Not without your love is a novel based on real-life situations encompassing Afghanistan in the 70s-80s, including commotions of war & governments being played here.

I noticed this account is an engaging read as it's a true story, plus the uproars & politics resembling the prevailing situation in Afghanistan.

The weaving of romantic relations with politics is not a simple job & the writer has attempted to do a fine job in that sense. But, I sensed that the chronology/order in some pieces could be done a little better; some scenes had me perplexed.

Though it was a love tale, I observed that much of the excitement got forgotten amidst the politics. There were grammatical mistakes, though they can be taken care of in the following version. My exact involvement in the book began in the second half when I just couldn't let go.

Overall, a quality effort by the author & it was a delightful read for me.

Kabir, a young journalist who fell in love with Noosh. Noosh a high spirited, liberal Persian woman who knows Kabir from her college days in Moscow. When Kabir's idol, a Russian professor offers him a special project in Afghanistan to be a spy, Kabir takes the job but little does he know the path he is taking is traveld by very few and he is just a scapegoat in a larger conspiracy.

'Not Without Your Love' is a historical love story set in the backdrop of 70s war ravaged Afghanistan. The story follows Kabir signin up for a movement in Afghanistan for the betterment of the people but his actual destination is Noosh, the love of his life.

The book is well thought out, a love story amidst the political unrest and underlying political threats though the plot buildings are not good. The story started very smoothly and I was enjoying but ended up in a mess. The plots are all jumbled up and everything happened so rapidly it was difficult for me to follow. But I like the author's approach to give a perspective on Superpowers in wars.

Talking about the character sketches, characters are not well developed. It would have been better to atleast develop the main characters along with the plot development. Everything is done very haphazardly.

Writing style is simple, beginner friendly and fast faced. I very much like the idea of this book but it failed to meet my expectations. But certainly this is something different than what I mostly read so it was a small change of genre.

Relationships and romance is one such genre which most authors in general try to bank on as it is relatively easier to pen down than let say a horror one and also has a wider reader base but at the same time one needs to be mindful about more the people preferring one thing automatically signifies more competition and hence that X-factor needs to be there in the books of most prevalent genres. Also writers need to be particularly alert when they weave a romantic tale in the backdrop of political turmoil as there might be readers who aren't aware much about the constant tensions sprewing in the various nations and consequently the connection with the tale might dwindle which is what happen with this particular novel as well.

The story revolves around Kabir and Noosh who are miles apart and waiting to reconcile. While Noosh is in Afghanistan ,Kabir is still in India and exploring various feasible options to be with her. He readily pounces on the opportunity when his idol , Professor Sizov offers him the role of spy in the neighbouring nation. But there is much more than what meets the eye. Kabir soon realises that he is part of larger conspiracy and a mere puppet in the hands of higher authorities. Will the tale of two protagonists meet a favourable end ? Grab the book to find out.

The novel for most parts is predictable. It has a filmy look to it . There is clearly an overdose of political conflicts especially throughout the first half of the book and the people who aren't aware about how America use to rule over Afghanistan and the Taliban angle (which is also much in news these days) won't be able to comprehend and relate with some parts of story as there are constant abrupt inclusions of warfares. The cover though beautiful doesn't go well with the contents inside . The climax is satisfactory . The narration is decent . Characterization is good but some of their actions seems illogical and baffling to me but that's how the life is.

Overall a one time read.

Not Without Your Love
Author: Arvind Parashar

The book began with Noosh checking days that how since a long time ago had Kabir been away. Kabir is a youthful travel columnist, he arrived in Afghanistan for an uncommon venture. As we probably are aware of the current circumstance going on in Afghanistan, I was captivated to peruse this one to know an unmistakable image of that nation in those days and presently. The story has been set up during the 1980s around and it goes in a flashback in later sections like three years prior. Kabir has a teacher, whom he thought about as a symbol. Educator Sizov offered him an extraordinary venture however for that, he must be a government operative.

