Oh la la hitman hero!!! This is a first reading this author and it was a good book had some steam, action and drama.

Sadie walks in on her fiance messing around with someone in their house a week before their wedding and she loses it she set his clothes on fire and took a bat to him!! Can I say YASHH!!!! alil heartbroken because of the years she spent she went on the honeymoon by herself and had a plan relax and fk someone. And jt happened to be Cal a "retired" hitman who is enjoying his vacation and he's happy to give Sadie that O.. and many after.. but their Is a problem hitman/killers are on the island and Cal shall do anything to protect his new girl and be at all when she learns he a killer and she's sorta okay with it. My only problem is Sadie... she was cool and all but girl did not know when to shut up.... to me she was trying to hard to be funny and cute but sometimes it was cringy.

Honeymoon Hitman is overflowing with awesomeness! I can't help but gush and rave over it. I can’t even count how many times I laughed out loud while reading this book. The humor is just that fantastic! This romcom was spot on, its also sexy, witty, emotional with all the feels and more! Sadie and Cal will steal your heart right out from under you and trust me when I say, you will not want it back! The sparks between these two characters fly off of the pages, leaving you in a constant state of romantic bliss. It’s sexy. It’s hilarious. It’s romantic. It’s beautiful and heartwarming. Once I picked this baby up, there was NO going back!

From the moment they meet sparks fly. Their chemistry is off the charts. Sadie and Cal spend an amazing few days together, they take chances with each other and their red hot romance sizzles off the pages of this book. They captured my attention and didn’t lose it until the last page. These two meshed almost seamlessly. Their chemistry was intense, which made for some amazing sexual tension. They were phenomenal together, I loved them as a couple and their story was so riveting to read.

Jacob Chance creates an enchantingly addictive love story that bursts with belly aching laughter, intimacy, suspenseful drama and romance. I was delighted with their quick and flirty banter, thoroughly amused by their antics and touched by the lengths they went through to be together. A wild, sexy, and heart-filled adventure of two strangers who meet in the most unlikely of places. This laugh out loud and heartwarming romantic comedy is a unique twist on romance, and the whole storyline was just a huge amount of fun. I loved everything about it and the ending was perfect.

Such a fun and sexy read. The author takes us on an action-packed ride that will keep you laughing.

Sadie is on a solo honeymoon after her dirtbag fiancè showed his true colors. All she wants is a relaxing getaway so that she can let go of the past and embrace a new future.

Cal is on a vacation/business trip. He never expects that the sexy woman he stumbles upon will become one hot night that turns into more than just a vacation fling.

It’s a little more complicated than that, but enjoy this crazy ride. The author delivered some serious subjects lightened with humor throughtout that will leave you smiling. Sadie is the best. You will love her off-the-wall humor! Cal is all alpha male, a protector to his core. The two are a perfect balance.

The perfect summer or anytime read to just kick back and indulge!

Ok, I'm just going to come right out and say this...Jacob Chance is the KING of Romantic Suspense! Absolutely loved it! Sadie is hilarious and I may just have a girl crush on her and Cal is tall, dark, dangerous and oh so sexy! Between being on the edge of my seat or literally laughing out loud, I was fanning myself over the hot, sexy scenes. Jacob brought it all to this story and I hated to see it end!

Really good

I enjoyed reading this book. It was short, but it sure was packed with action, mystery, and rom-com. Cal and Sadie were a great couple. I liked the dialogue between them. There was a lot of suspending my disbelief, but it IS a story. I can't wait to read the next book in the series about Lynch which comes out around July 2022.

This is such a fun, crazy, hilarious, and adventurous ride. I definitely had so much fun reading Sadie and Cal's story. I wished their story was longer. This is the kind of story you never expected but never want to end.

I loved both Sadie and Cal's characters. Sadie is freaking hilarious with her shenanigans. And Cal is one sexy hitman that might just bring an unexpected and exciting tryst during her solo honeymoon. I loved it! I definitely enjoyed this story a lot.

