This amazing MC romance is a fantastic addition to the series “Screaming Demons MC” & the continuation of the story from “Rough Choice #3”into this book “Rough Return #4” is smooth & flawless. The characters (Grier & Fiona) are quite complex individuals & have excellent chemistry between them but at times they are quite confrontational & react with realistic emotions to the unconventional situations they find themselves in. The well-paced plot is intriguing & full of unexpected situations. There are good scene descriptions & world building.
There is: a deathbed request from the president (Max) of the Screaming Demons MC forces Grier & Fiona to marry each other, a caring friend (Sage), MC riders, twists & turns, drama, suspense, manipulations, ultimatums, secrets, threats, danger, violence, some steamy scenes, suspicions, setups, possible traitors, deceit, discovery, reluctance, distrust, jealousy, emotional turmoil, manipulations, decisions, verbal conflict, confrontations & accusations. Sadly this book does end in a cliffhanger & I look forward to the next book with great anticipation.

Fiona came and got Grier for her dad Max. Grier went back to the MC because he felt it was the right thing to do. He is stunned when Max tells him that he wants him to marry Fiona. Fiona is fighting the feelings she still feels for Grier even after he broke her heart. After they get married Max doesn't live long but he got to see her married. Things start going wrong after her father passes trucks aren't arriving with the items intact or go missing altogether. Grier has his suspicions but he doesn't tell Fiona until its set in stone. Will Grier find out who is behind the missing trucks? Can he see that he is supposed to be with Fiona? Will Fiona give him a third chance at her heart?


This is an amazing series and each story just gets better then the last. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This is the fourth book in the Screaming Demons MC Series and is a great addition. This is Fiona and Grier's story and it is steamy. Their chemistry is explosive. Lots of drama, plenty of action and no shortage of twists. Fiona's the daughter of Max, the ailing president of the Steaming Demons and she's taken over for him. Lots of turmoil and love/hate between Fiona and Grier. Trust issues galore and throw in some suspense and violence. This series just gets more intense and is hard to put down once you start reading. I received this ARC from Bad Boy Update and I voluntarily chose to write a review. Strong characters, an intense page-turning plot and well written dialogue.

I loved this book but then again, I love reading about MC clubs, especially when they have very hot bikers trying to prove that not all bikers are bad!

Rough Return is the start of Fiona and Grier's story. Fiona is the daughter of Max, the president of the Screaming Demons who is wants revenge on Grier and Kye after they left. Fiona has always had a crush on Grier and offered to not only find him, to bring him back but to take the next step in the plan - marriage.

Their story continues to keep you on the edge as Fiona fights her feeling for Grier and uncertain of his loyalty's. Grier struggle with his heart for Fiona and the club.

Amazing story that has you wanting to know what is next.

Rough Return Book # 4 by Summer Cooper is another suspenseful story filled with drama, violence and betrayals. The story picks up when Grier and Fiona are returning back to the Screaming Demons MC. Now Grier's fate is up in the air as Fiona keeps provoking him as to what her father and his men are going to do to him as he is branded a traitor. Through all of the banter back and forth between these two, the sexual tension is at an all high. When they return, Grier is finally told by Max what is expected from him, he needs to marry his daughter or else. Will Grier be able to stay with her as this feisty woman will not give in inch. Fiona keeps taunting Grier by hiring a bodyguard who just might have his own agenda trying to come between them telling lies and causing trouble with Grier. Will these two alpha personalities finally give into the desire they have for each other or will this love hate relationship they have destroy them both? Now with Fiona running the club and Grier working behind the scenes, they are still fighting their feelings for each other. When Fiona has to deal with a heartbreak Grier will be by her side helping her anyway he can as she now is running the club. Even after his death, Max is pulling these two together as new demands he has made in his will is going to effect both of them, will they be able to meet his conditions?

With the changes Fiona is making within the club, trouble is surrounding them as the club runs are going missing and Grier is determine to find out who is stealing from the club. When these two finally come together, the passion between them is explosive and steamy but their reunion is short lived as these two keep fighting against what they truly want until Fiona has to tell Grier she is pregnant. Will Fiona and Greir finally confess to each other how they feel?When Fiona is in danger, things will take a turn as once again Grier is being portayed as a traitor, will Fiona stand by him or will she believe these lies even when Grier confesses his love to her. Can Grier prove his innocence, and what does he know about the person who is framing him. Can Grier trust anyone in the club? Can he end this threat against the Screaming Demons MC and protect his family? This story had so many twists and turns that you will be on edge as we have to wait for the next book to find out what is going to happen next. This series is a must read!!! This is the first full book devoted to Grier and Fiona, Max’s daughter. It is Max’s dying wish that Grier and Fiona get married so Fiona will have someone to help run the MC. Fiona has been in love with Grier since her teenage years. This story could have been so good but the inconsistencies between this book and the previous three had me wondering if the same person even wrote this book. Max was an evil, vile person in the first three books, but somehow in this book he is made out to be the loving, doting father, even though most people close to him didn’t even know he had a daughter.