Noosh is from Herat, Afghanistan. She is a dedicated Persian young lady. She met Kabir when she was in school and they became hopelessly enamored with one another. Kabir was excellent at photography so he needed to seek after photograph news coverage. One of his photos was distributed on the first page of Times magazine in his first year of school.

Kabir attempted to cause her to comprehend that he would come to see her there and to converse with her dad for her hand for marriage.

This book will cause you to trust in never-ending love. It's an intriguing read as it depends on a genuine story.

overall, Interesting Read

Not without your love
Arvind Parashar

Not without your love is a novel based on a true love story. I really loved the cover and it is attractive. It is a story of Kabir and Noosh and major part is Afganistan based, this was the main fact I chose the book. I was eager to know what this story had to offer. Kabir and Noosh were young sweethearts at their campus and had to part their ways.

Kabir was passionate about journalism and he went to pursue his career whereas Noosh went to Afganistan. It is not too long that Kabir realised his actual destination is Noosh and it has always been her.

This is not just a love story, there are a lot of elements in the story. Apart from the main characters many side characters are also depicted in a nice way. The story has been set up in 1980s and it was really interesting to explore the facts at tht time. The novel also discuss a bit of politics. Kabir consider Professor Sizov as an idol and he was offered a special project by his Professor. For the project he has to be a spy, yes it is really risky. What will happen next? Was he a part of a larger conspiracy?

The story was full of interesting plot twists and events. I really enjoyed the narration, the writing style was lucid. Overall it was a intriguing story.

There is saying that "all's well that ends well" in this story I felt like this line suits very well as in the story there is a separation of couples and they again meet after a long time and the pain they endured during that time of separation that was immensely hurtful and when they meet all that pain vanishes away and a blessed future welcomed them.

I admired the ending and the beginning of the book from the depth of my heart but the middle portion was somehow felt boring to me, the political talk and war talks were seemed tragically boring to me but my curiosity to know what happened to Noosh and Kabir kept my mind intact to the story of them only.

I could not say I loved the story but I can say I liked the overall story of the book it was not that good for me but it was worth reading and the author has mentioned that this book is based on a true story and so I can't judge there lives should to be better just for my entertainment purposes that would be very wrong of thinking like that.

The story background is Kabul Afghanistan and it shows the era 70s and 90s when there was some political drama and now when I see the Afganistan condition I feel awful and praying to God to save them from miseries.

Glimpse in a blink

Kabir has just got a project in Afganistan as a travel journalist and his main motive was to take this offer only to see his love of his life who lives there and hopes to see her very soon but he has also got a job which has given to him by his favourite professor which is a secret mission that could always keep his identity in risk.

Noosh has been living in Afghanistan with her father and who is somewhere connected with politics and Noosh is also is dealing with some issues related to it and when she knows her love has arrived in the city she couldn't wait any longer to see his face and love for her.

The situation of Kabul is at risk and people are taking refuge in another country leaving their homes because of war that is killing innocent lives and Kabir and Noosh are stuck between war zone.

By reading this book you can slightly understand the current situation of Afganistan.

⚡BOOK REVIEW⚡

🌗"Not Without Your Love" by "Arvind Parashar" is a fictional novel based on real events depicting the warlike incidents that took a major turn in the country of Afghanistan late in 1977.

🌗Kabir, a young travel journalist is assumed to be the protagonist of the story. The story was inaugurated when he was appointed as an undercover agent for the Soviets in Afghanistan. Later we emerge at a finding that there was a specific reason behind his commitment towards the project alignment with the USSR Intelligence Agency.

🌗It was majorly because Noosh, the love of his life was a resident of Afghanistan itself. She was a smart and gorgeous persian lady as portrayed by the author in the book. Both Noosh and Kabir graduated together from Moscow. It was there that they met and eventually fell in love. But due to certain reasons, they had to part ways.

🌗Nevertheless, they perpetually loved each other apart from being far away. Now when destiny wants them to rejoin, there commences a huge warlike conflict which results in the onslaught of the soviets and the outburst of combat that lasts for over a decade.
Will they survive the war together to complete their love story?

