Obsessed Love
Prison didn’t do me any favors. The moment I’m free, I start to put my plan for revenge in motion and hit the road back home. But then, a set of flashing blue lights in my rear view have me slowing down. Stopping.

I love the humour that Mink incorporates into her books. It’s like she recognizes how ridiculous her plots are, and she nods her head at this occasionally through things that the characters say or do. The only other book I read by Mink also heavily featured a ridiculous cat, and I loved every scene that Pikachu was in.
One complaint that I do have is that I didn’t feel like Lovett’s backstory was built up enough. Why is she a cop? Why is she so willing to throw all that hard work away for love? There was a quick sentence saying that she wanted to be a cop so that she would belong somewhere, but I guess I was hoping for more.
All in all, this is a fun, short, steamy read with lots of humour and a bit of action.

This was a little darker than the other book in this ‘series’, Crazy Love.
Just a little though.
It had hints of things that could’ve made it even better, in my opinion.
But we never actually got there. Just got teased with it all.
It was short, sexy, and the plot was simple but dramatic.
I could’ve done with at least one more good sexy scene.
So not my favorite.
But it was still entertaining.

Bruno has just been released from prison after doing two years. The only thing on his mind is getting revenge on the person who sent him away falsely. He is driving away from prison and gets pulled over by Officer Lovett. He kidnaps her and falls instantly in love. Bruno is obsessed with Officer Lovett and makes sure she is treated fairly in his home and gets her to fall in love with him by being sweet and considerate.
Office Lovett is new to the job. She pulls Bruno over and ask to see his license and registration. When she is grabbing his information, he decides to kidnap her and drives away. Officer Lovett wakes up in Bruno home and demands be releases her at once! Bruno and Officer Lovett go back and forth bickering until they come to an agreement that she won’t escape, and the story takes a turn from there.
This story did have some up and downs, but I am going to give it a 3-stars rating for a good plot, but it was still missing something. Either way…good story to check out for a quick read to past the time!

♥️Capturing His Love♥️
𝙊𝙗𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚 reeeaaallly did it for me, and I found it to be such a satisfying read! Bruno was one of MINK’S classic male characters that is so overwhelmed by his feelings when he meets his woman that he’ll do anything to keep her even if it means resorting to something that isn’t really legal.
Bruno was so starstruck by Lovett that he ended up keeping her, and it was so adorable seeing her fall in love with her crazy man as the book went on. We got to see Lovett discover herself as she realized her home would always be with Bruno despite how things started out, and they turned into the couple nobody would doubt is ride or die for one another. I loved everything about this book because we got the ever present cat, the crazy hot love, and some action to go with it before the HEA!

Bruno and Lovett. I am SOOOOO IN LOVE WITH THIS ONE!!! OHHHH!!! Typical beauty and the beast, beauty and the villain.
“Enjoy your time with him. When I get back, it’s just you and me.” I turn and go to the door.
“Untie me so I can pet him!” she cries.
“Not a chance.” I stride out and close the door behind me.
“Asshole,” I hear her hiss.
It makes me smile, because I don’t sense any fear in her. She knows me, somehow. It’s like her body knew it right away, and her mind is catching up to the fact I won’t hurt her. Not until she asks me to, anyway.
After two years’ of prison life, Bruno changes a lot. The life in prison didn’t made him a normal kind man, he became more ruthless, cold, and more insane. But he still was charming, over the top, arrogant and absolutely more Alpha of himself.
I scrunch my nose. “Men are gross. How can you want to be with one person and sleep with another?”
“No clue. Since I laid eyes on you, you're all I want. I’m not a man who settles for less than what he wants. You’re it for me.”
My breath catches. His words shouldn’t give me butterflies, but they do. “You’re a strangely sweet kidnapper.”
A bark of laughter comes from Bruno. “I don’t think anyone has ever called me sweet before, love.” A smile plays on his lips, making him more handsome than he already was.
They storyline was simple, but i am still enjoying reading it. I love reading Mink’s writing, and I love most of her stories I read.
For Lovett, being a police officer is a job. She finally realized It’s clear to everyone what she is to Bruno. She’s different for him. She’d caged the beast. Done something no one else could ever do. That beast belongs to her. Bruno may not have done things the conventional way, but she would never doubt that he loves her.
For the first time in as long as I can remember, tears spring to my eyes. I can’t lose her. Not when she’s made my life so full of love and hope and family.
“I love you, crazy kidnapper Bruno.” Her words are slurred.
“I love you, too, innocent Officer Lovett.” I will not lose my Love like this, not when I’ve only just found her.
Bruno might be this scary man that does what he wants, but the reality is that while he did take her, he sits in the palm of her hand. Something inside of her settles.
She snorts a laugh and hugs me tight. “I love you, bad man.”
“And I love you, Officer Lovett.” I kiss her hair.
Revenge is sweet, no doubt. But my life with Love is far, far sweeter.
I also love their epilogue, so so sweet!!!♥️♥️♥️

