High Britannia and Langobarti have joined forces, and now the two nations’ troops occupy the fortified city of Grebeauvoir! At the request of Second Prince Latrielle, Regis joins the First Army in its campaign to recapture the stolen territory, devising a scheme that ultimately allows Third-Grade Combat Officer Jean Juris de Varèse to infiltrate the city. With the cooperation of a girl named Fel, it is the esteemed officer’s duty to meet the representative of the captive civilians. Will the conflict with High Britannia finally reach its conclusion? Here is the tenth volume of a tale of war, love, and politics, woven by the bookworm and the sword princess.
Well, since it is a Japanese light novel [which I adore], I know my opinion on this book will be slightly biased but: IT'S FRICKIN AWESOME!!! DAT CHARACTER GROWTH, SO OP!! A COMMONER JUST NONCHALANTLY LEADING ROYALS BY THE NOSE! SERIOUSLY BEST JAPANESE LIGHT NOVEL EVER! Its been a while since I have read stories about side-characters and actually cared about them. It is a light novel, but doesn't fall into the harem and marshmallow route, much appreciated! It is just well written, battle scenes, strategizing and stuf and no cheap slapstick humor... I am really enjoying this read, and can't wait for the next volume to be translated!!!
