A great action packed book in the series which surprisingly didn't take place in Andomhaim. Instead it took place mostly in the Frankish empire another world reached by a world gate. Where third and Selene had ended up. Helping with battles there they met new enemies and new allies as well for which might even help them in their own home of Andomhaim but they had to find a way to return if that was even possible. With more challenges ahead for Selene and third will they be able to find their way back to Andohaim to help their friends in their world or will the friends they have in their world be over run by the two armies for which currently attack them.

Third

We get to spend our time in the Frankish Empire with Third an Selene. We're they meet The Guardian Rilmael, Tyrcambers an Ruari. Third gets to learn more about herself an how to bring forth her feelings. Third goes through a lot in this story. She learns how to love another with her heart. She becomes the 3rd DRAGONTIARNA KNIGHT. Bravo Third it's about time, grab that gold ring an hang on tight it's your time to shine.

I am a big fan of the many characters in this series. Some, like Ridmark Arban and Calliande I followed from the first book from the Frozen series, a series that I think is the author's most popular.

Unfortunately, because it's a series that's a sequel to several other series I believe it's a more difficult to get into. The author does a great job introducing the characters and incorporating the background of each character in such a manner as not to confuse a newcomer. Still, to fully appreciate the awesomeness that's Third and Selene (who in my opinion deserves her own book) I would recommend picking up Frostborn and the Sevenfold series. Also, the preceding series of Malison to explore why Malison the world is so absolutely different than any other world created within Jonathan Moeller's shared universe.

In this book, Third and Selene dealt with being stranded on Malison after a portal at the end of the previous book. For the two former urdrahoci with centuries of combat experience, the abundance of foes, they have landed in the middle of enemy territory after all, proves to be a challenge. Just not a very big one until they have to face one of the immensely powerful Heralds of Ruin.

The series so far, explored Ridmark's world more than Malison. It was nice to see the action set on Malison. It highlighted the dangers of using too much magic and the process of transformation into a dragon, willing or otherwise. The interactions between Third and Selene had a great deal of humour. It's however, Third's book and it was wonderful to see her reacting not as a soldier, advisor and survivor of many battles, but as a unique being that experiences emotions despite the massive trauma she has experienced before.

The drop of diesel in this otherwise fun book is that I find the romance and the associating emotions are far too quickly and easily resolved as opposed to say the romance between Ridmark and Calliande in the Frostborn series.

Highly recommend it, but would advise to start with the beginning of the series at least. Preferably, start with the Frostborn series and work your way up.

This series, much like the previous two isn't messing around and I'm not sure my emotions can take it. The action picked up immediately from the previous book from the series, which was just as well, given the cliffhanger, and then leapt into plot twists. Most of them were unexpected, but sadly, I guessed the two big ones, but the climax was still delicious. The resolution raised a few more questions, and I can't wait to continue this series.

Totally addictive

As with all of Ridmark Arban and friends sagas, I can't get enough. These books are my guilty pleasures, like rich dark chocolate and a glass of red wine. They may not nurture the intellect, but dang they are so enjoyable going down. Can't wait to continue the story.

Engrossing read

The book takes you away from Ridmark, and centres around The Lady Third, but it certainly not a third rate story. In fact it's a real gem and very engrossing, as usual the author builds towards its peak, by using great storylines. I'm looking forward to the next instalment.

Dragontiarna Wraiths

Disembark and his friends continue the battle against the heralds of ruin and third and selene are pulled through the great eye to the Frankish Empire. Third becomes a dragontiarna knight. Disembark has joined with the high king and his son as the March to do battle against the Dragon cultists. It will be interesting to see what happens next in the story.

Wraiths

This book was of course a fun read and had a few errors throughout. The characters and plot has developed well through the series and overlaps worlds and characters alike. Some of the plot was a little predictable but overall fun I look forward to the next book.

I like how the characters in this series are not static but evolve. Ridmark alone has had at least three incarnations and even his latest has been tweaked by Antenora to shorten his recovery time. Third may need to change her name to Fourth after this.

Another great book in the bag

I really enjoy the writing style of Moeller. When new books of his come out I stop reading the other books I am in and focus on his. Not disappointed so far.

Good

This story was good. It was nice seeing different sides of Third and Rilmael. Those two really surprised me in this book. I wonder if Third will ever make it back to Andomhain. It was nice to finally know why the Frankish world was so different as well.

Possibly the best of the Dragontiarna Books so far.
New love stories, surprising changes and the introduction of the clocked elves from the Malison's world. Keeps you wanting more.

Brilliant as usual in my opinion. I could read Moeller until the cows come home.
Unfortunately, like most epublished books I find numerous grammatical & spelling errors & just came close to making my own due to typos.
