Every once in a while, I enjoy a good M/F/M book, especially if they are done right.

It's fun to watch not just two, but three people discover their emotions and figure out how to navigate the treacherous threesome waters.

description

Okay, who am I kidding - I am here for the hot as fuck M/F/M sex scenes.

description

Judge not.

Before this, I had only read one other Tymber Dalton - The Reluctant Dom, which was also a M/F/M and totally blew me away.

That said, I went into this knowing it would be good.

Which it was.

However....

In this book, the female h, Nevvie, makes it pretty clear on several occasions that she has deeper feelings for one H (Tyler) than the other H (Thomas).

So in other words...

description

Seriously, several times throughout the book Nevvie says she has "deeper connection" to Tyler than Thomas and I just found this to be bothersome.

In my M/F/M books, I want everyone's love for everyone else to be equal. Otherwise I just feel like I'm reading a love triangle, even if no one is being forced to choose.

I didn't like how Thomas was treated a little bit like a third wheel is some aspects here, especially since I straight up liked him better.

And I didn't like the ending scenario.

It was just...messy.

Otherwise, this was still a really decent M/F/M book and I really like Tymber Dalton's writing style.

I could not manage to finish this book, although I got close. It is immature, girly and cheesy.
It fails in all ways, the romance, the story, the eroticism, the writing, etc. The whole thing is a complete debacle. There is nothing remotely salvable here.

In regards to the romance, the story starts with Tyler and Thomas as a couple already in love with Nevvie, which means that the actual love story is skipped.
Since the falling in love part is not there, you´ll think that there must be a good plot, a narrative that grounds everything so that we are not just reading porn. However, what we are left with is an unrealistic scenario, a plot that goes beyond fiction and fantasy into irrationality, silliness and it is just simply moronic.

The ploy based in Tyler and Thomas being involved sexually and romantically but Nevvie doesn’t realizes it defies all logic. It is not believable that someone could be so stupid and dense to not see the truth when is so absolutely evident, it’s right on her face. It is not that she is innocent, it is denying the reality; which makes the characters appear too stupid to believe. It is so absurd that the book has no credibility. The plot is just not plausible, and thus everything crumbles with it. The funny thing about this is that at some point in the book, Nevvie admits that she was stupid for not realizing what whats going on in front of her, and Ty, who loves her very much, berates her for looking down on herself. Although I agree with this sentiment in which is wrong and counter-productive to insult and despise oneself, in this particular case I do believe that the shoe fits perfectly, she really is stupid.

At this point we see that we have no real love story, and an implausible narrative, so we are at the very least expecting to find a steaming erotica. Well, wrong again.
The book jumps right into the erotic part of the book. We have sex without an actual romance because, as I said previously, the love story is skipped entirely, we are just told that they love her and each other. To make it worse, even though there is plenty of sex, it is not passionate at all. They are not even hot sex scenes, they just are, it makes you feel nothing. Very disappointing.

What is the icing on the cake? The writing is so bad that it seems like a teenager wrote it.

"Love Slave for Two" is a tender and emotional erotic menage story by Tymber Dalton. WARNING: This story contains scenes of m/m and m/f/m sexual activities described in frank, modern terminology.

Tyler and Thomas have been lovers and partners for several years now. They consider themselves as married as any hetero couple. When Nevaeh comes into their life as a housecleaner, they are both amazed at how attracted they each are to her, without it taking away from their attraction to each other. The more time they spend with Nevaeh, the more they come to care for this courageous, yet damaged woman. When they realize the extent of Nevaeh's problems, they offer her full-time employment with them in an effort to help her. They know Nevaeh is attracted to both of them and realize that she could complete their lives in a way neither had before imagined. They plan to lure Nevaeh into their lives, but Nevaeh's cruel, deadbeat 'boyfriend' will do anything he can to stop her happiness.

If you enjoy your menage stories with m/m and m/f/m love, you really can't miss this one. It has an emotional impact you don't find in many menage stories.

