the end, I do think that both Eric and Sawyer needed to communicate about Sawyer's depression and come up with healthier strategies together. The situation should have given them a chance to communicate better about it. I do think Sawyer really needed someone other than Aaron, his best friend, to lean on and show they would be there through thick and thin. Eric did that in spades. I loved Cody, Eric's best friend, as well as Aaron. They were supportive, protective, and there for both Eric and Sawyer.
Overall, this was a mostly sweet Daddy/little story with two men finding the love and support from each other that they both thought they wouldn't find.

While I wasn't so thrilled with the conflict towards the end, I do think that both Eric and Sawyer needed to communicate about Sawyer's depression and come up with healthier strategies together. The situation should have given them a chance to communicate better about it. I do think Sawyer really needed someone other than Aaron, his best friend, to lean on and show they would be there through thick and thin. Eric did that in spades. I loved Cody, Eric's best friend, as well as Aaron. They were supportive, protective, and there for both Eric and Sawyer.
Overall, this was a mostly sweet Daddy/little story with two men finding the love and support from each other that they both thought they wouldn't find.

More Than Enough by B. Harmony 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I found out about ageplay a couple of months ago when I found a book on Booksprout about the subject. After that, I read a couple of other ageplay books, but none of them as well-written as More Than Enough.
More Than Enough features Sawyer, a 28yo retired Marine struggling with depression and the insecurity brought by the loss of one of his limbs, and Eric a forty-three year old little who's about to give up this side of him because he's feeling old and unlovable.
They find each other at The Garden, a club that embraces every kink and welcomes everyone, when both of their best friends, Cody and Aaron (who are both doms and the best side characters that I've seen in a while. They're super funny and they both have so much bro chemistry! I love them!) decided to take matters on their own hands and dragged their friends to the club so they could try to meet someone.
Sawyer and Eric click almost immediately, but decided to take things slowly... Mostly because Sawyer is completely insecure about being able to perform his duties as a Daddy while being an amputee... Poor Sawyer sees himself as less than a man even when Eric is doing everything he can to make his Daddy feel like he's enough.
What I loved the most about this book is that every conflict comes from the inside. There's no love triangle, there's no third person involved in any way. The root of their problems lies in their own insecurities and the author succeded in showing that when the problem is within yourself, it's almost impossible to solve it alone! You'll need emotional support from your friends, and that's Cody and Aaron's role in this book: They help. They go out of their way to do whatever they can to support their friends and they do that beautifully.
For me, this books showed me much more than the D/l dynamics, it also showed me that it's okay to lean on your friends for help and when you have good friends, they will fight for you even when you don't feel like fighting for yourself.

More than Enough by B. Harmony just warmed my heart when I read it. Eric is an atypical Boy and Sawyer sees himself as a damaged Daddy. They are at very low points in their life at the start of the book. Both men feel like they are being forced to give up a vital aspect of who they are in order to just move forward with the rest of their lives, that is until they have a chance meeting that allows them to see what they could actually have together. The Boy and his Daddy have to work through the ups and downs with the combinations of both physical and emotional issues in their daily lives. They needed to figure out how sometimes a Daddy needs to be supported and that both people in a relationship are partners and roles can be fluid. I enjoyed the sweetness of the relationship between the two men and how close friendships played a solid role in emotional support of both men. I also liked how the author didn’t just let Eric sit by and accept things that happened in the story, but wrote him as a “strong” boy who grew emotionally throughout the relationship. I hope to see stories for “Codfish” and Aaron in the future as these are also two very interesting characters.

More Than Enough is a beautifully written sweet age play story with all the feels about Eric and Sawyer, two souls who were about to give up on finding the right person for them when both of their best friends decide to take them to the same club. They both agree, under protest, but when Sawyer sees Eric in the littles area of the club for the first time he knows he needs to get to know him. Eric has the same reaction to Sawyer and is willing to spend time with him in the littles area. I love that Eric is an older little. I wish there were more stories like this. Just because we get older don't mean our need to be little changes. Daddy Sawyer is a retired Marine. He lost part of his leg in combat and is reluctant to get close to anyone because of past experience. Can Eric be the little he's been needing? And can Sawyer be the Daddy that Eric still needs? I love Eric and Sawyer together. I love their trust and acceptance of each other. I also love how their best friends, Aaron and Cody, are so protective of them. If you enjoy Daddy/boy stories or sweet age play you don't want to miss this book. Definitely recommend.
