Very literally the most fun I've ever had with a dictionary.

A great follow up to Toki Pona: The Language of Good. Since this is mostly a dictionary, I didn't read it cover to cover, but I did go through and added sitelen pona to most of the toki pona isolated words. It provides clarifications and errata to portions of the first book, which is helpful. I really enjoy that jan Sonja emphases that the words in this dictionary are a compilation of how the language is actually used, rather than a prescriptive list of "correct" words and phrases.

A useful tool and fun accessory for any fan of Toki Pona, or exprimental conlangs in general.

This "dictionary" is not an ordinary dictionary, but rather a collection of suggested translations meant to help those translating or learning Toki Pona. This is simply the best way a dictionary could be made for this language. It avoids standardizing the meaning of set phrases or steeply increasing the vocabulary - both of which would comprimize the language's goal.

A worthwhile book to have!

One is really never “done” using a dictionary!

I’ve been writing daily diary entries in toki pona using the grammar from the first book and many of the word suggestions from this book.

I really appreciate that the book (and toki pona generally) offers a variety of ways to think about one thing.

Def an essential for anyone serious about learning toki pona.