Shhh don’t tell anyone this, but although I have at least one other Jacob Chance book on my Kindle app, this is the first book of his I’ve read. Why have I waited so long to do so?

Honeymoon Hitman had me from the first sentence. The scene was set, the deed being done and the crazy that occurred throughout the book just got better every page.

Sadie Benson was not about to let cheating ex-fiancé Brian get away with anything. If anyone was going to take advantage of the honeymoon it wasn’t going to be him. Sadie took herself off for a few days of recovery from cancelling the wedding and the rest to prove she could still get a man, even if it is on her “honeymoon.”

Cal Cayne couldn’t sleep at night, worse, he was pretty sure he was going to leave his current job (as a hitman) and go into Private Security. Before making all the changes he was going to have to make he took a working holiday job at a resort in Laferla Bay.

After some covert surfer watching on Sadie’s part and Cal catching a tipsy Sadie from falling flat on her face, Cal and Sadie have met and mayhem is about to begin.

From sheep on the road to the airport, to an island full of potential trouble, Cal and Sadie spend a few days avoiding large groups and trying to keep occupied. They are both well versed in making smart quips to each other, they both have wonderful senses of humor and smoke you are seeing is the result of those little sparks that turn into some smoking hot sexual tension between these two.

The laughter, the heat that flows between these two and the story keeps readers flipping pages and before you know it, you’re at the end of the book. Good thing Jacob Chance has more books to choose from. I loved spending my Friday afternoon with author Jacob Chance and Sadie and Cal.

OMG!! This book was so amazing!! It has suspense, comedy, instant attraction and undeniable sexiness. Sadie is as awesome as I knew she would be. She’s such a handful and it’s hysterical. Cal is so sexy and I love how they hit it off right from the start. When they are together it’s explosive and I was fanning myself it was so hot. I really couldn’t get enough of these two and this book. The ending was perfect for them too.

Jacob Chance blew me away once again!! He never fails to bring you amazing characters and unbelievable stories!!

I absolutely loved it and it’s a 100% must read

This is one of the funniest romcoms I have read and yet at the same time it is so thrilling, you will be anxious about what danger is lurking around the corner. Sadie a brilliant business women and VP of her father's company, finds her fiancé cheating one week before the wedding. She goes on her honeymoon solo to a tropical island. Cal a hit man goes on a vacation and to decide on one last job then meets Sadie. They meet, sparks fly, danger is all around them. These characters are so well written. You never know what fun thing Sadie will say next and you will admire how protective Cal is with Sadie. There is non stop action, steamy romance, and humor so funny you will fall out of your chair laughing. The author blends all this so beautifully that it works perfectly. I really love this author's work and look forward to reading more of his books. I highly recommend this must read and will really lift your spirits.

Pure joy and entertaining

If Jacob Chance wanted to grab my attention and make me keep reading, then he certainly did exactly that within the first few paragraphs of HONEYMOON HITMAN. Sadie Benson and Cal Cayne's story was pure joy and entertaining from start to finish. I don't think I have ever laughed so much, the humour, the wit, and the sarcasm was simply superb. Jacob has always been a master at RomComs, but this one was just exceptional ... definitely his best.

Cheated on a week before her wedding, Sadie deicdes to go on her pre-planned and paid for honeymoon anyway. While there she has her own plan - chill out and find a man to deeply satisfy her. Enter "Mr Tall, Dark and Dangerous", Sadie really wanted to gobble this man up from the moment she set eyes on him. Cal, a recently" retired" hitman, is more than happy to go along with any plan Sadie has. Instant chemistry, hilarious banter, hot sexy moments and amusing antics, had me addicted to Sadie and Cal's story. Of course, as with all Jacob's books, there had to be some drama, coming in the form of some not so friendly hitmen, but even then I couldn't help smiling. The situations these two kept getting themselves into could only come from Jacob's brilliant imagination.

"I never expected to meet a woman like Sadie ... I want to keep spending time with her."

This is a hilarious RomCom, plenty of laughs, a little drama and action, a smidge of sappiness, but plenty of steam. I love Jacob's humour and it shines through brilliantly, whether it be from suddenly appearing goats, hitmen in dumpsters, or Sadie's constant nervous rambling, he always had me laughing. I honestly believe that Sadie is Jacob in female form.