Absurd plot, yet I still read it anyway. It was a novella so I expected it to be short and quick. So quick that both of them were falling in love within the course of a day, technically less than 24 hours, but hey it's fiction so I can accept the ridiculousness of the plot.
Stockholm syndrome is on point here. It probably helps too that the guy is good looking, even if he was crazy abducting a cop because he thinks she's the one.
Anyway, it was still an okay read, with an unbelievable plot but I want my escape in a fictional world. So if I have to read a book with an unreasonable plot then so be it. 😂

Short, steamy book which I weirdly liked. I shouldn't like the kidnapping nor what followed right after but it was soooo hot. The insta love kinda bummed me out. I would have liked it if the relationship had developed a bit more. The revenge plot was well written. The ending? Perfect 😉❤

Bruno Cavetti has only thought of one thing while he was in prison, getting revenge on the man who set him up and put him in there. That changes when he meets Officier Lovett. As soon as he sees her, he has to have her so he steals her right off the side of the road. Thus begins Obsessed Love. Mink has done well with this story of love being the strongest force there is, even over the power of revenge. That is not to say that Bruno gives up on it - let’s be honest if you were set up and sent to prison would you give it up for love?
Seeing the connection between Lovett and Bruno grow as they figure out what their love means to each other, how they are not really broken but rather incomplete without the other, is a key theme to Mink’s works. What sets this book from any other is the lack of build up. I would have liked to see a little more before they became intimate but for the story itself it was perfect so it is just a personal preference.
While the story may be too short and quick for some I enjoyed how the internal thinking of the character enabled me to see their perspective and therefore their growth into an actual couple. Some say that it's not how you begin but how you end up, which a perfect saying for this couple.

For 2 years Bruno was left in prison for a crime he didn't commit. 2 longs years to plan his revenge on his business associate who decided to stab him in the back. So when Bruno steps foot out of that prison he has nothing on his mind but planning his revenge...at least that was all that was on his mind until he saw the officer walking up to his window after she pulled him over.
(Nothing is mentioned about his sexual history before going to prison) Bruno hasn't felt like this with anybody, so he knows he has to have her...and he's not one to ask. So instead he kidnaps her. After all he can tell that Officer Lovett has some darker needs hiding behind those innocent virgin eyes, and he's just the guy to give it to her.
I liked this story. This is one storyline that is a definite guilty pleasure of mine.
However, if I had any complaints, I wish the epilogue would've been further out in the future. I want to see how Bruno is with his owl loving son and a daughter.

He gets pulled over by her and he knocks her out and kidnaps her because she’s his. She’s annoyed and angry he kidnapped her and he always hides the truth but not with her in a game of question for question. He ties her up to make sure she doesn’t escape but finally lets them go. Police officers at her force are getting suspicious and driving around and she has an encounter with one of them who is a good one and tells him to leave because she’s in love. He claims her obviously. He kills her ex boyfriend who was her former instructor just because he hit her. You go girl🤷🏻♀️. Anyways she feels nauseous so she goes out to which she isn’t supposed to, to a pharmacy and she doesn’t have cash to buy a pregnancy test so some guy pays for her and that guy is Massimo. They have a shoot out at the police station between Massimo and Bruno who eventually comes with the thought that she’s dead but she’s fine. This man was going to sacrifice himself when he locked her in a jail cell and that won him points. When it was all over and he killed Massimo, she had shards of glass in her leg that nearly killed her like I cried. He was so sad it wasn’t funny. HEA and kids, Henri and Luci.