🌗Talking about the storyline, I didn't happen to like it much. It felt like the political fraction held a stronger essence in the story which was supposed to be moderate. Hence it disappointed me and somehow I found out that it was not worth the hype. I was expecting much more from this book which of course as you can see did not match my expectation. It might be a fun read for you, but it definitely wasn't for me. However, both the writing style and the narration was executed in a lucid format which was quite impressive. I would still recommend this to the ones who adores reading this specific genre. I mean why not give it a try? I would love to hear your views on this one.

A Heart-wrenching story. Accurately saying love in the times of war. Cry warning!!!

• About the Story
“Not without your love” is basically a love story of Noosh and Kabir along the duration of 1977 to 1990. Both met while doing their engineering in Moscow. Both were in love since their engineering days. But Kabir wanted to study Journalism after his engineering, on hearing which Noosh was saddened. The reason behind Noosh’s sadness was their diverse backgrounds. Noosh belonged to Herat in Afghanistan and Kabir belonged to Mumbai in India. Noosh knew that Kabir’s journalism would keep them away for 2 long years.
Fast forward to 2 years, Kabir’s Russian professor- Professor Sizov, gives Kabir an opportunity to work on a project in Afghanistan. Kabir is more than happy to accept any opportunity that would take him close to his Noosh. The catch here was that Professor Sizov had some other thoughts in his mind. He was planning to send Kabir as a spy, as an ILLEGAL spy. Of course, Kabir knew about Sizov’s intentions, but he was given a choice of quitting at any point he felt he did not want to do. Kabir was finally able to meet the love of his life after 6 years. But just meeting her was not the goal. They wanted to unite and spend their entire life together, but this was not the time. Their country needed them. They were always there for the country, Noosh for her homeland and Kabir for a nation that was in need.

• About the author
Are they able to spend their life together? Does the love in times of war succeed? All these questions keep you hooked till the last page. Till the last page of the book, you silently pray to let this be a happy ending. The book is written so well that I felt the pain and fear of the people stuck in war, of the people who lost their loved ones in war. As the story is based in the past, it sometimes becomes confusing to relate with the timeline. Well, to find if it is a happy ending you will have to read it.

"One life is not meant for many, and I lived many lives in this moment alone."
~ 'Not Without Your Love' by Arvind Parashar

What happens to the common people in the war torn countries? Do they suffer the most? Are they solely responsible for whatever is happening in their lives? The things I have realised while reading the stories of the common people stuck in war torn areas are worth mentioning. Wars are fought by the authorities, but common people are affected the most in wars. Some people lose their loved ones, some get separated from their family members, some lose their lives and leave behind their children suffering all alone. The story of each of these people has the capability to completely break our hearts into pieces. I just hope and pray for those who are stuck in war torn countries to get out and live their lives peacefully. The things which I read daily about Afghanistan tears my heart and I really hope that things get better there for the common people.

This story is a similar account based on a true lovestory. Kabir, a young and dynamic travel journalist, lands in Afghanistan for a special project. But, the actual reason behind his going to Afghanistan is the love of his life, Noosh, who is smart and spirited and works for an NGO. In her hometown, buried under political unrest, she is waiting for Kabir, whom she has known since her college days.
When Kabir's idol, Professor Sizov offers him this special project, he asks for something in return from Kabir. He has to be a spy. Little does he know that he is going to be a part of a larger conspiracy that will ultimately lead to a war. After multiple adversities, he choses to fight for love.
Will their love survive? Will they both survive the war?

In the beginning, this story seemed like a normal lovestory, but towards the end I couldn't stop myself from getting emotional. Isn't it too difficult to love in a war torn country? Don't waste any other minute, grab your copies of this book and read it as soon as possible. Lovestories like these can't be missed.

The story 'Not without your love' narrates the story of Kabir and Noosh and their college-life love with a tincture of politics which make this book all-the-more alluring and deep-seated.