I've gotta say... this is my least favorite Tymber Dalton book that I've read so far. Could these people possibly "gasp" any more???? He touched her and she gasped which made him gasp which made her gasp again. Wow. Really became annoying. And what was with the whole "master" game? That was ridiculous. The master game consisted of her saying "yes master" which would make them gasp and that was it. And who was the master? She would ask "are you still my masters?" and they would reply "yes" then she would say "great, now strip", WHAT??? They just said they were your master. That whole thing REALLY bugged me. And the problem is that the master thing and the gasping went on like every other page through the entire book. UGH. Another thing that really bothered me is that she totally shoved herself between the guys. The two guys had been together, perfectly happy and in love for 12 years, they both decide they love her and want to add her to the family but what happens is that it all becomes about her and I didn't like that. Each guy made sure to share and they both took time to have private dates and private time with her but they no longer had private dates and private time with just each other - it was all about her. It almost split the family. This story left me feeling like there is the 3 of them, or there is each guy with her but now without her there is no two guys. I felt like the two guys relationship had dissoved and that bothered me because it made me resent her for not making sure they kept special time just for themselves... yes, she wanted to keep the two guys together in their threesome but she didn't make sure they contimued to develop as a couple like she made sure to have couple time with each of them. Does this make sense? Anyway, I was bothered throughout this book. Very disapointing because normally I love Tymber Dalton books - I love the writing, the stories and the tearing of the heart but this one was a big let down.

This was a pretty good book. Nevvie, Tyler and Thomas are all very likable characters and their story was very good. I will note, this is not BDSM. There is an ongoing "role play" between the threesome that have them calling Nevvie their "love slave" and Tyler and Thomas are her "Masters" but that is the only thing remotely BDSM like and even then the "slave" is the one giving the orders part of the time. The sex is definitely erotic and has the typical m/m/f menage interactions but it's not BDSM.

Nevvie was adopted as a baby. Her adoptive father died when she was 8 years old and her mother remarried a very strict (and mean) preacher who made it his aim to make Nevvie fall in to line. Eventually they dumped Nevvie on a cousin and took off and she never saw her mother again. Nevvie was extremely smart in school and got a college scholarship but a bad situation messed up her life and she ended up out of school and moving across the country. She met Alex (a boyfriend that's 18 years older than her and basically mooches off of her) and can't figure out how to get away from him or take her life back. Nevvie ends up working cleaning houses to bring in any money she can.

Tyler is English but lives in America and is a famous writer. His family have never been very caring and he didn't get much approval or even emotion growing up. Tyler is bi and married 2 women (and divorced them) before he finally met Thomas 12 years ago and they got involved.

Thomas is an award winning architect. His father was an architect and Thomas spent a lot of time with his dad at his office and that stayed with him, prompting him to go in to the same field and love it. Thomas has 5 older sisters that he loves but didn't make things easy on him growing up. Thomas also is bi and dabbled in both men and women before meeting Tyler.

Tyler and Thomas have been involved for 12 years and live together as a married couple. Nevvie cleans their house for them every Thursday and has for the last 6 months when the story begins. The Thursday she comes over is her birthday and Thomas and Tyler go out of their way to make is special fro her. They've fallen for her and have spent the last 6 months looking forward to Thursdays because it's the day Nevvie comes to clean. They have noticed (well, Tyler noticed because he's like The Brain to Thomas being Pinky) that Nevvie doesn't seem too happy in her home life and seems to care for them (even if she doesn't love them in return) and they want to do whatever they can to help her. They eventually hope to coax her in to becoming a permanent member of their relationship to make it a threesome but for now they just hope to get her out of her bad home life. They offer her a live-in position, working partially as a housekeeper and Tyler's assistant as well as helping out as Thomas's assistant at his Architect firm. Nevvie has spent the last 6 months falling hard for Thomas and Tyler...it's just too bad they're gay because she really wants to jump their bones. They're nicer to her than anyone else has ever been and when they offer her a job and a place to stay she jumps at it. She plans to pack up a few things and leave without Alex knowing but that doesn't happen and Tyler and Thomas end up saving the day.