I really liked this story. It was different but entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable. I think my favorite character was Deputy Azores with his desire to protect/save Love (Officer Lovett) while being half-deaf and running around in an older car against mobsters. There was some violence but I would still classify it as Mafia Lite. Bruno was protective, possessive, and definitely obsessed with Love (Officer Lucille Lovett) the moment that he sees her. Love was innocent but with dark desires that she wrestles with. They seem like total opposites but are they? Love and Bruno somehow fit each other perfectly. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

so far, my goodreads recommendations never fails to recommend good books with tropes that i am such a sucker for and this book is what i am talking about!
even though the story doesn't have the most flawless plot out there, i don't care, because the tropes, romance, and the smut really delivered! i also think that the author really intended to focus on those three aspects, so she really did an amazing job for that.
the kidnapping, falling in love with my kidnapper, and obssession, are the tropes that i want to see in some of my romance books (especially dark romances) and this particular story has all of that. also, bruno and love's character dynamics and chemistry was just phenomenal! if all of these sounds good to you, then i highly recommend!

Dark, fun, and full of action of all kinds.
This is a perfect example of the author's sweet and gritty style. An ex-con fresh out of jail falls madly in love with a cop when she stops his car for speeding. Kidnapping happens fast and furious!
I had a wonderful time with this delicious little story about a bad crime boss who goes tender and lustful for his little innocent, law-abiding officer Lovett.
Captive bed times ensue, a naughty cat is involved, revenge backfires in a dramatic sequence of events, and love conquers all in this novella that's hilarious at times, loving all the time, and hot when it counts.

Shorter read with lots of sexy time. Bruno is a newly released convict who's only goal is revenge on the man who falsely imprisoned him. Fair warning, Bruno may not have done the crime he served time for, but trust me, this man is far from innocent. He's done more than his fair share of crimes in the past and has zero issues with doing even more in the future, evident is his actions with Officer Lovett. It only takes one look at the gorgeous officer who pulls him over, for him to immediately know he has to claim her. I'm a sucker for an OTT jealous/possessive Hero and Bruno is all that and more. It's definitely an insta love scenario but one that kept me interested and entertained the entire time (especially when it came to scenes involving Bruno's extra hot methods of persuasion 🔥 🔥 🔥 )

The day Bruno gets out of jail for a crime he didn't commit he gets pulled over by Officer Lovett. He had originally planned to get revenge first thing, but his instant attraction bumps kidnapping her to the top of the list. Being kidnapped by a career criminal is obviously not the top of her list for the day.
Not bad but there's not a lot of good I could say. The premise is strange and kinda works, but is really hard to suspend my disbelief for. None of the characters were really interesting. It all just kinda felt like it was happening, I wasn't really invested in it. I'm not mad I read it, but won't be rereading it.

It all just kinda felt like it was happening, I wasn't really invested in it. I'm not mad I read it, but won't be rereading it.

Obsessed Love is another impossibly perfect masterpiece by Mink. She knows how to create characters who seep into our heart and soul and leave us changed. Her words help to sooth, encourage, and uplift our spirit as we move our mountains from day to day. She is am author who lights us my world and brings hope when I desperately need it.
Mink has created another wonderful gift with this story. She seriously blunts the hard edges of my life and gives me room to breathe, feel, and dream. She is a wonderfully gifted author who never fails bring a smile to my face with her gorgeous heart.

I couldn't put this book down! I loved Bruno and Lucille (Love) together. I loved the connection and chemistry these two. Love has finally found a place where she feels like she belongs and that is with the last person she thought it would ever be with, Bruno. Bruno has found the thing that is sweeter than revenge, and that is Love. This was a fantastic book and I can't wait to see what Mink has in store for us next! I would highly recommend this book and Mink as a must read author.

All Bruno needs is Love.
Bruno just got out of prison after a two year sentence for a crime he didn't commit. While driving home and plotting his revenge against the guy who set him up, he gets pulled over by a small town police officer. Officer Lovett is just patrolling her beat when she pulls over a man who just blew through her town without even obeying the traffic laws. When Bruno sees Officer Lovett he decides she will be his even if it means he has to kidnap her. This is a great read and I highly recommend it!

Love and Bruno
Bruno is a very bad man. There's not a lot he hasn't done and after 2 years in prison, he is ready to get revenge on the people that double-cross him and framed him for a murder he didn't commit. Not that he hasn't done those in the past, but that is not the point. The last thing he expects is to be stopped by small-town police in a deserted riad or that he would fall for her on the spot. So what a bad man to do in such a circumstance? Kidnapping, of course. Great plot, packed with action, tension, and red hot romance. Highly recommended