Based on real events, which draws a moth to the flame, this narrative revolves around Kabir who was good at photography and Noosh, an Afghanistan girl who comes to India for her higher studies. After college, Noosh returns back to her birth place, and the two lovers eventually gets drifted apart. But what does life have in store for them? Will the two lovers eventually pass by? Or will Kabir be able to hold up his end of the promise?

Kabir gets appointed on a secret mission to Afghanistan where he lodges his destination to be Noosh. But will the two be able to meet? What is this secret mission? One relevant thing was the mention of Talibans in Afghanistan which was up on the news, every other day. Will Noosh still be waiting for Kabir to fetch her? How is he supposed to find her out? The political warmongers will not stop until the end of time and despite setbacks and huge conspiracies, Kabir still ends up in a tug of war between life and love.

The narration is enamoured, the elegant writing style and the simple, well-crafted language was a plus point. Although the spy mission seemed to be a bit of a tangle, I feel the author does a really nice job in putting forward in simple language, the political wrongness in recent times. Thrilling and romantic at the same time, this book is definitely a page-turner.

The book has a catchy cover and is based on real events that interested me. Kabir and Noosh are the two main characters. The book began with Noosh counting the days as long as Kabir was gone. Kabir is a young travel journalist who flew to Afghanistan on a special project. As we know the current situation in Afghanistan, it was interesting for me to read it to get a clear picture of the country then and now. The action takes place in the 1980s, and in the following chapters, it goes back in time, just like three years ago. Kabir has a professor whom he considered an idol. Professor Sizov offered him a special project, but for that, he must be a spy. Read the book to reveal the rest of the story. I liked how the story expanded into the vast timeline and geographic locations.
It's hard to write, can be boring or boring at times, but the author really did a great job. I love how the author communicated every emotion. Writing a story in a timeline is also hard work and it's well written. I liked the romantic and political twist of the story. It brought joy and curiosity. But sometimes, in the middle way, the long political display was kind of boring. At first, it seems a love story, but in the end, the full mix of political satire makes it somewhat uncomfortable.
The author's narrative style is mesmerizing. The language of the book is clear for everyone to understand. Generally good.

Though the plot of the book is set in various times but this seems a perfect time for the book to arrive, since Afghanistan is in the headlines once again.

Not without your love is the story of Kabir and Noosh. Kabir is a travel journalist and is on an assignment to Afghanistan on an assignment by the authorities. And the real reason to take up this assignment was to meet Noosh, the love of his life. The story has a lot to offer other than just the romance part, the emotional ups and downs, the political situation, the role of superpowers in that situation, the adventure, the raw beauty of Afghanistan.

The plot is fast paced and offers a lot of political drama and emotional up downs. In that area the author has done a great job. However, the characterisation could have been better, the characters should have been given some time before the drama could take off. The cover of the book is nice but doesn’t give much insight about the story. The title is catchy.

All in all the book is a beginner friendly and captivating one. If you have slight knowledge about the political situation of Afghanistan, you will be able to enjoy this one more.

✨The only reason why I felt intrigued and decided to pick this book up is that the story is set up in Afghanistan (in late 70s) which is all over news these days. Also, the book is based on a true story, so I was thrilled to read it.

✨Kabir, an Indian boy and a travel journalist meets Noosh, a smart and spirited Persian girl in their college in Russia and falls in love with her. But Noosh has to return to her home town in Afghanistan after completing the course and Kabir promises her that he'll come and ask for her hand from his father. But it's been 2 years and they haven't seen each other even once.

✨Finally Kabir gets an opportunity from his favourite professor to go to Afghanistan on a special project in which he needs to be a spy. But deep down he knew that his only reason for going there is Noosh. Little did Kabir know, that he is going to be a part of a bigger conspiracy which will eventually lead to a war.

✨The story is very fast paced at the beginning, and there was a lot to understand including lots of political tension and stuff but gets a decent pace eventually. The second half of the book is more appealing but I actually felt hooked in only the last 30-35 pages of the book. Plot and storyline is decent but some parts lacked emotions due to some flat sentences or paragraphs. Characters are well written and the story has a filmy touch to it. Over all, it can surely be considered as a nice one time read. If you are a fan of romantic thrillers mixed with politics, you're gonna like this book.