Do yourself a favour and read this book, you won't regret it.

I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was going to happen while laughing so hard that I had tears in my eyes.

Cal... An ex-military turned professional killer. He needs a vacation after everything in his life changes. On the island, he never expected a woman to literally fall into his arms.

Sadie... VP of Operations for the Charleston Pirates. After finding her fiancé cheating on her, she goes on her honeymoon all alone. Her time on the island ends up being a killer time.

Story... Cal has been having nightmares since his world completely changed. He heads to the Caribbean for a vacation where he meets Sadie when she literally falls into his arms. Sadie is on the island enjoying her honeymoon alone after finding her fiancé cheating on her. Cal takes off on Sadie while they are eating dinner and she tracks him down to confront him about it. They soon realize that they are stuck on the island with danger around every corner and must rely on each other to stay alive until they can get off the island.

My thoughts... Honeymoon Hitman was different than I expected but loved every second. Cal and Sadie are opposite in every way possible. Cal is all Mr. Tall, Dark, and Dangerous while Sadie is a klutzy, nervous, wreck with no filter. These two were totally combustible together. A must-read that will have you laughing out loud.

A week before her wedding, Sadie’s fiance cheats on her. The honeymoon is all paid for, so she decides to go it alone, hoping to find a hot hunk to melt her troubles away. Along comes Mr. Tall, Dark, and Dangerous, and within a couple of days, Sadie becomes embroiled with Cal in more ways than one and learns how exact her conception of him was. He is a hitman who has changed his vocation status from ‘killer’ to ‘private security consultant.’ Their tranquil scenes of love soon become disturbing scenes of violence as they try to figure out who the real bad guy is. Adding to the secret each has, this makes for a romantic comedy that sits on the edge of suspense.

This author always has fun stuff happening in his books, but this one is his funniest yet. I love Sadie. She has a smart mouth and never lets up with her glib remarks, always having the last word. Cal is the straight man to her comedic comments. Right from the start, these two characters click, and are like two peas in a pod, reminding me of the old Burns and Allen or Ralph and Alice Kramden routines.

I fell in love with Jacob’s writing after I read his first book. He is an expressive and articulate writer choosing eloquent and beautiful words to take his readers to passionate yet amusing situations. I especially look for those poetic words. Words that are almost musical telling us what is happening by using colourful and lyrical words. I missed that in this book. Even though the romance was there, for me, the magical words were not.

My favourite is a romantic comedy, and this certainly was that. A saucy and sassy heroine pitted against a protective and sympathetic hero as they fall in love amidst the volley of teasing, witty chatter, and flying bullets. Well done, Mr. Chance!

This a sexy steamy story about Sadie Benson she is the Vice President of the Benson Inc. also they own a football team the pirates. Sadie is on her honeymoon alone because her fiancé cheated. But she finds herself in a new adventure with a hot man who she can’t keep her hands off.
Cal is trying to get out of the Hitman work after the last job gone wrong. Ptsd . His friend or he though was a friend tried to kill him and did kill a lot of his other co workers. He thinks he’s doing a security consulting job on an island. Only it’s not.
He sees Sadie or rather she falls into his arms they share a steamy passion filled night. But then he notices a lot of other people from his other line of work. And then when he tries to get off the island they can’t. Then the fun begins . This is fun adventure of two people full of sexy passion and they also trying to figure out who set him up and why. This is a fun and sexy read . I enjoyed. Written in only the way that Jacob Chance can .

I don't think I've ever laughed so hard and worried about what was going to happen next, the way I did with this book.

Sadie & Cal met at a resort where they were both vacationing and starting over for different reasons.
Their attraction was immediate and it didn't take them long to become inseparable. The chemistry between these two ignited the pages.

Sadie is one of the funniest heroines I have ever read. She's also a little crazy in a good, fun way. I laughed throughout most of this book. When I wasn't laughing, I was holding my breath wondering what danger lurked around the corner.

