This baby was in a anthology and now it's a new series Cameron started!! But if you read this one she added some bonus and another scene!! So we got some new stuff!!!


Logan gets a call from an old buddy to help keep his daughter safe so he takes the job when he meets Spencer its love at first sight!! But since it's his job to protect her he keeps those feelings on lockdown. Until he can make sure shes safe. As for Spencer shes been locked up in her ivory tower thanks to her dad who is overprotective. The relationship is slow and sweet Logan getting to know his woman and learning about who's stalking her. I love Logan even when he was trying to keep his distance and do the job he still was like fudge it shes mine... they are perfect together and we got the Choas MC appearance!! I can't wait to see more of this bodyguard series!!!

Hero has been celibate for years. Heroine is completely innocent and gives the gift of all her firsts to the hero. Totally safe. No others (except for the stalker, obviously) no abuse or cheating of any kind. HEA with epilogue years out

It was an entertaining book.

I was worried about the heroine...how she was kept in a gilded cage by her father, only taking online classes, not having any friends or social life, etc., to then becoming involved with a man 20 years her senior.

She seemed very childlike even though we got to see her take her power back, but this poor girl never got to have a life without a man.

I love Cameron Hart’s novellas.
This one was just what I needed, right when I needed it.
Age gap, growly/sunshine trope, insta-love, steamy sex scenes, a gentle giant, and a little woman with a lot of fire hiding inside her.

It was sweet, and sexy and had moments of humor.

I have a feeling I’m gonna really like this new series from Miss Hart.

There’s nothing really wrong with it that made my rating drop. It just wasn’t fantastically *something* enough to excite me into giving it more stars.

I really enjoyed it.
And I can’t wait to read about the other guys on the team.

Get ready for a thrilling read in many ways

Guns & Glitter is the first book in the new Watchdog Protection, Inc. series. After reading this first story about Logan and Spencer I am hooked. It is sweet, sassy, fun but at the same time there is drama, danger, suspense and then add in the white hot sparking passionate chemistry ...... WOW!!!

Nice first book in a new series. Some old ties bring Logan into Spencer’s life. Lots of action and suspense. Spencer’s father is a mystery. Lots of steam and great epilogues.

I absolutely loved this one. Logan and Spencer tried to hide what they were feeling, but true love never stays hidden for long. The strength that Spencer showed in her time of need, and the support Logan always gave her makes for a fabulous read.

Spencer lived a sheltered life thanks to her overprotective father, but when she gets a stalker her father hires his old friend Logan to watch over her. Sparks fly between the two at first sight but Spencer is a job first and until she is safe Logan won't go any further no matter how much she teases and he wants. Well written age gap, protective romance, woth a good plot line and well developed characters

Guns & Glitter is the first book in the Watchdog Protection Inc. Series, a curvy girl/bodyguard romance.

Sweet, steamy age gap romance that is well written and reads quickly. The characters are pretty developed for being a short story, only 94 pages. Logan is so sweet, he treats Spencer with so much respect and as an equal. He builds her up, pushes her to spread her wings, and fly.
I felt sorry for Spencer for being pushed into a golden cage, and I was so proud when she stepped into her own energy and spread her wings.
From the first minute this couple met, there was so much tension between them, their chemistry dripped from the pages.

The first sex scene appeared 54% into the book, but it's full steam ahead from then on. The heroine is a virgin, this, of course, gets mentioned, but there is no big scene around, no weird comment.
During the sex scenes, there was no mention of any use of a condom, and this bothered me a little. Protection is so important, but in my opinion, carelessly forgetting it didn't suit the characters.

Short read with little drama, lots of tension, emotion, and steam. It's the perfect quickie.

Fabulous, absolutely love this one. A nice quick short read.

Logan meets Spencer when her dad hires him to protect her since he's going out of town for two weeks. Spencer has a stalker who is after her, Logan and Spencer's dad trained in the marines together and haven't spoken in twelve years. When Spencer was five years old her mother and her were in a horrible car accident, her mother passed away. Spencer was eight when she finally healed from all the surgeries. Spencer's dad had her homeschooled and keeps her inside as much as he can, she is taking online college courses now but has to keep her camera off on her computers. Spencer finds letters left for her on her front porch. When her dad leaves Logan asks him about Spencer's stalker but her dad doesn't give a lot of details about the situation. When Logan finds a man jumped the fence he finds a safe house for the to go to they pack a bag. Spencer falls asleep while on the drive and when she wakes she is in a strange place and it's dark. She goes to get a drink of water and finds Logan on the floor in front of the fireplace. Spencer cuddles up next to Logan on the floor, when he feels her he asks her if she alright. She tells him she is now, they begin kissing and they get physical. The next morning they wake and Logan tells her he needs to get her something to eat, but they get physical once again. Logan goes outside to cut some firewood while Spencer works on her art. She hears a noise outside and tells herself it's Logan. When she hears footsteps on the front porch she knows that's not Logan. When the person comes into the house she throws scissor at them, and then her art supplies. When the man pulls a gun on Spencer it slips out of his hand, she picks up the gun and points it at him. Logan hears a commotion and comes to see, he takes over for Spencer but then tells her to go into the other room. Spencer tells him no, she wants to know why this man was stalking her. So Logan lets Spencer ask the man some questions, she is shocked when she finds out he's the one who caused her mother's death. Logan calls in a favor, Chaos MC members comes to help with the man, he tells Spencer to get a shower. The next day, Logan asks Spencer to marry him and she tells him yes. Eight years later, Spencer is getting ready for her art show. Logan convince her to change her major to art studies. They have a seven year old daughter, Serena. Fifteen years later, Serena now fourteen, they also have seven year old Sophie. They celebrate fifteen years together, life without each other doesn't exits.