It takes time for Nevvie to recover from both the physical and emotional trauma that Alex put her through and Tyler and Thomas are so sweet and gentle with Nevvie. They take care of her and get her back up and on her feet. Once she's feeling well enough, Nevvie insists on getting to work and the guys ease her in to it, working with her to get her used to what she'll be working on now. She is a quick learner though and soon is being very helpful for both men and making their lives easier. The men dote on her as well and spoil her rotten. Nevvie is happier than she's even been in her life but she's not completely happy because she wants Tyler and Thomas. They want her as well but Tyler (always the planner) has the seduction all planned out. They know she's attracted to them both but they want to make sure she's accepting of a relationship with both of them and participate in a polyamorous relationship with them. They do get past that hurdle (although Nevvie is a bit annoyed with them for their plan taking so long to come to fruition) and finally start their m/m/f relationship. However, this is just the first part of the story and there's still plenty to see as the trio learns to deal with each other and others. There's some drama that pops up in a few places and a few points where things look really bad but Nevvie, Thomas and Tyler come through it intact and end the story progressing very nicely in to their HEA.

This was a pretty enjoyable story. I liked Nevvie, Tyler and Thomas very much. They weren't perfect individuals but they all had a place and role in the threesome that made them work perfectly together. The story was very good. There were a couple points that I felt the need to "suspend disbelief" a bit but it was mostly small stuff and the story was still pretty good overall. I'll probably read more of this series in the future. I'd recommend this book. :D

This story is about a young woman who is rescued from an abusive relationship and a life of loneliness by a gay couple who she cleans for once a week. They bring her into their home and life under the guise of deep friendship and concern offering her work as their assistant. Their true motivation is a shared deep lust and love for her because, unbeknownst to her, they are not gay, but bisexual. The rest of the story surrounds her seduction and then their integration into a polymorphous relationship.

This book had a lot of potential thus I gave it 3 stars but, in my opinion, the author missed the mark with the far too many declarations of love, too many sappy endearments and with the misguided master/ slave theme he wove into the story.

I thought that the Master/ slave motif (promised by the book title) might be unique and erotic but the way it was used in this story achieved the opposite effect for me. Every time I heard her use the "Master" title I lost any interest in the activities she was participating in. Her men, Tyler and Thomas, were a far cry from Alpha men and they never TOLD her to do anything erotic. They might have gingerly asked with an "I love you so much darling" right behind it, but there was no domination involved. So scratch any expectations of a D/s theme even though they reference submission early in the book.

I think the core problem with the story was that the two heroes were far too emotional men and they were constantly doting over the heroine, Nevvie. Their draw to her was obsessive and nauseating. I'm not saying that they were not sweet and darling characters because they were and I liked them as a same sex couple but they did not suit an erotic menage story

Try as I might to think differently, I kept envisioning Thomas as Cam from Modern Family because he had the thick southern accent. My skin crawled every time he called Nevvie Baby Girl or Sugar; especially when they were having sex! My mind pigeon-held Tyler as Peter MacNicol who was John Cage on Ally McBeal and is currently on Agents of Shield and CSI Cyber.

I liked the book enough to finish it and I was vested in the characters. I just didn't care for the sappy dialogue nor its insertion into potentially sexy scenes and I was disappointed that a decent plot was foiled by emotional male characters.

I don't know why I thought a book with this title and this cover would be well-written.

Reading this book is like reading a laundry list of activities. There is zero sizzle, no emotional connection, and by the time the sex scenes arrive...(way too far along in a book that should be mostly about sex--judging by the title and cover alone)...I could care less because the characters have failed to intrigue me.

It's all just so blah.

Tymber Dalton writes some of the best menage I've ever read. I read a number of menage stories since I read this one and it is very few who stand up to the way Tymber can weave a story. "Love Slave for Two" left me feeling warm and cuddly. I've read all of the "Love Slave for Two" books and anxiously await the next one. Keep them coming, Tymber.

5 Love Slave for Two: Stars

So in the Beginnings we meet and fell in love with Tommy and Tyler and we got there story of how they fell in love.

We also meet Nevvie right at the end of their story and in this story we fall in love with Nevvie and get to read as they fall in love with her and she with them.

It’s a crazy dynamic but it works. They all need each other in different ways. Sometimes Tyler needs to be the protector and Nevvie gives him that whereas Tommy likes to be the protector of Tyler.

I love that they all are on the same page, I love that Tyler and Tommy were the ones to save Nevvie from her ex it wasn’t one over the other.