Cal is everything you want in an H. He was sexy, ohhhh so sexy, fun and always making sure Sadie was taken care of.

Jacob always has me laughing with his characters, but this is his best by far. If you are looking for a fun, sexy read with a little bit of suspense, this is the book for you.

Sadie Benson is going to enjoy her honeymoon. Her solo honeymoon. Her jerk of an ex is not going to make her miss a vacation that she desperately needs.

Cal Cayne needs a change in careers. As a professional hitman, he doesn't like killing anymore. He agrees to an assignment and runs into the girl of his dreams. Now his assignment is blowing up in his face.

This story was so incredibly funny! By page 3, I was already giggling with the descriptions.

Sadie and Cal brought out the best in each other! Cal was a dark and dangerous surfer hitman. All in a nicely wrapped package. He has an edge to him but was exactly what Sadie needed. Sadie...what a firecracker! She constantly cracked me up throughout the story. (Karate chop..I can't 🤣) She also doesn't take any crap..not anymore.

I truly enjoyed this book! Just the fast paced, slightly suspenseful, hilarious book that I needed! I didn't realize there was some repeat characters (Nadia and Flynn from Changing the Player) and I will have to read their book! 🖤

I have to say. Sadie is friggin funny. The things that she says, when she says them are perfect. She has absolutely no filter. Even when she should probably think better and keep her mouth shut.

Cal is a dangerous man. But only when he needs to be. He’s ridding the world of the bad people, so he’s helping out society. When he goes through some tough stuff, he decides he needs a vacation. Not sure he expected the woman who fell into his arms.

Sadie just walked in on her fiancé cheating on her. Which obviously sucks, but her attitude with the situation is I’m sure what everyone woman wants but doesn’t get. She decided to go on her honeymoon alone. Relaxation and a possible fling. News flash. She ended up having a killer vacation.

This book was quick and fun. Wasn’t entirely what I expected but I still enjoyed it. I love Sadie’s character and how she decided to be so carefree when a crappy situation came her way. But she made out pretty well in the deal.

I simply love everything that Jacob Chance writes!! And this is no exception, he has given us a hilariously steamy story with the perfect amount of witty banter and action that will propel you into this story like you are watching a movie!!

This is I think one of the more steamier of Jacob’s books, but that is fine with me because this is a story with grown adults having a grown adult relationship and it’s refreshing to read about a strong heroine who knows what she wants and takes it!

I am not going to lie, I found myself laughing out loud at quite a few parts of this story, so when I say it has everything I mean EVERYTHING!

So if you like smart writing with engaging dialogue, a little adventure and enough heat to make you blush, run don’t walk and grab this one!! Jacob Chance is a master at what he does and you will not be disappointed!!!

Author Jacob Chance really hit the mark if he was aiming for a fun, hot and original island adventure when he wrote “Honeymoon Hitman.” I don’t know what I was expecting exactly when I started reading this book, but I do know that it blew me away.

Sadie goes alone on what was supposed to have been her honeymoon … until she caught her now ex-fiance cheating on her right in their bedroom. She recognizes it was a blessing in disguise and vows to enjoy her vacation as a single woman, enjoying the relatively brief escape from her high-pressure job. And then she meets delicious mancandy Cal and everything in her life changes in another direction yet again. Cal is a security consultant … or is he? He’s a hit man having something of a mid-life crisis. Beautiful Sadie distracts him from ‘business’ for a little while but then, as the book blurb says, people start “dropping like flies” and it all gets even more crazy. Sadie and Cal are both vivid, endearing characters with sizzling chemistry that is off the charts. She, in particular, is hilarious. The story is so well-written that you can envision everything clearly as if you were watching it on a movie screen.

There are a whole bunch of great secondary characters, many of whom actually are among those who “drop like flies.” I’d love to see both Benny and Lynch each get their own story told because I have so many questions about them yet to be answered. “Honeymoon Hitman” is fast-paced entertainment full of intense emotions, witty dialogue, clever popular references, steamy scenes, and an ending that is just killer!

