We need to be open to creativity.
Megan Lotts provides multiple examples on how libraries achieve this goal.
Inspiring both adult and juvenile audiences in "makerspace" like activities, just to allow for creativity provides the most human individual experience for library users and us as people.

Multiple spaces/initiatives are shown here.

Personally, I wasn't impressed by the book overall, as it almost exclusively focused on how to create creative spaces in programming (yes that's the title), but it didn't feel like it was..."advancing". Many of the ideas of this book have been seen in many a library services group. I guess that is a good thing that its in a book so there's more of a one-stop shop, but just felt a bit lackluster to me.

A commendable guide for library professionals seeking to infuse more creativity into their work. It serves as a valuable resource for those looking to navigate the evolving landscape of library services. Practical insights and inspiring case studies--this book is well worth the read

Nothing new to see here. It’s also geared toward city and academic libraries. Though the ideas are universal, I just found it less applicable.

While useful to academic librarians with a focus on (fine) arts, has limited potential for scalability to other fields of librarianship
