What an exciting first read by this author! The intensity of these characters left me speechless. I was blown away by Holden and Juliette’s story, their rocky climb over unfortunate obstacles, and how they were able to learn from their mistakes. Ashley’s ability to connect with her audience was astonishing, and character development was outstanding!

I was struck into silence as supreme contentedness swept over me. This was what happiness felt like. I’d never experienced it before. -Holden

Juliette was such a naive young girl, never having to want nor need for anything. But, even with her lack of affection from her parents, she still grew up into a strong young lady. She portrays a secure attitude of confidence, never backing down from what she wants. Her heart was shattered into pieces when her best friend was forced out of her life, and she has tried for over ten years to forget.

Holden is a man after revenge, from growing up poor to becoming a very successful man. His confidence and arrogance is not what you would picture as he still understands the struggles of those who are going through what his childhood entailed. But, being forced to leave the one girl he cared for behind, had more of an effect on him than he realized.

Their connection was so intoxicatingly beautiful and rooted to the core with love. From childhood into adults, their hearts beat in unison and you can feel their chemistry through the pages. How they came back together like they were never separated, proved that love conquers all. And, the intimacy was through the roof!! So excited for new releases by this amazing author!

Revengeful Romeo by Ashley Bostock is a great addition to the cocky hero series, inspired by Playboy Pilot. This is the story of Holden and Juliette who became friends as kids but their fate separated them. They both chased their dreams on the bucket list however Juliette had decided to put a stop to when she turned twenty one. Living with her parents who showed her almost no love and wanted for her to get married so they can keep their company running, Juliette decides in a spurt of the moment that she’s going to follow her dreams, move away and finds a job that will make her happy.
But that all changes when she comes face to face with the CEO who also happens to be her childhood friend, Holden.
What happens after you will have to read it to find out for yourself.

The story is beautiful and full of emotions filled with passion and hot steamy scenes. I absolutely loved Haden and Juliette and their love for each other ❤️❤️❤️

12 years ago, Juliette and Holden parted under sad circumstances, but both promised to keep in touch. Holden didn't keep his end of the bargain, allowing the friendship to die. When the Juliette unknowingly applies for and accepts a job at the company Holden now owns, friction abounds and sparks fly as the two work through the pain of the past and what it means for their current relationship.

“What is written in the stars cannot be avoided.”

Though Holden initially tried to avoid his feelings for Juliette when she was 16 and he 19, life brought the two of them right back into each other's lives in the most unexpected and interesting way. Their connection was strong and though badly damaged, it wasn't completely broken even more than a decade later.

"I was in love with Holden. I had always been in love with Holden. I felt as if he had been made for my body and soul."

Juliette tries to reconcile the Holden she grew up with to the blunt, cold businessman she now knows. She knows some part of the boy she knew still lingers, but wonders if he will ever understand that all the money in the world won't make you happier if your heart isn't in the right place.

"I want to be smothered with love. Friendship. Happiness... For once in my life, I want someone who values me for me."

When the chance to be with Juliette arises, Holden grabs it with both hands, knowing that with Juliette is where he is most happy.

"This was what happiness felt like. I'd never experienced it before."

I enjoyed the read. I loved the whole concept of the bucket list and the way the author made it central to the plot. I loved Holden & Juliette's banter. I liked that although Juliette was sheltered and naïve about many things, she still had a strong backbone, and knew when to push, yield or stand her ground. Holden just needed to have his head screwed on straight, but I never doubted he and Juliette's chemistry.

I recommend this read wholeheartedly and unreservedly. Ashley Bostock has written a really good book that is a great addition to the Cocky Hero Club series.

To say I loved Revengeful Romeo, and Holden and Juliette would be an understatement. I couldn't put this book down, I had to know how it would end!! Holden and Juliette have been best friends since they were really young, and when they got older those feelings changed to more than friends, not that they told each other how they felt. Juliette grew up with money but things aren't always greener on the other side. Her parents are distant, and just go and do their own thing. Holden's dad worked for Juliette's parents as their gardener, so they got close because Holden and his father lived on the property and they would hang out. Holden ends up moving away with his dad to California which shatters Juliette and they lose touch for a decade and until Juliette decides she's gonna take control of her life and leaves the only place she's ever known for a job in New York. She has no idea who she will be working for and when she arrives for her first day on the job as a personal assistant she meets her boss and it's none other than Holden King!! He's grown up and made something of himself and he is shocked to see who his new assistant is. This is a story of second chances, and friends quite possibly becoming more, but first they have to get through a few hurdles...will they, or will they be just too much to overcome? Y'all are just gonna have to read this awesome book to find out if both Holden and Juliette get what they have always wanted

