First things first, this book is reverse harem. I've been reading a lot of reverse harem books lately because i've been really stressed because of university and my way to take my mind of things is to read books with a lot of sex scenes and this one really delivered on this, so thank you book for that.
Brief summary
Doc (Allison) works at her uncle’s roadhouse to pay for her student debts (she’s studying to be a ob-gyn). She doesn’t like it much but it does the job. There is a couple of bikers that always goes to her work and who have been trying to seduce her for a while but she hasn’t given in to their advances, they are a group of enforcers called vengeance, but their names are Des-E, Hyena and Vampire, and they always come together. Doc needs a place to stay and the three guys offer her to stay with them. They end up falling in love.
Growly, posessive and obsessive bikers are my absolute weakness in books, so it’s not wonder that I absolutely adored reading about 3 in them in the same book. I really enjoyed Des-E, Hyena and Vampire and I liked how different they were from each other and how they all had their own personality and their own quirks. It really worked for me that they were all different from each other but also super growly and possessive and always ready to defend Doc, that just really worked for me. I loved how the three guys always made sure that Doc was protected and how they were ready to do everything to achieve that. But I also loved how strong Doc was and how she always defended herself too, the mix of the two just really worked for me.
The guys have rules where they fully take care of the woman they’re with and do everything for her and that just really worked for me. I loved things like that in books and I loved how it was done in this book.
I’m a really simple reader, give me a lot of really hot sex scenes and I will be happy, thats pretty much all I need to enjoy a book and it was it the case of this book. The sex scenes in this book were absolutely wonderful and I just adored every one of them. This book was just so damn hot and I could sing praises for them all day, they were that good.
If I have one thing that I really don’t enjoy in books, it’s miscommunication and there was too much of it in this book for me to love the book as much as I wanted to. I was so into this book and I absolutely loved the set up of the book and the start of this book, I was really invested in it and loving all of it, but then a lot of miscommunication happened and it just indered my love of the book a little. I just wanted the characters to actually communicate with each other.
In the end, I really enjoyed this one and I had such a good time reading it.

I'm not gonna lie. I received this book as an ARC and just trudged my way through it. I just could not get into this book. Or this series for that matter. It's like a masterclass in falling for, submitting to, and losing one's identity to criminal men. I don't mind romance that involves a criminal element. Particularly when the female character is from that world herself or if she can hold her own and maintain her sense of self. This ain't the case with Vengeance or any of the Ruthless Reaper books thus far. These women are so hypnotized by the sex that they let these men completely take over their lives (in the most creepy way possible). They (the men) deem what is and isn't best for the heroine by issuing out rules that must be obeyed and by taking away her rights all in the name of caring for and protecting her. In essence, the portrayal of women comes across as weak and in need of men to both care and think for them.
A few mild spoilers ahead
Let's not forget the formula. It is firmly in place here. You can easily guess the path this story will go with nearly 100% accuracy if you've read several of her other books. I get it. Don't mess with what works. But could you hide it a little better? Make it less obvious. I swear all of her books are reading the same. I'm losing all hope (or have I lost it already?)!
So no, I did not enjoy this book and cannot recommend. While I know most readers are fans and may well love the things that I've mentioned, I can't make myself stop feeling that women deserve better. Even in the pages of a book. This could have and should have been handled and written so much better. While I appreciate the author's efforts in telling her story, I must unfortunately give Vengeance a 1 star. Do better Theodora Taylor. Slow down, and write better books not more of the same story with different names.

March 26, 2022I super enjoyed this reverse harem. I’m a planner myself, so writing about a heroine whose five-year-plan gets ripped to shreds by 3 sexy bikers was both delightful and horrifying.
Luckily, Vengeance made It up to me with the smoking hot seggs scenes. I hope this emotional romance was a thrill ride for you as well.