“I don’t know what that was motivated by, but if it was the guns, I have a lot more you haven’t even seen yet.” I shake my head. “It wasn’t the guns.” He shoots me a skeptical look. “Okay, it might’ve had something to do with the guns.”

I devoured Honeymoon Hitman in a sitting as I couldn’t put it down. A romantic suspense that’s witty and will have you laughing with these playful characters. This book is easy to read and has the perfect amount of action, steamy scenes and hilarious banter. It’s unpredictable and has you guessing why and who until all is revealed. In my opinion this is Mr Chance’s genre, every time I’ve read his
Suspense Rom-com’s I’m happy as a pig in mud.

Talking about pigs it seems Sadie was about to head down the aisle with one until she caught him cheating on her. Thankfully she ditched him before it was too late and went on her honeymoon alone. All she needed was a distraction and she found herself a tall, dark drink of water to kill some time with. Given this was only an island fling she wasn’t exactly honest about who she was. I think she is a little shocked by her reactions and discovers a Sadie she never knew existed.

Cal is haunted by memories and finds himself pushed into taking a job on an island. However, first he’s going to surf, relax and get laid. He wasn’t expecting the gorgeous brunette to fall into his arms or his bed and he couldn’t reveal his occupation. Then he recognises a few too many faces, it puts him on edge and he senses a setup.

This was a quick read that I could not put down! Sadie is hilarious and made me laugh and smile so much. Cal had his moments of doing the same but Sadie for sure is my new favorite heroine! Cal is also a heartthrob for sure! A sexy, protective, yet has his laid back side too guy that makes your heart pitter patter. Jacob, you for sure better keep books coming! They are just getting better and better.

A super easy, fast pace read that had me laughing with each turn of the page! Sadie is a firecracker for sure and I loved it!!

Cal and Sadie hit it off immediately and a simple tryst turned to something more when they find themselves in the middle of a nefarious plan! Trying to survive they turn to one another and what they find is more than they bargained for!

This was a very enjoyable read for me and I loved the innuendos and laughter that existed between the two lead characters! They were so fun and it was a very enjoyable read!

As the blurb gives enough of the concept, so as to not go into too much detail as to all that unfolds, what I will say is that it was one LOL, fast paced, DUAL POV's, insta-hotness story, alongside some added suspense which made for a crazy time all round, with some twists and turns, that once I'd finished I was like...WTF was that! (I mean in a~ totally enjoyable, couldn't put it down type way)

Although a Standalone, there are characters featured that have been previously seen,(Changing the Player) and a couple of new ones that I hope will get their own stories!

This story starts with a bang as we meet Sadie and find out just what a badass she is when her world gets turned upside down. So begins a fast paced, fantastically irreverent, rom com suspense story that will make you laugh out loud. Sparks will fly when she meets Cal - who is a surprisingly mellow ex-hitman and they begin their adventures to find the killer without becoming collateral damage themselves. I loved their banter and how well Sadie adapted to every curve ball thrown at her. A lovely light, easy read to escape from reality.

So everyone knows that Jacob Chance is like my favorite male author, and that is for a reason! If you read one of his books you will understand why.
This book did not disappoint. I love Sadie. I laughed throughout this book & stayed on the edge of my seat. Sparks fly when Sadie & Cal meet. These two will keep you turning the pages! This is a must read!

Chance does it again!

My oh my, what can I even say about Sadie and Cal? I followed Jacob's progress while writing this book and see what he meant about these 2 not being able to keep there hands off one another. This was one of my highly anticipated reads of the summer. When Sadie goes on her honeymoon alone, she never expect to find this fine specimen. The events that follow keep you hooked and needing to know what will happen next. Fabulous writing Jacob!

Jacob hit a high note with this book!
This deserves all 5 stars. Jacob went all out on this amazing book. Cal and Sadie captured me from the beginning to the end. I was so involved I didn't want it to end. I laughed so much at Sadie's funny wit.Cal and Sadie kept me on my toes.
This book has everything you could ask for in
ROMCOM/ SUSPENSE from Jacob.
Definitely a must read .