Additionally, Fiona is supposed to be this tough MC president but she has no idea what is going on in her club and makes some pretty stupid decisions. One of those stupid decisions ends up attacking her and she blames Grier for not being there to protect her. She’s the president of a MC and can’t protect herself?? And there is the fact that she is the “white picket” fence type but her club is trafficking women, but she probably has no idea that that is actually happening as this is never referenced in this book.

Another inconsistency is when Sage is telling Fiona that they aren’t an international club but the first book talks about how Kye was running their overseas division and that was why he was so clueless of the trafficking going on in his club. I had high hopes for Fiona and Grier’s story but I thought this book was too annoying to be good. Maybe their next book will be better.

This book in the series focuses on Grier and Fiona with them returning to the Screaming Demons club following the end of book 3 when she showed up in Belize. The writing is very well continuing with a different set of characters since Kye and Eliana have made it through all of the conflicts that came their way.

I have read other series that do switch to a different character in the following book, but the other characters were still hanging off a cliff and just vanished. I went to the next and the next that followed just pushing off the character the actual series is named after. This series does not. Kye and Eliana found their happiness, but Kye’s bff is still looking for his without sitting here wondering what happened to them.

Grier has a hard time really coming clean about his wants and desires for Fiona because of what Max had been stern about in the past. Despite the demands by Max changing 180, Grier denies himself so much that when he and Fi finally are with each other, neither of them seem to know what is happening between them emotionally. It’s like they feel the same but feel like they aren’t showing it. Either way, I’m so ready for book 5.

I enjoyed reading this book. I love the suspense through out the story, I like the fact that I can never tell what is going to happen next. The relationship between Grier and Fiona is complicated, they both are very proud and do not want to admit their true feelings for each other, for different reasons but the cannot fight the fire between them when they come together. I think someone in the club is trying to set up Grier so they can put a wedge between him and Fiona but will they succeed and for how long. I hope she listens to Sage's advice and trust him because her dad trust him to be her husband, inspite of the fact that he ran and supposedly betrayed them. I find the story interesting, intriguing, suspenseful and gripping. It is also romantic, even with the strained relationship between the two main characters. As a matter of fact, it makes the romance more interesting, because they are so starved for each other due to their denial, they combust, explode you name it. Its just scorching between them when they come together. I cant wait for the next book.

“Rough Return” deals mainly with Grier’s character and Fiona the woman he left behind. Each book in this series is more complicated, dangerous and all-consuming. From the time Fiona was a teenager, she has been in love with Grier but he rejected her and she has never forgiven him. Although Grier has always wanted Fiona, she is max’s daughter and Max has warned Grier away from Fiona. Now Max is almost dead and Fiona has come for Grier and his companions. She threatens to have all three murdered if Grier refuses to come back to pine hill. Grier must marry Fiona and help her run the screaming demons after her father’s death. Unfortunately, many members of the Screaming Demons believe that Grier is a traitor and want him dead. There are so many twists and turns I can’t begin to tell all. “Rough Return” is an intense, emotional, fast-paced, nail biting tale that kept me hostage until the final word. I’m still waiting for the conclusion of this engrossing series and anxiously look forward to the next exciting experience.

Grier was a great friend to Kye – he left the MC to help him with his true love. While they are all enjoying their time in Belize, they notice someone is watching the compound they are now living in. When they catch the woman, Grier realizes it is none other than Max’s daughter Fiona. He was one of the few who knew he had a daughter and was even her “protector”.

Fiona has come back for Grier – she is set to take over the MC once her father passes and Grier must marry her for that to happen. Fiona is out for payback – she has always loved Grier, but he wouldn’t give her the time of day. She wants to make him want her and then she will drop him like a hot cake! Grier is willing to go back to Pine Hill if it will keep Kye and Eli safe.