I liked the narration, though sometimes I didn’t like the tones of Nevvie but you kind of learn to like it.
Over all I enjoyed this story .. hence the 2rd read ;)

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

Nevvie made some really bad choices. She's trying to fix it, but it doesn't look like she can do it on her own. Instead of 1 knight coming to save the day, she has two. Tyler and Thomas are hotties who are just too good to be true. I'm not sure what they see in Nevvie. To be honest, I don't find Nevvie to be anything that great. I don't even really feel sympathy for her when she's in trouble. Still, Ms. Dalton writes in a decent voice with humour. I liked her two men, Thomas ans Tyler and felt they would be fine without Nevvie. Thomas's sister not responding well was kind of odd, but I guess that just adds some complexity to the storyline.

So pretty much I accidentatlly downloaded this whole series instead of just the prequel like i intended. And fuck me I wish I hadn't cause I ended up reading all of it. Not cause it was intriguing but because I had a whole day of nothing to do but sit on my ass and the writing/plot wasn't TERRIBLE so what the hell.

Despite being able to drag my broken legs and spirit through the whole book, I in no way "enjoyed" it.

My biggest problem with this book/series was pretty much the fact that there was TOO much. Too much information, too much emotions, too much talking, too much mundane crap I couldn't give to shits about. A lot was happening but nothing was happening .

Yeh, there were some nice sex scenes littered throughout the thing but honestly by the time I got to them I was too exhausted having gotten through everything else to really care about it.

The book before this one (the prequel) ended in a strange place cause the author can't seem to end scenes and open scenes well, often jumping time without warning or explanation. The book ended with Thomas (or was it Tyler they're practically interchangable except for their accents which just make me roll my eyes tbh) looking for a house keeper and then finding one and then wham bam weird ass, out of no where time jump to HEY WE SHOULD BANG HER and then viola welcome Love Slave For Two.

So the rocky semi-start didnt help much either and then it pretty much went the same way the prequel did: TOO MUCH BORING SHIT NOT ENOUGH ACTION. The prequel was a good 100 something pages and yet it felt like fucking 400 and this book (and the following ones after this cause I'm not gonna review fucking all of them, fuck that) was very much the same. It's too much walking to this place, thinking about this thing, making dinner, talking about our feelings, and not enough sex.

I never thought I'd say this since I tend to be like a book a lot more when I'm emotionally invested in a character but DEAR GOD EVERYONE SHUT UP AND GET TO THE SEX ALREADY.

There wasn't much going for the characters, they're a bunch of whiny rich white people with mommy/daddy issues and the haphazard and novice execution of both the scenes and the characters themselves didn't help much either.

Overall like my review for this and the other books after this (cause, remember i read them all by accident): it was MEH. Not terrible but not something I'll remember in t-minus 10 minutes.

This is a review redo
This was a really good book. Nevvie Barton has never truly felt loved or like she belonged anywhere. Abandoned by her adopted family and trapped in an abusive relationship, she takes a job with Tyler Paulson and Thomas Kinsey as their cleaning girl. Tyler and Thomas want Nevvie to be theirs so when they offer her a fulltime live in position she takes it she knows this is her chance to get away. When her boyfriend attacks her Thomas and Tyler come to her rescue. Nevvie thinks that the guys are gay and she is shocked when they tell her that they want her turns out they are bi. This book had some really hot sex scenes in it. I loved this book and the others in it. The trio go through a lot at the hands of Nevvie's ex. This book had me laughing and crying. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. If you like reading hot m/m/f with a storyline than I recommend that you read this series.

I really liked this book a lot. For those of you who don't mind M/M and M/W/M scenes along with just M/W scenes, then you might like to give this book a try. It had a lot of dialog for those of you who enjoy that also. The two Males in this book where so gentle, tender, loving, caring and protective of their woman. They spoiled the heck out of her, It really was sigh worthy. They complimented each other perfectly and I really could feel the love that they all had for each other equally. It took a while for the book to get the heat totally turned on and then it was flaming HOT.

Warning popsickle scene, hahahahahahaha. I never read a popsickle scene before, it was HOT in a cold way.

Did not finish.
Nevaeh (Heaven spelled backwards -insert sarcastic laugh-) is the classic stupid damzell-in-distress. She can't do anything without the help of the two hero.
As for them, I find them to be two cold asshole. Yes they love her but they play with her. They didn't tell her they were bi (they let her thing they were gay to not scare her!!!), tease her for months and even knowing she want them, they make her wait THEIR good moments. It's too calculate, hell they even learned some phrases by heart.