Watchdog Protection Inc Book 1 - Guns & Glitter - Cameron Hart

This is the first in a new series and I absolutely loved it! This is a really enjoyable read, packed with insta love, scenes hot enough to melt your kindle and sweet enough to give you tooth ache and throw in a handful of glitter, some action, a glimpse at an MC group whom I hope get their stories told and so much more.
Logan Bennett at the age of nearly fourty he has now left the marines and set up his own protection service along with some of his brothers from the service Colton and Slater and I can't wait to learn more about them either! Being an ex marine Logan is all about, discipline, routine, order, being aware constantly because someone else's  life is in your hands. When he gets a call from a former team mate he doesn't hesitate to step in and help look after his daughter from a suspected stalker. Logan thinks this will be a basic babysitting job he has no idea the effect Spencer is about to have on him. At nearly twenty Spencer Collins is the most sweetest, innocent, beauty that Logan has set eyes on and his heart is instantly stolen but not all is as it seems. Both Logan and Spencer have darkness in their souls but they balance each other out perfectly, they give each other hope of a future, the love they never thought they would ever get to feel, the trust is instant and unquestionable and they have a flirtatious banter that can't help but make you smile. This story was so well put together, with strong yet slightly damaged characters that together helped to heal each other, moments of passion and then pure tenderness it was a perfect blend that delivered with every word. Another triumph by this author and no doubt another of her stories I will re read again and again like I do so many of her others. Happy Reading.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! This is book is part of the Watchdog Protection, Inc. series why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. Spencer is sweet, shy, an artist, loves interactions with other people (she has been left alone so much), her father has sheltered (overprotective to the extreme) and someone is after her (stalker). Spencer just wants to live a normal life especially after going through a tragedy and coming out on the other side alive, but a caring, overprotective dad makes living harder. Logan sexy as all get out military guy hired to protect Spencer, a little on the grumpy side (well a lot on the grumpy side), alpha through & through, and trying his best to stay professional. But the moment he is around her the chemistry is instant and intense, the magnetic pull can’t/won’t be ignored but what happens when emotional bonds weren’t on the menu, and attachments certainly weren’t supposed to form. But when fate put things/people in place and love rears her beautiful head throwing yet another wrench into the works you get an overprotective man who will do what it takes to keep his girl safe. Who is the stalker, will she finally get some normalcy, and can this grumpy military guy and shy artist find happiness?

A captivating, enjoyable action filled read
This was a wonderful read and I assure you that you will find yourself like me unable to put this book down once you begin reading, it has you totally engrossed. Logans daughter is full on she is so messy, constantly chattering and never keeps still which are all totally opposite to him and yet he finds her soothing and has no idea why?
She has been spoiled and kept almost in a protected cage and is ignorant to many of the dangers in the world and with her being his best friend’s daughter there is no way he will allow any danger to befall her, nor sir not even a scratch!
When she inadvertently attracts a stalker, her father hires the one man he would trust the most important thing in his life with but she is no easy task. Logan and her rub each other the wrong way on more than one occasion but as they spend more time together and get to know each other the hear steps in, good sense begins to leave and then all hell breaks loose.
Read this wonderful book you will be glad that you did and will be left looking forward to the next book in this series.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

Guns and Glitter was such a sweet read, I really loved this one. Logan was a Military friend of Spencer’s dad who called him to ask for protection for Spencer because she has a stalker. Logan is a tattooed, blue eyed, six and a half feet tall protective badass with such a good heart.

He tries really hard to resist the attraction that he feels towards Spencer because she is his friends daughter, so much younger than him and also in a vulnerable situation. True love will not be denied for long and as Logan protects her from her stalker and gives her a safe place to help her with her crippling anxiety, the feelings of attraction Spencer was discovering, grow into an inferno that neither can resist.