I want to start this review by saying that the very first note I made reading this was how cute their coffee orders were. I knew that no matter how tough they were, they were all just softies, and I was excited to see that side of them come to play. I wasn’t the least bit surprised to see just how much when it came to Allie. I can’t say Allie annoyed me, but the development of her character did. Because there really wasn’t development. All three of the guys were sweet and spicy in their own ways, and throughout the book, they all came out of their shells. I truly enjoyed the trust and respect they felt toward not just each other, but then towards Allie over time. Unfortunately, that backfires. In a disastrous way. My harping would involve spoilers, so I won’t say much. There’s miscommunication involved, in a very annoying way. So if you don’t enjoy miscommunication whatsoever, I’d skip this one. There was SO much space for more of a harem situation, but it missed the mark because of the focus on the mistrust and miscommunication. I’ve read enough organized crime/enforcer romance to know that this also missed the mark on how possessive those men should have been. My woman means my woman. But once they had her, and things unfolded, that was no longer true. All four of them deserved a better happily ever after. Especially since it would have been such an easy HEA if they just communicated!

2 1/2 don't know what I just read stars. Started off strong, but the dynamics of the relationships didn't click for me.

It took me a bit to get into, but I slowly started to love the way the book was sitting out to be. Then in the middle of the book there was a plot twist that kind of threw me off. I didn’t mind it… but then the book quickly came to an end? It was like boom bam uncle same here is your dinner.
I could have loved the whole healing/ forgiving process be longer. The ending felt rushed, and unfortunately stale at the end. I was hoping that the boys would let her sit with the hurt for a little bit because in all honesty she was the one who left and did not really communicate. Of course the men could’ve communicated better, but they were being vulnerable and open with her from the beginning. I know she has a lot of trauma in her life, so I know it was cray for her too.
All in all it was good! but I would have just made that ending part a bit longer. Who knows, i’m not a writer or an editor.. maybe it was longer at one point but they told her NO CUTT IT !
Other than that! I genuinely loved the boys, and I am curious to see the other stories. I need to check out Hades story, and then waiting for the next book because the ending was a perfect lead to the upcoming book.

The third story in Theodora Taylor reaper series is about three men and the woman they want. Doc, Vampire, Des-E and Hyena are the characters that have the pages hot. The story was not too long nor too short. This to me is my favorite

I received this ARC copy for an honest review…..Whew, I couldn’t put it down. Allie a strong, smart black woman with her own harem of men, who want her and only her. Vengeance fell in love with Allie at first sight. Through life’s ups and downs Allie finally agrees that with Vengeance is where she is destined to be. Another awesome book Mrs Taylor. I enjoyed reading this book. I definitely recommend this book.

Ohhh I wasn't ready for Vengeance, I thought I was but no ma'am. How can you resist 3 over protective men who move and think like one person? You definitely need to be up for the challenge and Doc passed with flying colors. The spice, the laughs and the angst was everything. I know with Vengeance you can't choose one, but Vampire definitely has a special place with me.

This is the craziest MC series I’ve ever read but it’s sinfully sexy and so much fun. There were a few moments I was mad as heck especially with the last few paragraph that sets up for the next highly anticipated story. Yea, it’s evil Hades and long suffering Persy but I’m getting ahead of myself. First there’s this third crazy story in this entertaining series unlike any other MC series. It features the club’s enforcers Vengeance. That’s the name for the three bikers that operate as one in club business and in their personal lives. It’s all about togetherness in work and love. You get the picture…three on one…they share everything. They find the love of their lives in a wild biker bar and pursue her for years. But Allie/Doc is having none of it or them. She has her plans. No men, just school then a practice then a husband and kids. That goes awry when danger comes calling and Vengeance saves the day. Allie gets a real lesson in what the guys are all about. A sexy hot lesson with a disturbing side of being held captive. This is where the misunderstanding begins and Allie is left to get her plans back on track with a little surprise in the mix. This story crisscrosses with the previous story and all the characters from the other books make appearances. After the last story I thought the author would go easy on the crazy of the first book but no. This one is almost as boldly obnoxious and frustrating for me as the first. Women are property, men are over protective alphas, and Reapers rule. But the writing is compelling and the story moves fast with twists, surprises and a bit of danger along with the hot romance. I love seeing these brutal bikers fall in love and Allie is a strong, fierce woman. The bikers, Hyena, Vampire and Des-E are all completely unique and each brings something different to the relationship. This is a crazy biker reverse harem romance in an additive series. Back to the ending and the next book. I can’t wait to find out what the author has in store for poor Persy and if Hades can be redeemed because he is an awful, nasty, evil villain. I loved this crazy, wild ride and look forward to the next story.

