We are book 2 in this bodyguard series and boyyy!!! Who wants a cowboy bodyguard meeee!!!!!

Shiloh has had a hardish life since she has no parent and is living with a lazy selfish aunt who uses her. Poor girl is working 2 jobs just to make ends meet and have a roof over her head.. poor girl.  Slaving away in a hotdogs suit she gets overheated and is saved by Colton that's where sparks fly even if she tries to push hin away since everyone leaves her. But nope Colton keeps up showing her he is there to stay and never leave. Little drama happens when Shi sees something she shouldn't have and calls Colton for help and boy he and the guys help making sure to call Basco!! (Cameron's mob series) for some Info and help.  We also get a hint of book 3!!! Bodyguard and a librarian!!

This was adorable.
Colton is a cowboy hat wearin’, smooth southern drawl talkin’, charming sweetheart who knows Shiloh is his soulmate the second he lays eyes on her.

Shiloh is a curvy, independent, young woman and the only thing she knows for sure when she lays eyes on Colton for the first time, is that she wishes she was wearing Anything but what she actually was.

But Colton is persistent, and isn’t letting Shiloh out of his sight.

This is cute, and steamy, and short, with just a hint of danger.
It also has cameos from other books by this author, just like the first one did.

Just what I needed to tide me over.

This was a safe and steamy romance between Shiloh, our down-on-her-luck heroine, and Colton, her knight in denim Levi's. I loved how patient and persistent Colton was with Shiloh; he was such a charming cowboy hero. Shiloh was resilient in the face of everything she's faced, but her giggling innocence was a bit much at times. Overall, this was a cute, quick, and steamy read.

While I loved Colton and Shiloh I didn’t like how the sex scenes seemed be to be a copy and paste feel from the first book. It really felt like the names were just changed. Also, how did she get kidnapped? It doesn’t really say other than she wanted to cook dinner for him and it trails off. Ok so did she leave the cabin? How? No car. Did she order food? How did the bad guy know how to find her if he never saw her.

Chicago, really?

I live in Chicago, you’re not driving 10 minutes from anywhere and “arriving at his cabin”. There are no cabins in Chicago. And everything is a lot more than 10 minutes away.
The story was ok, and if it had taken place anywhere else probably 4 stars. But if you’re writing about a city today, do your research.

Fabulous, absolutely love this one. A nice quick short read.

Colton meets Shiloh when she's standing outside Joe's hot dogs in a hot dog costume. Shiloh's mother passed away when she was sixteen and now she lives with her aunt. Her aunt takes advantage of Shiloh, she is working two jobs just to pay the bills since her aunt doesn't work. When Shiloh passes out from being in the costume for to long Colton carries her inside and demands she needs a break. He wants her to take the rest of the day off but she can't afford it, he then asks when he can see her again. Colton does some digging to find out about Shiloh he's part owner of Watchdog Protection. Colton shows up at the flower shop that Shiloh works at and she assumes he's there to pick up flowers for his girlfriend when he asks her what's her favorite flower is. Colton takes his time because he wants Shiloh to get to know him, he goes back to Joe's hot dogs and every time he is around Shiloh is is flustered. She drops the silverware she is carrying and has to make new ones, Colton tries to help but the boss won't let him. When Shiloh witness a murder she calls Colton, he's there and takes her to his home. The next day he makes some phone calls to find out what happened, then he knows he needs to protect Shiloh. Colton doesn't want to rush their relationship but Shiloh tells him she wants him, they get physical. When Colton heads into the office Shiloh slips out of Colton's home and get kidnapped. When Colton finds out he has Logan and Slater help him they head to the warehouse where she is being held. Colton rescues Shiloh then she tells him she wants to go home, he assumes she means her aunts home. When Colton finds out that Shiloh is pregnant he asks her to marry him, he moves her out of her aunts home and into his. Three years later, they have their daughter Amy and Shiloh is expecting another child. Shiloh is in the process of buying the flower shop she has been working at. They have given each other a home, family and a happy ever after.

Shiloh is attracted to this handsome, hunky, southern gentleman and Shiloh doesn’t know it but Colton has already fallen for her. He feels things he has never felt before. It is an instant attraction/instant love. Everything is moving along as they get to know each other. Until the call from Shiloh to Colton. Will Colton be able to save Shiloh? Will Colton protect her from the danger? Will Colton be able to tell her how he feels? Will Shiloh feel the same? They live in different circles. Can they make this work? The characters feel right together - they click. Colton is rich, kind, tender hearted, compassionate and filled with sooo much love for Shiloh. Shiloh is such a good person and she deserves to be loved. It is a quick little read filled with drama and suspense and danger. Very enjoyable and entertaining read!

