A story of dramatic healing on a whole, traditional foods diet. I bought the book in hopes it would help a family member with chronic pain. After reading it, though, I chose not to give it to them, because the diet recommendations at the end are far too foreign to someone still mired in the Standard American Diet. Beet kvass and cod liver oil, for example, aren't strange to those of us who have made the transition to a traditional diet already, but if you were still eating cereal with soy milk, thinking it's a healthy breakfast, this plan would be totally incomprehensible.