this was the first book i had read in this particular series, but when the opportunity for the arc came up it sounded way too good to pass up on. i was correct in my statement. i received the arc just monday morning and completely devoured it, finishing it in under twenty four hours. it was just one of those books that you just can't put down.
vengeance tells the story of a group of 3 guys and their attraction to the one girl who doesn't want them. it is set in the organized crime world, but that is not really a focus of the book. it is the story of acceptance, of fear, and of love.
vengeance is not heavy in the plot department, but if you looking for a hot spicy read featuring a polyamorous romance and biker gang, then read this asap! there were different times in the book where i found myself questioning the reasoning behind some of behaviors that the character exhibited but ultimately in the end it all made sense to me. it's just one of those books that needs to be read in one sitting. one thing people might be weary of reading about is the constant pop culture mentions, along with mentions about the pandemic. as somebody who uses reading as an escape from everyday life, i don't enjoy reading about the very things i am looking to avoid. although, i can see myself reading the rest of this series, you have to go into it with an open mind, and not expect some in-depth plot line, because it is simply a dark romance.
ultimately, this is a great read for those looking for something spicy with some diversity and a little darkness, nothing more, nothing less.

This book took me so far outside my comfort zone because I didn’t know “quad” relationships existed - 3 men share 1 woman.
There so many discussions to be held here…cause I guess it’s like polygamy but with one woman instead of one man. Anyway, the story was interesting and it tied back into The Waylon series and featured other Reapers from the MC club. It’s also the lead-in to the 5th book in the series.

I enjoyed the storyline but it did feel a little bit rushed. One day she needs help and the next she is just at their beck and call and then she is gone. Honestly the better reverse harem was her quarantine tale with Goldie. I liked this storyline but probably will never reread.

Allie/Doc was easily twice as smart, confident, and sure of herself as the other two heroines in this series COMBINED. Vengeance were easily 6 times as intelligent and "alpha" (I hate that concept) as the last two heroes combined while at the same time being 1000 times less a-hole and being emotionally mature. My main criticism is that it was too short and the second half was rushed. I could have easily read another 100 pages.
Spoilerish: I still hate secret baby tropes but the Heroes handled it like adults, I was literally shocked especially after Griffin's "18 years child support" behavior in the last book. I liked that the problems that they had, while solved with a conversation, (as they could have been in the last book) couldn't have been solved with a conversation at the time they first got together.
Yes, I do think TT's work of late relies too much on tropes, is derivative of her other works, and is way too populated with abusive a-holes being presented as lurve, but this book wasn't one of them. Her reverse harem books have been 2/2. I really enjoyed this and really want more.
Still not looking forward to Hades/Stephanie. It might be a make or break it book with me and this author. If she continues the upward trend of smarter and stronger heroines and more emotionally mature heroes it could work, but if it backslides into Waylon territory...it's just going to be abuse on a stick and I may have to be done with her work. I need that tattoo gone.