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! This is book is part of the Watchdog Protection, Inc. series why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. Shiloh is doing her best to make lemonade out of the lemons life have given her, her mother died when she was sixteen and then living with an aunt who has taken advantage of her, she spent all of the money her mom left her, then claiming to be sick she can’t work forcing Shiloh to work two to three jobs. While passing out hot dog samples in a hotdog suit in the heat she passes out in the arms of a stranger. Colton sexy as all get out owner of Watchdog Protection, believes in love at first sight, and listen to his father who told him “when it happens you will know because it will hit you like lightening” and that is what happens when Shiloh passes out in Colton’s are while working. The beautiful women in the hotdog suite walked away with his heart now to convince her of the fact but that chance sooner then they think and not in the way it came. After she witnessed a murder they are after her and she calls Colton the chemistry is insane but is it enough to protect her, will they find out who is after her, will she get to open the flower shop she has dreamed of, does her aunt get what’s coming to her and can they find happiness?

Shiloh has been alone for a long time even though she is living with her aunt. After her mother died, her aunt took her in and stole her inheritence. Shiloh has had to support herself and her aunt since she was 16. Her aunt doesn't work because of ever changing disabilities. Shiloh has a dream to move out on her own and has even started a second job to earn the money. One day after being late to work again at her second job at the hotdog shack, her boss made her wear the disgusting, way too small hot dog costume and hand out samples in the heat. After a long time in the sun and lots of insulting comments, she is feeling light headed. When a kind man asks if she is all right, she collapses in his arms. She wakes up to find the hottest man she has ever seen taking care of her and yelling at her boss. Shiloh falls in love but she knows that he could never be interested in someone like her. Then she witnesses a crime at her other job and the only person she trust to protect her is Colton.

The men in Colton's family know the second they see the perfect woman for them. Colton believd in his dad's words but surprised to find the love of his life falling in his arms dressed as a hot dog. He immediately goes into protective mode and takes care of her. He would do anything to take care of his love but she is very independant. Then she sees something she was never meant to see and asks for his help. Will he ever get her to believe in his love and can he keep her safe?

I REALLLLY wanted to like this book more than I did. I really liked Colton, he was a strong alpha male, who was really tender and sweet. I liked Shiloh for the most part, she was determined, and a very hard worker. I feel like if this book would have been longer, it would have worked, but things just seemed rushed to me throughout the whole book... Colton meets Shiloh, then he basically follows her around to try and persuade her to go on a date with him, but then she witnesses a murder and all of a sudden calls him and (surprise!) he's a protector and has all these connections? Give me a break. I also can't stand how Shiloh constantly body shames herself... I feel like the author meant for her to come across as a size 10 or 12 woman, not super skinny, but healthy with some meat on her bones and some curves (which isn't a bad thing). But throughout the WHOLE book, Shiloh made herself seem like she was a size 20 obese, overweight, unattractive girl, and I didn't like that at all. Then to top it all off, Colton and Shiloh (who's a virgin) have sex and I feel like the author was trying to make it really hot and steamy, but it sounded ridiculous like he tried too hard and it was very copy and paste/bland. I couldn't help but roll my eyes.... and then (surprise!) Shiloh is pregnant?! Give me a damn break.

Honestly really disappointed in this one and how cheesy it was. Again, I think it would have been better if it was a longer story that could have had more time to evolve, but it didn't fit the bill for me this time unfortunately.

A wonderful, sexy, fast action read once started you have to read in one sitting

Shiloh has ah a pretty raw deal since the death of her beloved mother at fifteen years old, then she was taken in by her aunt. A woman that has spent every penny of her inheritance and never lifted one finger to earns a salary or help her as she wore her self of working several jobs a day.

Coltom had known the moment he rescued her suffering from heat stroke dressed as a hot dog that she was his, his heart had recognised the significance of their meeting instantly. Then after she had seen a double murder, he had come to her rescue once again, she had been so brave only worried for his safety and he had loved her even more if that were possible.

Taken hostage by the killer she is once again rescued by him and his friends and he promised that nothing and no one will ever come between her again, he removes her from her aunts home and they start to live a life filled with hard work, lots of love and laughter as they begin to build a family of their own.

This is a wonderful action filled read with wonderful characters and a wonderful storyline.