I stop reading after they admit being bi and wanting her for months. Her reaction? "Fuck me!", she said. Yep, she's not angry, just want to have sex.

Not for me.

This one is a rarity. Rather than spend every page "exploring" the polyamorous relationship... there is a real plot, and actual, in-depth character development! You really get to know the characters, their histories, their separate and distinct personalities, their motivations, their strengths/weaknesses, etc. Sure, the sex scenes are explicit, but the story would still be good even if Dalton started with the trio headed for the bedroom, then skipped to, "... and later, they got dressed and made dinner." ;-)

I can't speak for anyone but myself, but being a love slave to two gorgeous, intelligent, kind, compassionate, and loving men is a fantasy I've had, often. As I'm a fan of Tymber Dalton, it stood to reason that I would be intrigued by 'Love Slave for Two', based on the description alone.

Tyler and Thomas have been together for twelve years. They're both bi, although Nevvie thinks they're gay. After six months of her as their cleaning lady, both men are in love with her, and want her with them, forever. Now, how to make that happen? Well, Tyler is, as Thomas calls him, the "evil genius", and they work to convince Nevvie they want her to move in, permanently, and be their personal assistant, helping with both of their jobs. The men help rescue her from her abusive boyfriend, get her moved in, and start working on Nevvie accepting they love her, and that she deserves to be spoiled, and treated like a princess. Of course, they haven't told her they're bi, yet, as they might need to ease her into that knowledge, and the relationship they really want.

Tyler is British born, a former professor, and a full-time author. Thomas is from Georgia, a good Southern boy, who owns his own architecture firm. As much as they love each other, Nevvie brings something, to each of them that's been missing. She loves to help Thomas work on his old truck, or go to hockey games with him. Tyler would've gone, but he doesn't love it the way Thomas and Nevvie do. The reverse is also true, as Nevvie and Tyler take a ballroom dancing class together, while Thomas can barely sway on the dance floor. She fills the little holes that neither even knew were there.

Considering the fact that I believe this is one of the author's earlier published works, I think she did a very good job. There were some things that didn't ring true for me, and it dragged in a few places, however, I enjoyed the story. I really liked Tyler and Thomas, but had a little trouble with Nevvie. That, though, is due to my own dislike of women I perceive as not being "strong". Nevvie is strong, in her own way, and she most definitely shows it in the end.

An enjoyable read from an author I'm beginning to really appreciate for her surprising level of variety in her books. A book that I can definitely recommend.

2.75 stars erotic stars

This is such a deja vu moment. I had to go through my menage folder to figure it out. Well this actually came out maybe 6 months before Barbara Elsborg's Susie's Choice. Meek timid women who are battered and bruised emotionally and physically. Gay couple, one a writer, fall for her as their house worker, maid. They move her in and create a triad and weak timid women flourishes while they protect her. Gay couple, one a writer, move maid into home after falling for her. Hmm... were they talking to one another to see who could write it better?

Reason for stars. Well the main couple had pretty much no chemistry without Nevaeh. I liked them at first. After nevvie, they did not have play time on screen except one scene where Nevvie tells them what to do. I felt their "love slave" play was a bit tired at the end. So as an erotica, this was good/OK but not great. The best part was where they do come together and that was at the 1/2 way point though the push to the 1/2 way point was dragged out. Still, I might have said 3 1/2 at that point in the story but it just went downhill on drag. The set up of her mad and rushing away... after months (6?) really? You do not confront them and this was over the stupidest of things. Wow, she promotes it and she is going to run. That just did it for me. I did like the ending and the court, but thought Alex's attack was over the top. Oh and the guys fighting takes away any chemistry they had until Nevvie brings them back. This is again with Nevvie and not on their own. So ended up just liking that part of the story too. So was between meh, and good.

Update at 67%---------
It is OK. I'm a bit bored but I think it might be more that I'm not in the mood and it is a bit of deja vu. We finally get them together after they miss obvious indicators that all parties are interested. So there is a big set up for the Halloween party and that was actually pretty good but not worth the slog to get there. I mean both characters have the ability to move the relationship forward but don't and neither guy tells her anything, except Tyler saying "do you trust me?" argh. So... not my favorite and very little erotic for erotica, siren publishing.