Vengeance: Her Knights on Bikes
This book had me on fire. I don’t know how Mrs. Taylor do it, but her unique way for telling stories just pulls you in and holds you until the last word. Every time I read a book written by this author, I never want it to end. So I always end up reading the book again after the first time. With that being said, let’s talk about the book. Not trying to give away any spoilers. We met Doc back in Phantom’s book. I should have known then that her story was going to be hotter than lava. This woman got three bikers that were as protective and possessive as they were hot. This book had me on fire. I don’t know how Mrs. Taylor do it, but her unique way for telling stories just pulls you in and holds you until the last word. Every time I read a book written by this author, I never want it to end. So I always end up reading the book again after the first time. With that being said, let’s talk about the book. Not trying to give away any spoilers. We met Doc back in Phantom’s book. I should have known then that her story was going to be hotter than lava. This woman got three bikers that were as protective and possessive as they were hot. This didn’t go where I thought it was going to go at all! But in such a good way. Loving the break Taylor is taking from her over the top, over done revenge plot romances!
This stress on emotional openness and honesty is good. Very soft.
One thing I didn’t like was how quickly they came together in the end, the FMC admitted to having these issues that she had never really faced, I wish that there was an actual post (unwilling) return courtship and counseling with a gradual sort of relationship building.
But I did sorta enjoy this one!

Other reviews were right
It was not great. Not even a remix of the Goldie book, though it tried. It was just a less interesting quad.
So anticlimactic and lacking in any real character. It was boring. Doc was so interesting in the other books, and who was this completely blah woman? Would have liked it much better as a KU read. It’s not worth the $5. No character development at all. A lot of telling to get out of it. A LOT OF TELLING. Whole sections where the plot is skipped through with a few quick summary summary sentences, ( eg “And then over the next three years I blah blah blah. I finally finish school, blah blah blah. Then meet a guy and now we’re pretty serious, blah blah.”) So parts that could have fleshed out the story aren’t there. We never see the main characters interact with their secret baby (which isn’t really a spoiler if you read the ones before), which just makes something that’s supposed to be a major plot point (or one would think), an aside. That kid could not have existed at all. Didn’t matter to the story one bit. Their makeup is insulting. As a reader I’m insulted that this author basically was like “give me five bucks and take this half- developed crap.” Also, there is no point in these dudes being presented as ruthless. None of these heroes have been ruthless. Waylon, Griff, “Vengeance” (eye roll). Having a scene where they lame, cliche torture one guy and typing the word “punishment” does not a ruthless character make. They are so boring and without character, I can’t say it enough. Their little MC names, wasted. It’s not even a good reread like some others by this author lately that are weaker in story but still kinda cute or whatever. I’m pretty disappointed, but this whole series has been a wash. And jokes on me, I keep hoping that the next book will have that flare I found with her other novels. It’s not there, and it’s too bad.

Vengence the Quad Life🥵😈🥵
This was a fast-paced reverse harem book of 3 men whose been in love with Allie aka Doc, a strong and highly motivated woman who had a 5yr career/life plan that didn’t include men or dating😘🥰.
Allie wasn’t interested in what Des-E, Hyenna and Vampire offered, nor did she ever expect to be tangled up in their web until a call for help turned her world upside down🤯. The guys appreciated the thanks and did everything to keep Allie comfortable however the living situation was too much too soon😏. I was happy for the guys when they were finally able to spend time with her but I could understand the angst Allie was feeling and how she chose to handle it. Not everyone can handle the amount of love, affection and attention brought on by 3 men🥵😘😈. If the guys had told Allie about their plan from the beginning and Allie was truthful and upfront with her concerns it would have helped in preventing the years of hurt. Once they were able to sit and have the “talk” it all made sense. It did still take some getting used to however I was happy for the guys that Doc was on board with the relationship🥰. I liked that all the guys complimented each other’s personality and how they spent their time with Allie alone. When it was quad time they were all in sync in thoroughly enjoying giving her pleasure🥵.
Doc is a lucky lady to have 3 men loving her like they do💞💞💞. I’m loving the series and all the characters from previous books are weaved into each one. I can’t wait to read the next book on Hades👍🏽.

same story different names
I have read all of TT work, to the point I will pre buy her books without even questioning it. These last few books have been very disappointing. This book felt rushed, doc was such an amazing character, I felt like this story did not do her justice. She deserved more, and I have red storylines about multiple people in a relationship. Although not my cup of team I don’t think I I would have read this one know that. But I pre ordered the book blindly. This who plot is stale, the same person but different name. I am not sure I will read the rest.