This book had smoking hot chemistry, an innocent heroine who gives her man all her firsts, danger, and drama making it a really satisfying read. Spencer really showed some great strength in her time of need and Logan was always supportive and protective without undermining her in any way or making her feel like she was incapable. He lifted her up and helped her spread her wings, it was really beautiful.
Definitely recommend reading this spicy little novella, you will not be disappointed.

I feel a little conflicted... This book has such a cute ending and both the characters are sweet and cute! But I feel like it lacks something.

Spencer is as sweet as a sugar cookie! So innocent and has spent most of her life living in a guilded cage. Having experienced sorrow and tragedy. Until she meets Logan, who is all brooding and muscle. Way older than her and having been through unspeakable horrors serving as a Marine and having a shitty life in general.

But here's the thing, I feel like it was too rushed. The moment they met each other, it's like they were lusting after each other. I would have liked more depth. Logan went from being this stoic and rough character to the moment he laid eyes on her, turning into a pile of goo! I would have liked for it to be a bit drawn out, where we see him slowly melt and fall for her. I guess I'm not one of those people who believe in love at first sight or love after 5 days!

But again, it was cute. I finished this book in less than 2 hours. If you like a short read with a cute and anxious FMC, a muscular and brooding MMC and smut. You'll like this.

Essa história tem várias coisas que eu amo: mocinho ex-militar, guarda-costas, casal "preso" debaixo do mesmo teto e um mocinho grandalhão, com cara de poucos amigos, mas que é um amorzinho com a mocinha, totalmente rendido. Logan e Spencer têm um passado bem sofrido, porém não deixaram que isso os impedissem de viver o amor que descobriram um no outro. Eu amei o fato de que eles se amavam e não hesitaram em confessar e viver isso, mesmo sendo um romance proibido (Logan havia servido com o pai da Spencer há + ou - 20 anos). A história ainda tem um toque de mistério e suspense, já que Spencer tem um stalker e é por isso que Logan está lá com ela - o pai dela estava fora do país e pediu que ele a protegesse até que ele voltasse. Mas tem muito mais por trás dessa história de stalker - e o pai da Spencer pode não estar contando tudo o que sabe sobre o assunto. Emoção é que não vai faltar!

Eu estou apaixonada por essa história e agora quero ler toda a série. Já entrou na minha lista de favoritos. Super-Hiper-Ultra-Mega-Power recomendado!

This is book number 1 in the Watchdog Protection, Inc. series and focuses on Logan and Spencer. Logan is the one of the owners of Watchdog Protection, Inc. and is contacted by an old military friend of his in need of protection for his daughter who has gained a stalker. The second he meets Spencer he immediately falls for her but tries to keep his new feelings locked away. That doesn't last long since the more time the two of them spend together the harder they both fall for each other. They have both experienced so much and were so good for each other. They were able to heal all the broken pieces inside each other and create something beautiful together. I cannot state how much I loved this story and how I love everything this author puts out. I would give this so much more than 5 starts if I was able to! Excellent start to the series and I can't wait to see what the next story brings us!

Spencer was in the car crash that killed her mother and it too multiple surgeries and three years to get back physically. Years later she has a stalker and while her dad is away for business he calls in a military buddy to protect her. Logan and Spencer have instant feelings for each other but both are so broken that they keep it wrapped up tight. Only a little time to start opening up to each other and learning what they are missing in their lives.
The characters are stronger than they think, with intense emotions and trust. The storyline has connections to the accident and Spencer all grown up. Loved the art aspect to the story and how it matched her moods. Plenty of suspense, attacks, birds, hidden cabins and romance. The story kept me wrapped up in it and I could not put it down. Well done.

Logan has a pretty sparse life. Its black and white, with shades of gray. Very little color, very little emotion clutters up his home, his world. When he gets a phone call from an old army buddy to help protect his kid, he jumps into action. That is his purpose and he gets the job done. All that explodes into vivid color when he meets Spencer. She is sweetness and light but she knows darkness too. He is drawn to the beautiful artist but doesn't want to take a chance. When her stalker gets too close, Logan's intention to keep his distance goes right out the window. This was just a beautiful romance. Two people who have been damaged by life find solace and healing in each other's arms. I devoured this one and I couldn't be happier that there are two more books in this series to come! 6 stars for Logan and Spencer!

'Guns & Glitter'vby Carmen Hart is the first book in her new series Watchdog Protection, Inc. and tells the story of Logan, a former Marine, and Spencer, the daughter of a former Marine buddy. Spencer's father, Marcus, hires Logan to protect her from a stalker while he is out of the country. When Logan shows up at Spencer's house they are both struck by an attraction to each other.