I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

Shiloh is just trying to make her dreams come true, ever since her mother died and she had to move in with her aunt she has been in survivor mode. She works two jobs just to make ends meet, her aunt used up all her inheritance and now says she can’t work so Shiloh has to pay for everything. Her dream to open her own flower shop is getting harder and harder to see coming true. Colton is ex military who now runs a security company with his two friends, he sees Shiloh while she is working at her second job, he can’t believe his eyes, his beauty is right in front of him and he knows she’s his one. Because she was late her boss makes her out on a hotdog costume and handout samples on the street. It’s a very hot day and when Colton stops to talk to her she passes out from dehydration. He takes her inside and cares for her until she starts feeling better. She can’t believe a hot sexy guy like him is attracted to a young curvy girl like herself. But Colton keeps coming back and she starts to believe him. One evening while closing the hotdog shop she witnesses a man shot and kill two men. She hides behind a dumpster inches away from the dead men, when the killer leaves she makes it back inside the store and calls Colton. He comes and takes her away to protect her. Using the security firm and his contacts he tries to find out who the killer was. When the killer kidnaps her the guys along with his contact rush to her rescue, he gets the bad guys and saves Shiloh. Epilogue with kids and her dream of a flower shop coming true.

Her aunt that took advantage of her and spent her money her mom left and became to "sick" to work. Nineteen year old Shiloh works two jobs to support herself and her aunt. She is late for her second job, and gets stuck outside in the heat passing out hotdog samples in the heat. This where she meets Colton who picks her up when she passes out.

Colton is part owner in the Watchdog Protection (one of his partner's story is Guns & Glitter) he dad always told him he would know when he met the one. That beautiful girl in that hotdog suit just stole his heart. Colton has always had a quick joke and smile, but this girl seems to really see the real him.

Shiloh witnesses a murder and first person she thinks to call is Colton, he rides into her rescue and takes her to his place until he can figure out who might be after her. Things are so hot between the two of them, with Colton trying to hold back until she comes up to speed to the forever after. This is the second in Watchdog Protection, Inc series. This is similar other Cameron Hart books, sweet story with plenty heat and a HEA.

Dos 3 livros da série, esse segundo tinha a sinopse que menos chamou a minha atenção. E não é que ele me surpreendeu? Nossa, eu amei ainda mais que o primeiro livro (e isso porque o primeiro entrou nas minhas listas de favoritos + livros para reler). O primeiro foi excelente, mas esse aqui conseguiu ir além! Gente, que romance per-fei-to!!! Eu amei cada minuto que passei lendo, cada cena, cada passagem, cada declaração. Shiloh, apesar de seus apenas 19 anos, teve uma vida muito difícil e aprendeu que só poderia depender de si mesma. Colton se apaixonou por ela à primeira vista e, com muito amor, paciência, jeitinho e cuidado, vai mostrar a jovem que a pessoa certa nunca a abandonará, sempre a amará e a protegerá. E, caramba, como ele protegeu essa mulher! Como cuidou dela! Ai, que estou toda derretida até agora. Que casal mais perfeito!

O livro ainda tem aquele toque de suspense e perigo, pois Shiloh testemunhou um duplo assassinato envolvendo a máfia e agora estava num perigo maior do que poderia ter imaginado. Haja coração! Já falei e vou repetir: esse livro foi perfeito do começo ao fim, em todos os aspectos! Estou completamente apaixonada. Mais um para a minha lista de favoritos. This is book number 2 of the Watchdog Protection, inc and focuses on Colton and Shiloh. Shiloh was dealt a rough hand when she was a teenager with the unexpected death of her mom. She was sent to live with her aunt who used up all of her money and now uses her as her personal bank. Shiloh is just trying to keep her head above water while trying to achieve her dreams when she meets Colton. Colton knows from first sight that Shiloh is the one for him and is determined to prove to her that he was there to stay. Shiloh is used to people leaving her so she is very much guarded but something about Colton has her defenses cracking when he's around. I loved how Colton knew what he wanted and held on with everything he had while he proved to Shiloh he was all in and just wanted to love, protect, and take care of her. This was such a great story and I loved the journey these 2 went on to get their HEA! Great addition to the series and I can't wait for the next one!

'Ropes And Roses' by Cameron Hart is the second book in her Watchdog Protection, Inc series and tells the story of Shiloh, who works two jobs to support herself and her deadbeat aunt and Colton, a cowboy and part owner of Watchdog Protection. Colton and Shiloh meet when she faints while working one of her jobs and he catches her in his arms. Colton immediately has feelings for Shiloh but she doesn't trust easily pressed easily and brushes him aside. Then Shiloh witnesses a murder and first person she thinks to call is Colton. Colton comes and takes Shiloh to his place to keep her safe.

Ms. Hart has written a great addition to her series. The chemistry between Shiloh and Colton is sizzling but Shiloh is afraid to trust Colton. This book has suspense, danger, surprises, and steam. I enjoyed this story and recommend it to anyone who likes a bit of suspense with their love story. Can not wait for the next book in the series.

And because her aunt took her in after her mother’s death, well, Shiloh feels indebted. She loves her job at the floral shop but the one selling hot dogs? That one SUCKS. So, when a handsome stranger comes on to her, Shiloh does not believe that he could be attracted to her. After all, no one as hot as Colton would ever be interested in her. But Colton knows that she is his One and he will do whatever is necessary to prove it to her. Now, if only he could figure out who is stirring up trouble and putting Shiloh in danger.