Doc has definitely hit the lottery with these 3
Okay Girl!....Or Boy!...People. This is one book you don't want to sleep on!
Let me just say that I really love how all three male leads have a point of view in this book. I love how you see everything from each and everyone of their views.
When Doc said that they're kind of like the wizard of Oz. Yes! I actually felt that and completely understood where she was coming from.
She is really there missing puzzle. Now I can say that this story ended to quickly for me. Not to say this was a fast book to read. But more so, I was deeply involved into this book that when I finish it it sadden me.
But other than that there is so much hurt in this book with our main leads. I really enjoy the different backgrounds of each character that brought everyone together. And I really Love, Love, LOVE, Hyena outspoken, fun side. Des-E quiet/great listener, but big open heart, side. And Vampire leadership, and no nonsense side. You can give me all three blend it up and put it in a tall glass for me.
I also enjoy, to my shock, Doc flipping off on Olivia. I know in my other reviews I really enjoy Olivia and her and Phantom was one of my favorites. But in this book I couldn't help but SMH at Olivia's attitude and uppity words. I completely agreed with Doc about how Olivia doesn't plan things out. And the way she's going about things is bull headed. The fact that Olivia just slapped down her ideas, without even giving it a second thought. Or have a real conversation about what her issues were with Doc ideas. It threw me for a real shock. I never got the feel that Olivia was like this. Do I was beyond happy that Doc called her out for bullheadness and the fact that she didn't even give it a chance. Because when Olivia sat their and said she doesn't think she would be a good fit to run her clinic while she gone. Cuz her ideas of what she wanted to do didn't aline with her own ideas, (once again let me remind everyone that she said that without really giving it a chance.) Had me raising my eye brow think what the hell is wrong with her. She has baby Brain or something.
Needless to say this book was a great book to read and I can't wait to read Hades.

Hot Like Fire 🔥!!!!
What can I say? This book was so freaking good I literally read this in 1 day!!! Amazing!! So much chemistry in so many characters, just amazing. Who knew that Vengeance, three psycho killers for the Reapers were actually tender lovers and romantics!! Regardless of how they got Doc, it’s what they did when they had her. Now I had no idea how you were going to work the quad scenes. But I must say they were everything!!! They some of the steamiest sex scenes and the writing was so good it almost felt like I was there 😁😁. Hyena was hilarious and literally spoke for the group. Vampire was the unofficial leader. Des-E, silent but deadly and secretly terrified of horror movies. All fell in love with Doc/Allie, someone who had a 3 5 year plans and her nose in a book. She was not the normal roadhouse female with big boobs and whatnot but she was everything that they wanted in a woman. The patience they displayed while waiting for Doc. The love and care that was given when she was with them. Their rules were absurd but whatever!! Can’t wait to finish reading about these crazy Reapers. Great job Theodora, great job!!!!!

I was totally invested in this start from start to finish.
It’s engrossing and engaging.
I absolutely adored all four characters, Allie, Des-E, Hyena and Vampire.
The three bikers are all intriguing and complex.
Their back stories make them even more lovable.

Intelligent, hard working and ALWAYS has a multi year plan.
The intensity between the four of them is stunning.
The energy and the dynamics that flow and swirl around them is explosive and sizzling hot.
I wish they all would have communicated together better and shared their thoughts more openly.
They would have avoided so much heartache and misunderstandings.
There was a secret something in the plot that I won’t giveaway so I don’t burn the story for others.