For Kabir, Afghanistan is Nooshistan, because it is where the love of his life Noosh lives. Kabir and Noosh fell in love with each other during their college days, it wasn't love at first sight, their connection was on a deeper level, it was a soul connection. But Noosh had to go back to Afghanistan after completing her studies and Kabir promised to visit her and ask her hand for marriage.

The year is 1977 and Kabir is in Afghanistan, his real goal is to meet Noosh but he has come as a travel journalist but actually he is a spy and this is the beginning of the series of interesting things that make up the plot of this book, Not Without Your Love by Arvind Parashar.

The plot is really interesting and the romance is muted as there are other elements at play too like adventure, mystery and thrill. You get hooked since the first page and want to know what happens next, so you keep flipping pages. The characters are also nicely written. The book is set in Afghanistan and is actually a period drama and not just a romance novel. I liked it and recommend it!

Noosh, I listen to you when you look into my eyes, not when you talk.

🌹Kabir is a young travel journalist who goes to Afghanistan for a special project where he has to work as a spy.
🌹Noosh is a bold workaholic woman who works for humanity.

Kabir and Noosh, are in love with each other since their college days. But after college they are in a long distance relationship. Noosh lives in Herat, a city in Afghanistan. So Kabir is also giving her a surprise visit.
But the special project of which Kabir is a part of leads to destructive war in the country and the couple has to battle for their survival amidst these warships. When the situation gets out of control in the country, the couple gets seperated in the war.

🍀💞To conclude I would say that this was my first thriller romance and I really liked it. Personally, I found the second half of the book so interesting that I literally got hooked to it. And the ending chapters were giving me chills so I really enjoyed this one.

Book Name: Not without you love
Author: Arvind Parashar
CHARACTERS:
Kabir: a young and dynamic travel journalist and an undercover agent who lands in Afghanistan for a special project. But he has only one thing in mind, his beloved Noosh.
Noosh: smart and spirited, she has known Kabir since her college days. In her hometown, buried under political unrest, she is waiting for her beloved, Kabir, the man of her dreams.

"There were promises to be kept. There was a heart to be mended. There was love to be continued"

First when you see the cover of the book, you would feel that it will be another Romantic love story concerning a couple and their undying love for each other but believe me, it is something more than that, glueing the reader's attention from the very first minute to the end phrase. Personally, what i liked about the book is its description of the unrest in Afghanistan and the secret occupations of America and the USSR in the Land of the death of Kingdoms and the absolute mastering capability of the author who very skillfully combines the Thrill of the unknown and Love of two lovebirds into a captivating and riveting short story.

Areas that could be worked on include, there are many lengthy and unnecessary dialogues in the story which clearly shows that the story is getting extended in that manner. Some more valid descriptions of the Afghan unrest could have been used but it is understandable that it's a short story not a historical novel.
The language is very clean and simple making it a good option for beginners and regarding the plot, it is quite is interesting and keeps you busy turning pages.

Afghanistan, 1977. Not Without Your Love is a brutal story of love, faith, and betrayal in a time of war, emotions are so powerful that it just takes my heart. I liked the main character of Kabir, a young and energetic travel journalist who lands in Afghanistan for a special project. But his actual destination is Noosh, the love of his life.
What a beautiful and heartfelt true story about love based on the perfect backdrop of Afghanistan. Starting from the cover that looks amazing and giving us a feeling of love and hope. I have already read one book by Arvind, and I know his writing style that keeps the readers bound with the feelings and emotions of the characters like they are part of your life.

The story has so many contrasts that make you laugh, cry and entertain at the same time. The story is fast-paced and engaging, anyone can read this book in just one sitting. For me, this book is a wonderful experience, and it undoubtedly touched my heart.

The title of the book and the cove page predicting the storyline well. This novel proves the superiority of love.