Years ago, I happened across a description for a story about two men who have a loving, committed relationship and their housekeeper who they have fallen in love with. Unfamiliar with the MM genre, this was one of those times when a completely unexpected book shows up as a suggested read because people who purchased the book you’re considering also purchased it. It seemed interesting and I wanted to read it, but somehow I lost track of it without ever writing down the name of the author or adding it to my tbr for a later date. Fast forward to now and boy am I glad to have accidentally lost the information to the book that caught my interest. That book comes later in this series. Now I get to read them in order and see what the circumstances are that make them the characters that caught my attention in the first place.

At first I was a little thrown, I couldn’t quite understand what was going on and how these characters manage to end up together since the author kept gave us a glimpse of Tommy then we don’t see what becomes of him. Instead we are shown Tyler’s sad tale of looking for love in all the wrong places before he finally meets Tommy. Tyler manages to fall in love several times, get married twice, dabble in BDSM and write best selling novels before he ever meets Tommy. To say that Tyler is quite accomplished is an understatement. However his air of fragility and needing someone to take care of him was at times off putting. I wasn’t sure how successful the relationship would be since he seemed to fall in love so easily throughout the book. However, ever the romantic, I chose to see it as Tyler taking wrong turns in his quest to find someone to love who will love him in return. Thank you, Tommy.

The dynamic was surprisingly good, although it had its moments. The story flowed very well once you realized that this book was not so much about the two of them as it was about Tyler’s journey. That being said, it was a long and sometimes sad journey, but very worthwhile. The real intimacy between Tommy and Tyler is at times breathtaking.

I would highly recommend this to readers of MM romance who want to read about more than just the sex.

Okay. Here I need to make a confession. I like my men to be torured A-Holes. It's a weakness. But that's me. Tyler and Thomas, our heros in this M/M/F menage were a little on the sweet side for my personal taste. So some of my lack of enthusiam is purely a personal preference.

Neveah is our heroine and lucky freakin woman to catch the eye of two studly guys she thinks are gay. And they go on letting her think they are gay, so they can get closer to her. (totally reminds me of a "gay" friend I had who used to go around feeling up chicks...but it was okay. Because he was "gay".) Not being open about your sexuality is not a big issue until you start plotting to use the ambiguity to land the person you want. Then it leaves a little bit of a bad taste in my mouth. I get why the guys did things the way they did. I understand the character motivation, but it still didn't sit well for me.

Also this book has a little bit of the power-play aspect of a BDSM relationship, but other than the use of the title "Masters" and a lone collar/leash scene...this is a very BDSM-lite novel.

When the three finally get together at around 50% of the novel. It was so hot. We got the sex-fest from heaven. They did it for days, and nights, and everywhere in their house. But with all the love and sweetness. I sheepishly confess, I was glad when something bad happened to them, because I was getting a cavity.

After we hit 70%. I could not put the book down. The story rang true for the characters, even though I didn't like them a lot of the time, and it was fast-paced and captivating.

I loved the family dynamic at Thomas' home. Seeing these folks explain their polyamorous life to their parents. That is something I haven't seen in a book before, and I was fascinated.

You get a lot of book for your money here. This is a full fleshy tale, that will definitely have you reaching for your significant other or a toy. The sex scenes were sweet and spicey. Just under a 4 star read for me. I will definitely read more by this author. I love the writing style, but I'm not sold on the characters in this series.

First, let me start with this, I think ménage romance is a very hard niche to write.
Overall this book is alright, I borrowed it from a friend so I didn’t feel like I wasted money on it. But I did have a hard time while reading the book to keep on going especially after about 45% into the book. Some of it was just too predictable, some of it was just so… lame…. It mainly just left me feeling like it could have been so much better. I think overall the author was trying to do too much in one. Same Sex couple with back story + Abused Girl trying to get away + BDSM = proceed with caution.

Here are my reasoning’s:

Plot: Nothing original (Classic damsel in distress saved by perfect men) but not necessarily boring

Characters: The men in this book seemed to be much more solid and well thought out, until about 60% into the book when everything just started falling apart including their personas The female lead’s character kept on swaying from fair maiden to fierce warrior-which didn’t really go well when the author kept on trying to weave in to our minds that she was ‘submissive’.

