This is a great, dark reverse harem dark mafia romance. We pick up from where we left off in book one and find that Justice has a lot of decisions to make. It had me on the edge of my seat, it was exiting, thrilling, steamy and full of twists and turns and I couldn’t put it down! Loved it!

🔪 “You’re mine, and I want everyone to see that.”

Oh, this story kept me on the edge till the very last page!

So many things went wrong, so many difficult decisions were made and the stakes were so high!

But the Knives are strong and resilient. These males are just so amazing and willing to do anything to keep their woman safe, even surrender to their enemy. And Justice kept getting stronger and stronger with each new chapter.

All of them went through so much throughout the story. My heart broke for Hassan when he had to face Jez again. The sacrifices Bash had to make to keep everyone alive. And Justice with all the Iris situation. I really, really disliked Iris - oh, what a b!tch. But despite everything, all of them remained brave, loyal and got even closer with each new obstacle.

In addition, the steam level was off the charts! These males definitely know what they’re doing!

Overall, the story is another magnificent and deliciously dark addition to the series. It’s filled with suspense, danger, high stakes, difficult choices, twists, turns, scorching hot romance and amazing characters.

I couldn’t put it down, loved every page of it and am so ready for the next book!

Breaking Justice by Clarissa Bright ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is definitely a book that had me hooked by the blurb. I loooove mafia romances, specially RH, so I just couldn't let go of this book until I finished (even though I had a terrible toothache for days while reading it).

Breaking Justice is the imediate sequence of Taming Justice, so I highly recommend you to read it before, althought it's possible to understand the plot and the character's goals perfectly even if you didn't.

Well, I'll do my best to not give any spoilers on this review because I think the whole story works better when you don't have a clue of what's about to happen, but I'll tell you all this: EVERYTHING GOES WRONG. Every. Single. Thing.

The whole book is a rollecoaster of bad decisions and their consequences with every character trying to keep their own heads above water as they try to protect Justice, and well... Justice is Justice, and she'll do whatever she wants.

Between betrayals and plot twists (in a very short timespan) we also have explosive smut scenes that kept me on my toes for hours. And the best part of it is that THERE ARE BI PEOPLE IN THIS REVERSE HAREM. HALLELUJAH! This is just mindblowing to me. I've read tons of RH, but I've never EVER read one where the guys make out. I just loved it very much.

Overall is a smooth read with action, smut and well built characters that definitely worth your time.

Although this book could be read as a standalone, I don't recommend it. There is a huge backstory between Bash and Justice as well as a long standing friendship between the guys that is integral to this story arc. Guilt over what Justice perceives as her fault for introducing her friend Iris to her ex Adam and the almost trafficking of Iris, spurs Justice to try to help her friend. Bash, Skylar, Zane and Hessan don't see it the same and although they are trying to help Justice, they also try to talk her out of her reckless behavior. Justice ends up dragging them all into trouble by trying to help Iris and in the end they all end up entrenched in the life they hoped to avoid. Lots of action, the relationship between Justice and each of the guys gets deeper and there is loads of steam. Unlike most RH books, this one has a deep plot with a lot going on, however, the sexy parts end up happening a lot at and the most inopportune moments.

Breaking Justice continues from almost the same scene where Taming Justice ended. It was hotter and I swear the desperation of the characters as they try to deal with their situation just leeks off the pages.

Justice became an emotional fool living in denial for the first half of the book and as much as I wanted to shake sense into her, a reader can only do so much. After being proved wrong, it was still nice to see her regain some control.

As this is a dark mafia romance, death is never far away. Our characters live a dangerous life with more enemies on the inside than the outside as of now. But some deaths are surely welcome.

The relationships between Justice and Bash, Skylar, Zane and Hassan also strengthens as they finally let Justice have her say in the matters. The intimate situations also become increasingly hot and dirty at the same time.

Thanks to Clarissa Bright for the ARC provided in exchange for my honest review.

3.5/5
Breaking Justice continues to offer up the gung-ho strength and determination that we came to know and enjoy from Justice in the first Miami Knives book. This time, however, we get to experience more of the inner turmoil of her men as they're forced to face their past. Being the fast burn, steamy series that this is, there is pan abundance of enjoyable action between Justice and her men too. I like how we've come full circle to an earlier stage in Bash and Justice's lives and I'm curious to see where they will end up from here!

My rating is a little bit lower this time because I like to see growth (overcoming major character flaws) in the main character and I don't see that happening with Justice - yet. I'm hopeful that in the next book Justice will learn to reign in her impulses and consider the consequences of her actions... at last!

Hiya 🌿

What’s better than two posts a day? When the second post is a review of Breaking Justice—your new favourite reverse harem dark mafia romance. That’s right, you read correctly. This book? Top tier 😮‍💨🌶⛓

Breaking Justice is the second instalment of the (hopefully long-ass) Miami Knives series and I have been a fool for thinking @clarissabrightauthor couldn’t surpass the first book. Because I 👏🏼 was 👏🏼 proven👏🏼wrong 👏🏼

Even though TJ doesn’t necessarily end with a cliffhanger there’s much left for BJ (maybe the abbreviations aren’t such a good idea) to continue the story with. As I said—it’s a mafia romance so naturally there’s lots of crime involved as well as suspense, action and—most importantly—tension and smut 🥵 And holy hell the smut in this one was honestly so good. The interrelationships between all the characters feels so realistic because of the way Clarissa writes. Pure Genius. But I also like to highlight the fact that normally with RH romances plots are practically nonexistent. But in Breaking Justice? Plot is everywhere and it’s everything—the story is truly intriguing and the subjects that are tackled are eerily of interest concerning real life current events.

I said it before and I’ll gladly say it again—Clarissa takes the cake and leaves Den of Vipers crying in a corner 😮‍💨🔥⛓

Perfect read. Tension and smut easily five of five. Very interesting story. Good and realistic writing. Would 100% recommend.

This is Book Two so far in this series, and I’ve had the pleasure of being asked to read and review them both!
This one was even better than the first one. This book really dives into the story and the characters much deeper than the first.
They took her. But now all she wants is to stay. Justice’s relationship with her four hot and dangerous men continue to develop , and now with real feelings. They all share her, and she equally cares for all of them. She belongs, and she’s one of them now.
This is packed with a lot of action, story development , and HEAT. It brings allll the heat.
Highly recommend reading Taming Justice first before reading this one.
So excited for more of this series !
Definite one click!

Justice, Bash, Zane, Skylar and Hassan.
These 5 just know how to make you question everything you think you didn't want!

The story begins where Taming Justice left off, I probably should of had a reread before jumping in but it was easy enough to get back into.

The heat in this one is off the charts good! More depravity, more twists, more turns.
The connections between each of the main characters has deepened and you get to learn a little more about each of them.

There were a few editing issues but it was easy enough to skim over without taking away from the storyline.

Wow! I didn’t read the first book in the series but I sure wish I had. This book alone kept me on the edge of my seat. Read it over night, couldn’t put it down. Justice and her guys have all been through a lot. They would all do anything to keep each other safe. This reverse harem dark romance has lots of twists and turns and of course, HEAT. Can’t wait to read more.

This picks up where the first one left off. This was a steamy hot RH! I think Justice makes a lot of rash decisions in this one and putting the boys in certain dangers. This was an entertaining story and I look forward to reading more.

Ridiculous heroine

The heroine is ridiculous. I made it to 37% and had to stop. No matter how much truth is thrown at her she ignores. Can't bring myself to finish.

Great story, it’s such a shame about the editing and proofreading, especially as that is what has lost it a star from my rating.