Kabir, a journalist and his college girlfriend Noosh's real love story. How he enforced the secret project of his professor Sizov?
What is the political situation going on in Afghanistan? Did Kabir meet Noosh? Did he convince Noosh's father of their marriage? How did Kabir handle these two wars? What are the hard times he has faced with his project and life? to know the suspense please give it a read.

The background( story frame ) of the novel enthralled the readers. Sensitive love story embedded into the conspiracy. Character sketch gives a practical move. Language If this novel is rational. The plot construction is predicting the setbacks in focus.
Overall, I recommend this book to all.

This book is a romantic thriller. The beginning was good and i liked the way the story started. The story was set in 1977, Kabir our protagonist was a journalist who was assigned on a special project in Afghanistan by his professor. He also take that opportunity to meet his girl, Noosh.

There was War scenes in this book, so I expected to see how people faces the loss of their family member. But this book gave importance only to Kabir and Noosh not to the secondary characters which i don't like. The middle part seems like a bit dragging. The ending was predictable. It's a good read.

The book has a catchy cover and it’s written based on true story that attracted me. Kabir and Noosh are two main characters. The book started with Noosh counting days that how long had Kabir been away. Kabir is a young travel journalist, he landed in Afghanistan for a special project. As we know the current situation going on in Afghanistan, I was fascinated to read this one to know clear picture of that country back then and now. The story has been set up in 1980s around and it goes in flashback in later chapters like three years ago. Kabir has a professor, whom he considered an idol. Professor Sizov offered him a special project but for that he has to be a spy. Read the book to unfold further plot. I liked how the plot is expanded to a vast timeline and geographical locations. Writing that is difficult as sometimes it can be messy or boring but author has done indeed a great job in it. I like how author has portrayed every single emotions. Writing story timeline wise is also a tough job and it’s written wonderfully. I liked the romance and political touch to the story. It brought twist and interesting. The narration style of the author is captivating. The language of the book is lucid so that everyone can pick it up. Overall good one.

'Ever has it been that love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation.' - William Shakespeare

Arvind Parashar, starts this romantic thriller novel with the beautiful quote by Shakespeare and you can see it come true in this tragic story. The novel starts with a prologue, where Noosh, the protagonist of the novel is pining about Kabir, the love of her life and the father of her unborn child. It's a story of love and separation, friendships and hatred, and life and death.

Spoilers:

The novel starts with Kabir and the two other journalists Nikita and Jemima who comes to Afghanistan for their job assignment. Kabir comes to find the love of his life in Herat, Noosh. They met in the first year of engineering and it was like a pair made in heaven.
Soon, it is clear that Kabir hasn't just come for his journalist work, but as a spy for his professor Sizov, who was at a high position in KGB, USSR's secret services. On the journey to meet Noosh, he meets all kind of people, friendly and trustworthy to selfish and false people. He also gets to know about inner workings of USSR and finds out that everything is not as it seems. When he finally arrives at Herat, Noosh's hometown, it is at difficult situations. Noosh's uncle and Nur's(Kabir's taxi driver) brother Jafer had been murdered. And later Kabir suspects Yuri, the KGB operator of Kabul since evidence was found against him.
Kabir works with USSR and professor Sizov while Noosh was working with Americans to help develop her country. When they meet, for them it's like meeting after eternity and Kabir proposes to her for marriage in the first meeting. But Noosh is doubtful as she feels they have different paths. As the story continues, Kabir keeps finding loopholes and lies in works of USSR. So, he starts working with America at the suggestions of Noosh. And then he gets a shocking revelation. Something that turns his entire life upside down. A short period later, Afghanistan becomes a war-torn zone, where USSR tries to occupy the country while America tries to counterattack. Devastation and bloodshed covers the whole country and many people are forced to escape. But Kabir decides to stay there and help everyone in need since he believes he is the one to blame as he worked with USSR in the beginning. Noosh wants to go to India, but due to Kabir she also stays there. And during that time, the two of them tie the knot with the support and blessings of Noosh's father and Nur.
On one side, we see noosh and Kabir happily starting their life and on the other we see reality of war and how between fight of politicians innocent people have to suffer. Few months after their marriage, Noosh gets to know she is pregnant and hearing that Kabir decides that now is the time to go back to India. Then the worse thing happens, they get the news that Noosh's father has died and she goes into shock. In that period of fear and heartbreak, Kabir takes care of her while trying to find a way to get to India. But the situations get much worse as USSR bombs many hotels, houses and roads. And in these hard times, the three people who had been with him from the beginning were Babu, Meer and Salem, the three best friends or the three musketeers who couldn't live without each other. But then the worse thing happens, the USSR troops finds out their place and Kabir and Noosh are forced to separate. Noosh arrives in India to her in-laws, pregnant with Kabir's child and with hope that they will soon meet. But Noosh has to give birth to her child without Kabir and he returns home after almost ten years. And when they do meet it's one of the heart-wrenching scenes ever.