All in all it just didn’t MESH well, the Smex didn’t have much chemistry even though there was heaps of it, and the characters personas just didn’t stay continuous.. it wasn’t even like ‘evolving’ personas….I’ve read a few other of this author’s books and think she has done better than this before.

Nevvie Barton could never be called anything other than a survivor, with a tough life growing up and an even harder one as ayoung woman her life has been riddled with bad luck and poor choices. The only bright spot in her life has been Tyler Paulson and Thomas Kinsey who she has been cleaning their house once a week. A special bond has developed between the three of them, but Nevvie knows it could never lead to anything since Thomas and Tyler are life long partners.

What Nevvie doesn't understand is that Tyler and Thomas are bi, they are dedicated to one another, but they are also wanting to add Nevvie to their family. With another stroke of bad luck for Nevvie, Tyler and Thomas step in to help her heal and begin a new life, hopefully including them.

Wonderful story. 4.75. It starts off a little crazy trying to figure everything out but overall a riveting tale. Each of the characters have strengths and weaknesses in their makeup, the one beautiful thing about the story is that the three are able to fill in where needed. When they make mistakes, one of the others is willing to step in. Some very intense moments in this story.

This is my first M/M/F romance, and I have to admit to feeling jealous of Nevvie towards the end of the book.

I could think of worse fates than being loved by two men who put your feelings first and always try to make you happy.

Time slips at the end of the story seem clumsy (4 years pass in one sentence then later 4 months have passed then every minute is analysed) but overall I love the story and I love the way the reader left to use their imagination

Completely engaging and I am looking forward to reading the next story in this journey.

It takes FOREVER to get to an actual romantic development. Once there WAS sex, it feels so female centric that you get the feel that the author was afraid to have the male MCs dicks touch.

This girl has like 30,000 orgasms a day, and begs for more all the time. I'm not believing that a girl who is portrayed with a *maybe* at highest a medium libido has somehow skyrocketed to high libido and is good to go for two guys all the time. Does she ever turn them down or say later, because I know that's not exactly hot to show in an erotica but our female MC is coming off way too porn star for my liking.

Seriously, supposedly these guys are into dicks, but I'm rather frustrated.

Looooooooooong subplots that mean nothing, looooooong emotional conversations that I lose interest in, and too many sex scenes that are wet noodles instead of steamy.

Oh wait, hey, there's some actual chance for character development! Pause while I see whether my opinion changes!

Seriously? No.

Just no.

Wow I'm quite impressed. I really loved this MMF story and can't wait for more.

One thing Tymber Dalton does really well is character development. The story doesn't just focus on the sex (although there is quite a lot of awesome sex here). We really get to know Nevvie, Tyler and Thomas. They each have positive and negative traits that make the book richer and more believable. The chemistry between these 3 is scorching hot.

A few things I didn't like...the overkill usage of master/slave nicknames they gave each other in a role playing game. There is no BDSM component here so these names are misleading. I also thought Nevvie way overreacted to this one small event and it has a catastrophic snowball effect. Thomas' reaction is also a bit much. I think everyone should give Tyler break, he's just so sweet.

this book really had potential it really did. I can't tell you how much I really wanted to like it. At first Tyler was charming, sweet, and completely drew you in...then that all changed. He quickly became one of the most damaged/desperate/distrustful human beings ever. To be honest as much as I loved Tommy I couldn't believe the two of them honestly being together because in the real world anyone displaying his behavior would not be in a relationship for long. Despite the fact that their partner was willing to stick with them or not, that level of damage just doesn't get dealt with overnight as the book implied. But what pissed me off even more is that the book jumped around so crazily that you had such a hard time keeping up, and now I'm reading the second with is worse than the first to make sense out of the whole thing. (big mistake).

The whole story lacked emotion.

Character development was solid though I admit to being confused in the beginning as to which of the boys was the classy, cultured one and which was the playful, funny one. It got cleared up eventually but the author made such a big deal about the distinction (as if it was critical to her characters ) that I figured it would have been clearer.

There was a lot of talking through the sex scenes, no flow, warmth. They said they loved eachother a lot so it was weird that during these scenes I couldn't feel the connection.

I bought the second installment so I'll see if it's any better.