Buckle up – there are a lot of ups and downs, twists and turns, lies, secrets and a will that places more obligations than either Fiona or Grier knew about. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the 4th book of Screaming Demons series. I am extremely happy that Grier gets his story and hopefully an hea. I liked Grier’s character when he was with kye and had some sweet moments with Eli so I was expecting great things with Fiona. It seems that both characters have a deep love for each other but are too proud to admit to it although she’s crushed on him for years. Their relationship blows hot and cold for me, seem very reluctant to trust each other and are quick to think the worst of each other. I liked this book don’t get me wrong but I don’t feel as invested as I did with Kye and Eli. it’s a well written book, I love the authors and having read a lot of their books I can’t wait for the next book. Be warned this book also ends on a cliffhanger. I recommend it, although to get to know the characters it’s best to read the previous ones. Tvm. This is my honest review of the arc book.

Safety- there’s attempted S.A. and the story ends in a cliffhanger.
Triggers- the Biker’s Trifecta (explicit erotic content, language, violence), attempted S.A., discussion of trafficking.
Tropes- Marriage of Convenience/Arranged Marriage/Forced Marriage, Club Princess, Madam President, Secret Crush, Secrets and Lies, Badsass Heroine (Amazon has a very liberal view of what it considers profanity).
What I liked- so many twists and turns! This book was never boring. I also liked both main characters and the energy between them.
What I didn’t- Max goes from an evil, trafficking you-know-what to father of the year? And the club turns around that fast? Also, they wasted a lot of time not having zexytime.
Verdict- I can’t wait to read the next book.

Things just keep heating up for Grier?
Grier has betrayed the club and especially Max in so many ways. First by falling for his daughter, Fiona. Next by choosing Kye over his club.
Fiona shows up on his little island paradise in Belize with a ridiculous request. Grier does what he has to do to keep Kye safe. He goes home with Fiona to face a dying Max. He’s give two choices marry Fiona or death. But Max doesn’t really give him a choice. That’s how Grier finds himself married to the love of his life. But their married life is anything but happy. Fiona is pregnant and feeling alone more than ever. Their life is filled with secrets, lies, betrayal and stolen shipments. Who can Fiona trust when the evidence is stacked against Grier.
Can Grier price his innocence to the woman he loves more than life itself?

Rough Return is book 4 of Screaming Demons MC which follows the story of Fiona and Grier. I thought Rough Return to be quite suspenseful and a page-turner. I also thought the book to be quite entertaining in the way each of the characters are being expressed throughout the story. I absolutely enjoyed the various action-packed sequences throughout this story. I find Fiona to be a strong willed and feisty, while Grier I found to be someone who keeps things to himself so that way it won't effect those he cares about. Rough Return had me at the edge of my seat wanting to find out what would happen next between Fiona and Grier. I think author Summer Cooper is doing an outstanding job of writing Screaming Demons MC books and I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

I just truly adore the decision that these two Authors made to collaborate and help one another, because the outcome is.... Simply Exquisite.

The Screaming Demons MC Romance Series is one that I am completely addicted to and keeping impatiently waiting to read the next installment, yet savoring every word I read as well.

I am not one of those reader's that review books unless I love them, and without giving anything away, I can honestly say that this entire Series, and every single publication, in this Series is 100% worth your time and attention. Only is you are looking for creativity and great storylines should you buy this release. As for myself, I'm onto Rough Patch now. Grief and Fiona now have me hooked into this Brotherhood of bada$$'s.

We finally get the story on Grier! This book continues from where the last one finished.
Fiona and Grier have a history that has left its mark on both of them. Max is on his deathbed but he wasn’t done with his manipulations.
I loved this book! It may even be my favorite so far! I’d been dying for Grier’s story from the beginning of this series and wow, what a doozy! The chemistry between Grier and Fiona was off the charts scorching! I really loved both of them but there were a few times I wanted to smack Grier! Of course, this one also ends with more secrets and a cliffhanger. Grrrr.....I’m desperate to find out what happens next!!!!

This is Grier and Fiona’s beginning story. When Fiona was a teen, Grier was her bodyguard. Fiona crushed big on Grier, and when she tried to seduce him, he turned her down and walked away. He has been in Belize for the past couple of years and is now coming back home. He doesn’t know if he will live or die. I don’t want to say too much, otherwise it will give too much away. This has so much suspense, action, lies, secrets truths revealed, deceptions, twists and turns. Grier and Fiona have amazingly hot chemistry and they have a deep attraction for each other. Will they make it together, or will everything they want come crumbling down? This is a great start to Grier and Fiona and can’t wait to read their next part.