This novel is a heart-rending tale of love and war, showing the realities of war-torn countries and how love finds a way even in worst situations. It's a beautiful read for both who love historical fiction and romance genre. So, I highly recommend everyone to read this book.

The plot is set in Afghanistan in the 1970s, when the country was in the midst of a civil war. The novel's main characters are Kabir and Noosh. Noosh begins the storey by counting down the days since Kabir had gone missing. Kabir is a travel journalist who undertook an undercover mission in Afghanistan. This novel piqued my interest because the present situation in Afghanistan is really sad, and the book is based on true events. We can notice leaps in another chronology that is around 3 years ago in between the storylines. Kabir had a teacher who he regarded as a source of inspiration and mentorship.
So he couldn't say no when his teacher offered him the extraordinary responsibility of working as an undercover government agent in Afghanistan. In the midst of the chaos, our main characters Kabir and Noosh try to find love for each other and do their part for the country and its people. I got pumped up when I realised the storey was based on true events. The book describes the tensions in Afghanistan as well as the roles of Russians and Americans in the conflict. Everything happened so quickly in the storey that it was tough to keep up, but it eventually slowed down to a reasonable pace. I liked how the plot was expanded to cover such a large timeframe and geological area range. Writing that is difficult because it can be a muddle or exhausting at times, but the author has done an excellent job in the book. The author has captured the characters' raw emotions in great depth. I preferred the story's spirit and political overtones. It took an unexpected turn, and it was enthralling. The author's portrayal style is captivating. The book's language is clear, allowing readers to immediately immerse themselves in the plot. As the storey progressed, each of the characters had fully developed, leaving their mark. I wouldn't call it a light read because it will make readers snicker, cry, panic, and feel every emotion vividly.
The finest thing about the book is that the readers have no idea what's going to happen right immediately. I was eagerly anticipating Kabir and Noosh's meeting from the moment I started reading this book. The author has made a sincere attempt to make it feel like a movie. The conclusion was negotiable. The significance of friendship and support from colleagues has also been clearly represented. Overall, I'd say it was an enthralling and enthusiastic reader.

NOT WITHOUT YOUR LOVE BY ARVIND PARASHAR

The story follows Kabir, an Indian journalist working for America, spying for the Soviet, in Afghanistan. Mind boggling enough? Wait to read further.
Roughly the story can be divided into two parts- the conflict and the love story.
The conflict is how war broke out in Afghanistan, months of tension leading upto it and the aftermath.
The love story is how Kabir and Noosh falls in love and Kabir goes to Afganistan with the sole purpose of marrying Noosh.