It's crazy hot, the hot dog costume is unwashed and Shiloh is uncomfortable. When she faints from the heat, she literally falls into the arms of security specialist Colton. Colton is immediately smitten with the curvy and shy beauty and tries to convince her as quickly as possible that they belong together.
When Shiloh unwittingly witnesses a mafia murder and finds herself in mortal danger, Colton immediately comes to her rescue and places her under his personal protection.
I love Cameron Hart's books - they are a nice pastime with interesting characters, exciting frame story and hot sex scenes. An irresistible mix.

I received this book in advance for a voluntary honest review. This is the 2nd book in the Watchdog Protection, Inc. (Book 1 - Guns & Glitter). Cowboy and Shiloh are perfect together. Shiloh has not had an easy life, she works multiple jobs so she can get away from her aunt who spends all her money and go to college. One of her jobs is at a hotdog shack. Arriving late, her jerk of a boss puts her in a stinky hotdog costume in scorching heat to hand out samples. Cowboy can't take his eyes off of the gorgeous girl in the hotdog suit, luckily he is there to catch her when the heat becomes too much and she faints. Having trust issues, Shiloh does not believe Cowboy when he says they're meant to be and that he loves all her curves. When Shiloh sees something she should not have seen, she calls Cowboy. Taking Shiloh to his home was no hardship, since he wants her to be their permanently. Danger, lust, love and a connection like to other. Loved it!

Give me all the steam! Insta love, curvy girl, alpha, age gap, virgin, short story, steamy romance with a HEA and an epilogue.

Colton happens upon a hot dog that looks about ready to fall over. Instantly he knows whoever is in the hot dog costume is his future.

Shiloh keeps her head held high, no matter the jobs her boss has her do. Being dressed up as a hot dog won’t be the worst thing she’s ever done. When a smooth talking cowboy shows up though, it’s more than she is prepared for.

I love that Shiloh is so strong and wonderful, yet still has some insecurities, like the rest of us. You see her slowly come out of her shell and bloom into a wonderful woman. Colton is the quintessential alpha who protects, treasures and loves with all his heart. Loved this!! Can’t wait for Slater’s story.

If I had to describe Ropes and Roses in one word, it would be delightful! Shiloh has lost the only person that loved her unconditionally. The years since then have been a constant struggle. She doesn't want to let anyone get close, its too painful to be left behind. What she didn't count on was a sexy cowboy who wants to love her and give her everything her heart desires. Colton is perfection, a hot and sweet cowboy with a drawl, need I say more? Shiloh tries to stay strong but he shows her how important she is to him and wins her trust, as well as her heart. The Watchdog Protection series is now officially my favorite series by the lovely Cameron Hart! I cannot wait to see how amazing Books & Bullets is going to be; ten stars for Shiloh and Colton!

Absolutely loved Shiloh and Colton in this second installment! Shiloh has had a rough few years and Colton comes into her life during one of her lowest points. For Colton its love at first sight *swoon* but Shiloh takes a while to warm up to the idea. After witnessing a hit, Shiloh is kidnapped and with the help of the Moscatelli’s (love that they were included!) Colton is able to save his girl. Cameron always delivers with an alpha male, hot chemistry, and steamy scenes. Excellent addition to Watchdog Protection Inc. series!

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is the second book in the Watchdog Protection series. It is a sweet and steamy romance with some drama and danger. Colton is an all around great guy and a dream in cowboy boots. Shiloh spends all of her time trying to keep her head above water. She has not had it easy and her life is fixing to get more complicated. Thank goodness Colton recognized his other half because she needs him in her corner. I really enjoyed their love story. It had great characters with humor, heat and love

This second book in the WatchDog Protection Agency is a great addition to the series. The is Colton and Shiloh’s story. Shiloh is a curvy girl, naive, unexperienced, and lacking self confidence. Colton is an Alpha through and through and finds Shiloh beautiful and perfect for him. And is determined to make her see that. Their story is fast paced, steamy, has some action, and a HEA. And best of all, this entire series and more from Cameron Hart are available to read for FREE with your KU Subscription. Solid 4 stars from me.

Ropes and Roses is book two of the Watchdog Protection Inc. series and is Shiloh and Colton's story. Shiloh's working two jobs trying to save money so she can finally fulfill her dream of opening a Flora Shop one day. While on her second part time job she meets a gorgeous cowboy bodyguard. From the moment Colton sees Shiloh dressed in a hotdog suit he falls instantly for her. This is a fun insta love story with believable characters, and a story filled with humor, drama, danger, steam, and a great ending. I look forward to reading the rest of the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