Allie has a bad past, but she has a five-year plan. But life’s thrown her curveball. Then the Reapers step in to help. The Reapers are Vampire, Hyena, and Des-E. When they first see Allie, they fall for her and wanted to make her theirs. But she does not want any part of their lifestyle. Now that they have her, they will not let her go and now she must go by their rules. But she does not like the rules and now she runs. And the story picks up few years later. And you will get to see what happens when they have found her. To say they have twists and turn in their relationship is understatement. But their ending is great for them.
Vengeance has some wonderful characters. But the storyline I did have a slight problem with. It was a good read. This story has some incredible scenes and some sexy scenes. I would definitely read Theodore Taylor again.

Doc (Allie) finds herself in a bit of a bind, with no place to sleep, but she won't ask for help. Allie has a plan, a 5 year plan and that doesn't include the 3 hot enforcers from the motorbike club, where she serves coffee. They have had thier eye of her for a long while, but they share everything including women!! When she has no other option but to go home, she is subjected to an sexual assult, she has no option she needs help and the only person she can call is one of the enforcers. Now, she finds herself in their bed and her plan has seemingly flown out the window. Allie decides that she needs to escape and get back to her plan. Unfortunately, the book falls apart at this point and I found myself very confused as to what actually happened and how they found her again. But, the ending was sweet and exactly what was needed.

I love this Ruthless MC Series. So far each book has had an element of surprise that I just wasn't expecting - although I should because Theodora Taylor is known for those plot twists. She is one of the few authors that can really wring the emotions out of me. It never fails that I laugh, cry and get angry reading one of her books and this series is no exception. What WAS different about this one was that it was a reverse harem which I don't think I've ever read from TT before - but it sure was worth it. What I really loved was that the relationships weren't shallow and just based on sex, either. You could clearly see that the Des-E, Hyena and Vampire's life experiences led them to have a true brotherhood and Doc was the perfect woman to compliment it. So if you like MC Romances, Reverse Harems, or just good storytelling, be sure to pick up the entire Reapers Ruthless MC series!

Pero con la historia un poco ya contada.
Tiene mucho más romance que otros, eso es verdad. La química entre todos es barbara y nuevamente no cruzan la línea de la violencia lo que adoro. Es una montaña rusa de emociones y por eso no he dejado de leerlos.
Me gustó mucho mucho pero he de admitir que me decepcionó un poco que se repita el trope de embarazo secreto pero ahora con un cuarteto. Ese es mi único pero con este libro. Pues literalmente el libro anterior se trata de lo mismo.
Sin embargo, logra darle un giro a la situación de manera diferente a su antecesor.
Lo disfruté bastante, fue refrescante en términos de reverse harem. Es de los más dulces que me encontrado y con un desenlace diferente que creo que fue lo que más me gustó de toda esta historia 💘👌🏽

This was a hot steamy romance with mmmf. I was very excited to for this story. Surprisingly, it wasn't my favorite of the series. I didn't really feel the love with this quad, but the sexiness more than made up for it. It wasn't as funny as Griff's story or as heart pounding as Waylon's, but it still found its place amongst the series. All four of the main characters had distinct personalities, however I believe they could have been fleshed out a little bit more. Allie reminded me a lot of myself with her type A personality and I felt a great connection with her. She also didn't get on my nerves. Amazingly, none of the women of this series have gotten on my nerves. I would recommend this read because I don't you can get a full scope of the Reapers without it.

MC reverse harem romance, 3 guys that call themselves Vengeance only have sex with women together (eye roll). They have had a thing for Allie for almost 5 years. She is almost finished with her schooling to be a doctor and has a plan and refuses to have anyone or anything derail it. She tends bar to pay for it which is where she meets vengeance. When she gets into some dangerous trouble, she calls them for help and then finds herself at their mercy. I don't blame her for feeling trapped and a bit afraid and there is a serial killer vibe that I think Allie senses too, even if it's not quite true she is held against her will and not told really anything about the guys intentions. I just didn't care for this book at all.
