This is a good vintage samurai action book that even helps you with the terminology of the genre and the history of their dominant period in Japan. The frequently infused humor is funny but by no means hilarious.
The art is above average and captures the atmosphere, details of people/clothing and architecture that encompassed the era well- I wouldn't be surprised if MANY of hours of research was put into it.
In terms of the rest of the story which is abruptly suspended- I don't believe the book that continues the story is available in English. It may have never been published but at least two sequels were already named AND have Catalan Communications (under the imprint "ComCat") ISBNs attached to them if you search 0874161... on searches that allow that so they might exist through another publisher.