My thoughts about the story in few points.
1.Since the story was set in the 70's I was hoping for more historical details that I didn't find and often I would think this happened just yesterday because there were no instances of a past long gone.
2. The characters were very plain. Kabir and Noosh stood out from others as protagonists but if you asked me to describe them, I wouldn't be able to. Other than their jobs, I don't remember a single quirk.
3. Too much politics that left me unsettled. I loved the last pages much more than the first half of the story. For beginners in politics like me, there was too much information that only left me confused instead of informed.
4. Wrong placement of suspense. The story began with Noosh waiting for Kabir in Bombay. There's an instance in the story where Noosh is missing. If I didn't know that Noosh reaches Bombay, I would be scared for her life during that part, but the suspense and fear didn't register. The fate of Kabir was however well executed. It left me tethering on the edge.
5. The whole concept of spying. I'm 95% sure if someone asked me to describe who Kabir spied for, I'll have no answer because it was so confusing. Sometimes he was with the States, sometimes the Soviet. I couldn't keep pace with his changing sides.
6. I loved the climax but that doesn't change the story leading upto it. It's one of the books which I began with alot of expectations but left disappointed.
7. The narration was decent. The dialogues were forced and superficial. It didn't feel natural and smooth. ' Haha, Kabir laughed.' No one laughs like that. The part without dialogues felt more convincing than the forced word play.
8. Loved the simple Language which makes it an easy read.
9. I love books with the average length of 200-400 pages. I think it makes for a perfect story and its neither too long nor too short.
10. The plot was interesting and had alot of potential. Love story set in the backdrops of a war. Thrilling and romantic.

‘Not without Your Love’ by Arvind Parashar is a story set in the 1970s in Afghanistan. The story revolves around Noosh and Kabir. Kabir is a travel journalist who is love with Noosh since their college time. After completing her education Noosh returns back to her native place due to which they both had to part their ways but Kabir had promised her to come for her and ask her hand with her father. Soon, Kabir is given an opportunity but he is skeptical at first but finally says yes and thinks that he will make certain decision later. Little does Kabir know that he is getting involved in a very conspiracy and is being used to the likes of the higher authority. Will Noosh and Kabir be able to fight all the odds and be together? To know read ‘Not without Your Love’.
My Thoughts:
The plot is based on true events and we actually get to see the political unrest, the outbreak of war and how people can get involved in the conspiracies of these politicians can be seen very well through this story. The unexpected plot twists will surely leave the readers shocked and emotional too and would make them eager to know what is going to happen next.
Characters are well developed. Noosh is a hardworking girl who wants to do something for the people of her country. Kabir too is a person who is highly committed to his work and someone who likes to keep his word. We can surely feel the emotions that these two characters are going through and the ways things turn out will surely make the readers emotional too.
Language is simple and lucid. Narration was good and the pace of the story was fast. The book cover is beautiful depicting the emotions of the characters. The title of the book is apt to the plot.
Overall, this was a emotional read where the readers will get to read a story which is based on faith.

The book spun around Noosh and Kabir which is good to go in Afghanistan war land and Udaipur Rajasthan.

Kabir is an Indian person energetic for photography and planned to turn into a photograph writer. Noosh is a Persian young lady, had a place with Herat, Afganistan who is especially energetic and dedicated towards her examinations.

The two of them met with one another in College and a bud of adoration began blooming inside them in Russia. Noosh has finished her course and all set to got once again to her local. However, Kabir guaranteed her that he will come to Afganistan and got some information about their marriage.

In any case, times dying and it's close around 2 years yet Noosh don't have any hints of Kabir. Yet, then again Kabir is consistently on a chase of getting an opportunity to go to Afganistan and satisfy his guarantee.

At long last he got an opportunity to go to Afganistan yet as a government operative specialist.

To find out about it snatch the book and check it out.

Front of the book is decent it's delightfully planned with a pleasant background of picturesque view. Composing style of the book is explaining enlightening and an excursion of up and down highs n lows that just snared you with the book till the end. Language is basic effectively justifiable however somewhere inside it's extremely significant and a flavourful read. Characters are flawlessly depicted and take you on an enthusiastic excursion of life and endeavors of making your life your affection your fantasies satisfied. Portrayal is the most lovely thing I experienced in the book. Simply faultless right on target portrayal in a rich smooth speed that cause you to comprehend the quintessence of unadulterated love upto an extraordinary degree. Well paced storyline that will snared you till the last page.