Juliette comes from a wealthy family, but her favorite person in the world when she was a child was Holden, an employee's (of her parents) son. It broke her heart when he moved away, but they promised to keep in touch, and they had their bucket lists. However, Holden kept that promise & she finally had to let it all go so she stopped with her list, and this is why I wasn't a fan of Holden's for a cool minute to be honest. Yeah, he achieved almost everything on his list, but with all the money he made, he could have done something to find her again but you already know money doesn't buy happiness. See, when Juliette decided to do life on her own because she wasn't going to marry someone her parents wanted her to, she ends up getting a job with his company so he's her boss. There was nothing about him that resembled the best friend she knew, but they did get to know each other again. However, it was one of the things on his bucket list that she took exception to, but will he give it all up for a new future with her?! You know what to do to find out! Revengeful Romeo was a story that I did enjoy but I just had that issue with Holden for that cool minute, however, I seriously loved Juliette! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Juliette and Holden started out as best friends, but she was the spoiled princess and he was the gardener’s son. There was a connection between them from the time they met, but everything changed and that friendship was broken.

Years later, Juliette has been living the life her family expected of her and she isn’t happy. She needs a change and finds a job in New York….her boss? Her former best friend, Holden. Even after all the years apart there is still a TON of chemistry between them, but there is also some pain and heartbreak between them.

I loved the two of them together from the start. Holden and Juliette tried to fight their connection, but they kept being drawn together. Memories of the happy times they shared came up. These two were meant for each other.

I struggled with putting this one down! I was hooked from the start and the ups and downs of their relationship kept me wanting to turn the page and learn more.

If you’re looking for a frenemies to lovers, second chance, workplace romance this is one to check out.

This is a great addition to this amazing series and is Holden and Juliette’s journey. These two were best friends growing up even though they come from completely different backgrounds as she is from a wealthy family and he was the gardeners’ son, and when they were separated Juliette was left heartbroken. Juliette may be a tad naïve as she grew up never needing or wanting anything except for some love from her parents. When Juliette’s parents want her to marry someone she does not want to, she leaves to stand on her own two feet, and she is shocked when she finds out her new boss is none other than Holden, who has achieved everything he set out to do for himself. The chemistry between them is combustible and undeniable, but will they get a second chance? This is a well written story which is emotionally charged, and with revenge, heartbreak, and love, which leads to an entertaining and all-consuming read. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Another great addition to the world of cocky hero’s and this time it’s Holden and Juliet’s challenging journey. This is a story about a couple who became friends as children but they come from different worlds as they grew up fate had different paths laid out for them. Both following dreams that took them to different places until now….
At 21, Juliet has decided it’s now time to take control of her life, cut the apron strings that tie her to her parents and leave home and move to New York to start a new job and a new life.
Imagine the shock when she realises her new boss is actually her childhood friend Holden.
You are going to have to read the book to find out what happens next, all your getting from me is this story blew me away. I was invested in this book from the first couple of pages, I loved Holden and Juliet and once I started reading I needed to know how their journey ended, this is a beautifully written emotional, steamy story that will appeal to a wide range of audiences.

This is a new author to me and she has an affable writing style that will keep any reader engaged. As a first introduction with the Hero Club, she has brought a life to Hunter and Juliette that will keep readers pinned to their seats as their story is read. Juliette and Hunter were childhood best friends but their backgrounds were different. She came from wealth and he did not. When the time came for Hunter to leave, they each promised to keep in touch but unforeseen events had Hunter dropping the ball. Fast forward twelve years and both are thrust back into each other’s life. Will they be able to pick up where things left off or will the past be too much to overcome? Overall, this is one well written storyline that has all the feels. The chemistry between Juliette and Hunter sizzles on the pages. Can these two get a second chance? Read the book to find out…I recommend this book!

Wow . This book had me staying up all night to finish it off . I loved it .
This is the first book I've read by Author Ashley Bostock and I enjoyed every minute of it and it certainly won't be the last book I read if hers .

" What is written in the stars can't be avoided " I loved this quote . And it certainly rang true for Holden and Juliette . A love that started as childhood friends and even though through no fault really of their own time was taken from them they still loved each other regardless .
I loved the chemistry between these two characters and the way Ashley wrote their story kept you turning page after page .

I loved Holden's Grandmother Rosa Maria and her clairvoyance . That was really enjoyable to read .

I just loved everything about this book and look forward to reading more from this Author .

Growing up Juliette could have anything she wanted when it came to material things but not when it came to love. She was used to always being an afterthought when it came to her parents, but she thought it was different when it came to her best friend Holden until he was torn from her life, and she never heard from him again.

When Holden left his hometown and Juliette he was on a mission of revenge and that meant ensuring he became a financial success. He is the CEO of a powerful company and revenge is within his grasp until fate brings Juliette back into his life and he will have to decide what will truly make him happy before it is too late.

Once Juliette was able to come to terms with the betrayal she felt when Holden left it became apparent the chemistry and connection between them was stronger than ever, but their journey wasn’t without some turmoil along the way.