Ms. Hart has started her new series with a bang. The chemistry between Spencer and Logan is sizzling but neither thinks the other would want them. This book has suspense, danger, surprises, and steam. I enjoyed this story and recommend it to anyone who likes a bit of suspense with their love story. Can not wait for the next book in the series.

I love a good age gap romance and this book was perfect for me.
I enjoy the authors writing style and how she can bring a book to life on the page.
She wrote the characters well, and they complimented each other.
The plot line and the elements of military and bodyguarding took it to another level, it gave the H that much craved protectiveness mixed in with his alpha side which is want you need at times from your hero.
Going in you thought you knew what to expect but the author manages to keep you hooked until the very end.
Both characters were very likable and their storyline was built up beautifully so that you got experience every moment of their budding relationship.
Honestly this book has it all for me, it had chemistry, heat, romance and that element of danger/drama that was wrapped up in a package that I couldn't wait to devour, and I did happily in one sitting!

Spencer's dad has been over protective since the car accident she was in that killed her mother. She has a stalker, he calls his friend from the Marines who is now in security. Logan has no assignments currently so he is the one that hops on a flight to deal with the stalker. Spencer is light where he is dark, he wants nothing more than to protect her.

Neither has felt this over the top attraction to another individual, this instant chemistry. They both have been in dark places and survived. This is the first in Watchdog Protection, Inc series. This is similar other Cameron Hart books, sweet story with plenty heat and a HEA.

Another fantastic story from Cameron! Logan is a broody, ex-military man who has never known love. He and his buddies own Watchdog Protection which does him just fine... at least until he gets a call from an old friend with a problem. Spencer has been kept from the world. A bird in a cage after the death of her mother in a car accident that almost claimed her too. Now she has a stalker and the only one who can help her is Logan.

Spencer was so sweet and innocent until Logan came into her life. He showed her that their is life outside of her art and how to be an independent woman. Logan was so cut off from feelings until his chickadee brought them out in him. These two steamed up the pages in this quick read from one of my favorite authors. Can't wait for the rest of the guys!

I thought that this was a sweet yet steamy and touching book. Logan and Spencer were fantastic together. I loved the connection and the chemistry between these two. Spencer has been sheltered for most of her but now someone it after her. Logan likes to be alone but he is through for a loop when he first sees Spencer. These two have a little bit of a rough meeting but after 5 days together these two couldn't keep their feelings bottled up. I really enjoyed the steam, tension, drama, suspense, comedy and great HEA that this book had to offer. I can't wait for the rest of the series. I would highly recommend this book and Ms. Cameron as a must read author.

cute happy ever after ending
Logan, ex military, is hired by an old friend to act as bodyguard to his daughter. Spencer, loner & over protected is being stalked. He is brash and brawn, she is soft and gentle. They are quickly attracted to each other and learn that they are both, in their own way, lonely and can provide comfort and love. Logan is serious in both protecting and providing for Spencer and she in turn provides love and peace for him.
Both are likeable characters, and despite the age gap of 18 years the relationship seems to work. This shorter story novella is sweet and simple, but as effective as a longer novel as it progresses and unfolds slowly.

My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.

Logan is ex military turned bodyguard, he and a few friends own their own security company. When an old military buddy calls asking him to help protect his daughter he can’t refuse. Spencer has spent most of her life secluded and sheltered by her dad. After her mother was killed in a car accident her father has been over protective of her safety. When Logan arrives he’s greeted by Spencer and he is awestruck by how beautiful and innocent she is. He's a little gruff with her but she doesn’t mind, she’s equally on awe of him. Their attraction is instant but Logan fights it, he’s older and is their to protect her. When an intruder makes it onto the property he decides to get them out of town and to a safe house. Soon they are not able to ignore their feelings and enjoy sexy times. Something feels off about the whole stalker and her dad so he does some digging and finds out that everything is from a business deal gone wrong. They killed the mom and didn’t know about Spencer survived since the dad protected her and pretty much hid her away. Logan catches the stalker when he attacks, Spencer finds her power and gets him to tell her why he was stalking her. Logan gets help from Chaos MC to get rid of the stalker. Epilogues with them married, with a daughter, then 15 years later with another daughter and them very happy.

Logan is needed as a bodyguard for one of his old military friends. He needs to have him protect his daughter who has a stalker after her. When Spencer opens the door he is stunned by the beautiful woman standing in front of him. There is a stalker after Spencer and when he gets too close to the house Logan takes her to a safe house. There is so much hurt between both of their lives but Logan can see the light shining in Spencer's eyes. There is action, drama, terror, humor, suspense, passionate steam and love. Spencer has found a safe haven in Logan's arms and Logan has found the love he needed to fill his empty spaces in his heart. They were the puzzle pieces needed to heal both of their lives.