Couldn’t finish

I couldn’t finish this book, therefore I couldn’t justify a one star rating because I couldn’t truly rate it as a whole. I got about 60% through and figured I shouldn’t waste my time reading crap. I don’t understand how the female lead goes from not being able to stand her dad to regarding him has the one main man in her life that means the most even though he was a POS. He went from loathed, to hero in her eyes. In fact did both the leads forget they hated her dad Max, who endorsed trafficking women??!! It’s like I didn’t read the end of the last book which set the stage for their love story. Complete garbage. There are so many more things I disliked about this book I don’t even feel like wasting my time typing it all out.

This s the fourth book in this series. This installment features Grier and Fiona. She'd crushed on him when she was a teenager, and his being older than her, could not act on the feelings she inspired within. Her father was the leader of the Screaming Demons MC, and Grier looked up to him, wouldn't dare to so much as touch Fiona. After he left town with Kye and Eliana to their island, where Fiona found them and gave Grier an ultimatum, either return to Pine Hill with her or the three of them would die together. These books have been amazing so far, and no disappointment in any at all.

This story picked up where the last one ended. Fried had taken his ND best friend's girl to Belize to.protect her until Kye could get tgere. Then Fiona, the MC President's daughter came and got him to return with her in exchange for leaving his friends alone. When he returned the dying President gave him the choice to marry his daughter or be killed. He had been her bodyguard when she was going and the President has told him he would kill him if he touched her. Now they got married, but he couldn't be with her. When her father died his will left them stipulations that had to be fulfilled. There was a lot of intrigue but a cliffhanger. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy.

This is book 4 in the Screaming Demons series and we are back with Grier and Fiona. There are twists and turns upon twists and turns. Just when you think you might have it figured out or at least are going in the right direction...BAM! Plot twist! These two want each other so bad but are too proud to admit what they think is a weakness. Some unknown is gunning for Grier and is REALLY making him look bad!

Even though I make it sound confusing, it all makes a weird kind of sense after you’re done reading. In this book we end with another cliffhanger with Grier wanting to explain to Fiona but he can’t without endangering innocent people. Stay tuned for book 5…

I'm so happy that Fiona and Grier got their own story. Grier and Fiona have secretly loved each other for years but he felt she deserved someone better than him. Now to get back into Max's good graces before his death, he must marry Max's only living heir Fiona. Unfortunately with Grier's return comes doubt and mistrust among some members of the Screaming Demons and eventually Fiona herself. Rough Return is a thrilling new book the Screaming Demons series filled with doubt, fear, heartache, mistrust, danger, secrets, passion, and love. A well written and dangerous must read book that readers won't want to put down.

Rough Return in the M/C Gang

Fiona - a fiery young temptress who has her eyes on seducing Grier. Grier has to keep away from her if he values his life. She finds where he's been hiding & he returns with her. Promises to her dad on his deathbed has their future tied together to continue his (Max's) legacy. Grier's return to the M/C fold is not make a smooth ride for them as a couple. Doubts circulate in the group as well as between them. Innuendos, lies & vivid imaginations make this book as a must-read. This couple aren't the only ones feeling frustrated in how the story goes! A cliff-hanger continues into book #5.

This is the 4th book in this series and is a great addition to this series.
Grier left everything behind, including the only family that he ever knew, and has returned with Fiona, and he is determined to get what he wants out of life, and that includes Fiona, whom he has a love / hate relationship with.
This is a well written story which is action packed, with emotions, danger, suspense, intrigue, romance, secrets, second chances, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, twisted, unpredictable, and steamy addictive page turner.

I love this 4th book in the series. Fiona and Grier have so much chemistry but both are not willing to admit it. Grier, Elainia, and Kye escaped to Belize. Fiona went after Grier and told him if he came back to the MC with her, they would all live. Grier went back with her to let Elainia and Kye live their happily ever after. Max wants Grier to marry his daughter (Fiona) and take care of her because he is dying. Lots of twists and turns, danger and romance that will keep you turning the pages. I received the ARC from Bad Boy Update. I am loving this series! This is Grier's story. He has agreed to return with Fiona to face Max. What neither of them expect is for Max to demand that Grier marry Fiona to secure her position in the MC. Oh, and he has to get her pregnant! There is so much drama going one between them, inside the club, with the new guard, it fabulous! There are times when I wanted to smack them both, but you need all the tension and anger (and passion) to really understand their characters. I can't wait for the next book....i NEED TO KNOW what happens next!!!