I really enjoyed this story. It's a standalone second chance romance. Juliette and Holden were childhood best friends, but lost touch when Holden moved across the country.
Juliette's parents are controlling but absent at the same time. Never around during her childhood, they are now always around when she is an adult although they still treat her as a child. Sick of them, she takes a job in New York, only to discover Holden as her new boss - and the attraction is definitely still there.
I loved Juliette, even though her family was weathly, she had her head screwed on and was determined to work hard for the family business. Until she realised she'd been taken for granted.
Holden was so sweet with Juliette, and he was so determined to get his revenge on her father, but gaining it could cause him

Holden and Juliette had a friendship like no other when he leaves her in the dust. Now years later they are both grown up and have gone through so many emotional trials. When Juliette gets hired by another company after leaving her families she knows this is the right decision for her and that she will be able to breathe. However, when she walks in and sees her new boss things are about to change. Because now years later she is coming face-to-face with her best friend and she is not happy. Holden didn't think he would see her again hell-bent on revenge on her family and now here she is. Can these two move past all the hurt and have a love like no other? This story is full of twists and turns, but it will be a good time.

I enjoyed reading this friends to lovers/second chance love story by Ashley who was a new author to me. Holden and Juliette are childhood friends who secretly love each other without each other knowing but when he moves away they lose touch. Many years later they reconnect through a job opportunity for Juliette working for Holden. They still have their chemistry which sparks to life but with a major obstacle in their way they have many ups and downs which had me hooked and I couldn’t put it down. This book was so good and is part of The Cocky Hero Club but can be read as a standalone. I received this book as an arc for my honest opinion.

Amazing friends to lovers story!
I fell in love with Juliette and Holden. These two were so close as they grew up. They have a bucket list of things they wanted to do together and separately. Then one day when Juliette was fulfilling one of those things on her list they were ripped apart. Now, years later when Juliette decides she wants to live her own life and not how her father expects her to, she ends up working for Holden. Can these two move past the hurt? The heartache? The revenge planned? You'll have to read this book to find out. The story played out amazingly. The love between them was so deep and real. This is a page turner and you won't be able to put it down.

One of the great things about The Cocky Hero Series is finding new authors with a great writing style. After reading Revengeful Romeo, I not only found a great storyline with wonderful characters, I found a new author with a magnificent writing style. This 2nd chance romance has laughs, heartbreak, coming into one’s own, steamy romance and so much more. I smiled throughout and fell in love with Juliette and Holden the more I read. Their story isn’t all roses and sunshine but what’s meant to be is meant to be.

I highly recommend Grabbing up Revengeful Romeo and simply enjoying it. You won’t be sorry you did. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars!!

I love finding new authors with the Cocky Heroes Club books. I have yet to be disappointed. Juliette and Holden's story was fantastic. They were friends as kids, but life separated them. Juliette comes from a wealthy family and Holden was the gardener's son. Years later, she is unhappy with her life and moves to New York and gets a job. She's surprised to find that Holden is her boss. He's now the CEO of a company and the chemistry between them is still there. They are faced with many ups and downs in their relationship. A great story and great characters.

Wow! This was such a good story. The author is new to me but the story just drew me in. They've know each other since they were kids but went their separate ways. Years later, Juliett isn't happy and wants a change in her life. Holden has never forgotten her and when they meet again, the chemistry is still there! But can they make it work? I love a good friends to lovers story and this one hit all the right notes for me. Be sure to pick this one up!!!

Bostock grabs the heart by the senses and sets about tempting the soul. Revengeful Romeo is a walk down memory lane that stirs up deep emotion. A second chance story with quite a few twists that will pull you under it's spell.

Stayed friends till the fates separated then.

Then she turned twenty one and decided to be an adult but her parents wanted her to fulfill the ultimate sacrifice… marry a man to save their company!!!!

Then she sees him again and oh boy what happened to him is unbelievable .

This is the first book I've read by the author and I loved it. I couldn't put Holden and Juliette's story down. They definitely kept my attention from the very first page until the end. With this series, it's always a hit or miss for me. But this is definitely a hit. I was hooked and invested in their story. And then there's the undeniable chemistry, the banter, and the intense tension between these two that will keep you entertained throughout.

This was an absolutely great addition to the cocky heros series. Holden and Juliette were amazing together. I loved their shared history of being friends In childhood this really helped add another level of love and friendship. Granted they didn't part on the best terms it was great to see that shared history.
Holden didn't have the best of intentions. Do things work out for them? You just have to see.

I loved the second chance between Juliette and Holden. It was ironic that what Juliette was running from was now what Holden had to offer. I loved their old memories and the bucket lists that they would do together. I also loved Holden's grandmother and her clairvoyant ways. That was a fun little element. This was a new author to me and I'm looking forward to reading more.

Good read

Very enjoyable read. Wasn’t sure about the female lead in the first two chapters but she eventually grew a bit of a backbone. A nice second chance romance with a bit of angst and although no retribution for the parents was a good read.
