an adventurous romp thru prehistoric times after a modern world apocalyptic event
This is an adventurous romp through prehistoric times of the dinosaurs after an apocalyptic event in today’s world. An extraordinary cast of characters and a unique and entertaining storyline. Scientist playing with things they probably should not have created time rests that ripped parts of cities around the world out of our time and shove them back into prehistoric times. In the same innocent chunks of prehistoric time ripped forward into our time in their place. Along with those chunks of cities and areas around the world we’re all of the people that were also sent back. Our story is based around initially one particular city and the people around there. It expands into them exploring and finding other survivors years later. Read on and follow the adventures of rogue and her family and friends as they try and survive the time of dinosaurs. Extraordinarily entertaining with a cast of characters they will draw you in to either love them or hate them. Not all of them will survive but some of them are bound to survive at least a while. Enjoy.
This captivating series is one I would have missed if it were not for Baileigh Higgins' willingness to offer it on KU. I'm so grateful that she did. I purchased the box set at a splendid price in gratitude for her generosity. It continues on with the same excitement, suspense and riveting action while delivering characters that you can love... or not. I'm enjoying the ride and am heading straight into Book 9. These aren't stand-alone books, but it is worth the time to binge the series. The romances are closed door and there is minimal, mild cursing in a spot or two. Best of all, I just discovered the next series in the Primordial world. I plan to binge that too, with every expectation that Higgins ability to weave her stories will continue. 5 happy little stars -ncv
I don't respect politicians in this world or in any fictional tale written because it's they who cause the trouble due to their craving for power, disregard for anyone but themselves and greed...enter yet another. Between politicians and scientists, humanity is doomed. They all seem devoid of compassion and kindness.
This episode from the box set I have, is no exception to the rule. However, this is fictional, so perhaps there may be hope for the survivors, those who have been plunged into a prehistoric Earth, where dinosaurs roam.
The saga continues, with the struggles of the temporally-challenged survivors in an age a dinosaurs. Carefully researched, with characters one cares about, this is, like the rest of the series a fast-paced book, difficult to put down. Great characterisations (even if I am one of those suddenly transported to this world - thanks, Baileigh, appreciate that :). Each book in the series is a quick read, so time well spent.
So, Seth, Rogue and company are headed out for parts unknown on a mission for the mayor. Success is a heavy burden, failure could mean death. Lt. Cummings rescues the survivors of the plane crash…they were on their way to becoming Dino treats. You will have to read this for yourself to find out the rest of the story!
I love this series, who wouldn’t…it has dinosaurs in it! Joking aside, I really do. The characters are ‘familiar friends’ and it’s good to get back and find out how they’re doing. I liked how this book went back and forth between the different main characters stories and there were a few good tense moments. Can’t wait for the next one!
I continue to enjoy the series, all the characters are interesting. The action moves the story along, and of course dinosaurs can’t go wrong with dinosaurs 🦕. But I’m a little concerned the stories are pretty short actually, and I can’t imagine the series wrapping up with only one more book, considering the way that so many loose ends were left .
A great eighth part to this exciting end of the world with dinosaurs dystopian series! Struggles & strife for the main characters, the plot thickens! A whirl wind adventure & over all a good read! I do really enjoy this series & always look forward to more by this writer!
This is another winner from Baileigh Higgins. Continuation of her fabulous prehistoric post apocalyptic tale following her great characters through more trials and tribulations in the world of dinosaurs after a time shift for parts of the world.
The adventures of Rogue and her friends in this prehistoric world they were thrown in continues. She, Seth and the others go on a mission for the mayor of Vancouver so Prime will be getting the much needed supplies in getting through the upcoming winter. Looking forward to the next part.
This episode was as exciting as the ones before it. I love the primordial landscape with all of us instant dangers. Oof course the most dangerous and fearsome beasts are always the people. Looking forward to staying the next one.
Love this series. This is book 8 and I feel as though I was with the survivors in every way, well almost some situations I could leave behind. But seriously the stories each time have you wanting more. I just cannot wait for the next chapter in the characters lives. Highly Recommended
This is such an original, exciting series and book 8 follows on beautifully. There’s action, loss, hope and love for the characters. And riveting pages that allow the reader follow. So very worth while.
Book 8 finds Rogue, Seth and company heading out on the Mayor's secret mission. They are joined by acquaintances of Jessica's whom Rogue has a hard time trusting. Meanwhile Prime City is finally doing better except for Kat who is fighting for her and her baby's life.
Monsters bound in this somewhat new interpretation of dystopian fiction. The Jurassic Monsters are a welcome change from deadly biker gangs and mentally disturbed psychopaths.
Definitely better than the last book. The mayor definitely is hiding something and this group that Jessica called to help them seems suspicious - at least some of them.
I have become quite invested in these characters. I have found, though the settings are well wrought that this author has great character driven series.
