Good story, but it never grabbed me. One of those books that you kinda just finish. It just wasn't for me.

This book is about a lot of knee-jerk reactions. A couple meets on a website that is created by a friend and she has a one night stand. Regardless if they had both types of birth control she still has a pregnant. They meet up again she tells him that hey I’m pregnant. His knee jerk reaction is full of accusations. We’re going to be at money or not he should’ve took the time to listen. I get that he had a bad past and that a former girlfriend lied about being pregnant. But he should’ve took the time. So it’s about her fears the pregnancy him being a jerk. Him not being a jerk. Eventually they agree to continue this adventure without attorneys. But the rest of the story you’re gonna have to read the form your own opinion about the behaviors of both of them hormonal or just… just.
I have not read the other books in the series so I really don’t know how the other ones have faired out. But it looks like I’m gonna have to at least read another one.. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

An anonymous one-night stand leads to much more! Trent & Finley meet via a dating app, neither using their real names, for a steamy one-night stand. Trent is the local ‘golden boy’ who returns to his small hometown under the radar from time to time. I loved the sudden heat that erupts between them, especially as neither of them knows the other’s true identity. Fast forward a few weeks, and Finley has realised she has been left with a long-term ‘reminder’ of their assignation. Using the app she arranges another meeting with Trent. The reader is treated to the less attractive side of Trent’s character (caused by being ‘used’ in the past by a woman) when he doesn’t believe Finley’s even pregnant, let alone that the baby is his. I enjoyed the ebb and flow of their relationship and the pitfalls along the way to their HEA are well-written, as are the other characters in the story. Really good romance.

This is book nine in The Book Boyfriend's Wanted Series and it is Finley and Trent's story and it is definitely a must read. Finley had been working so hard and decided that she needed a night out only to have a one night stand and end up pregnant and now she needed to find Trent so that she could tell him as it is the right thing to do but things don't always go as planned. I really enjoyed reading this book and I had to keep turning the pages to find out what would happen next between them and it was such an engaging storyline and I loved the outcome. I have read many books by Mary E Thompson who is an amazing author and writer and I recommend that you read this book and others by her and you will definitely not be disappointed.

I like stories with some meat on their bones (Not because she was curvy). This is not a quick romance to love. Two people meet just for sex with no names included. The sex is so good that they decide to meet again. Second time around not so good and not because they didn’t have sex. Finley has decided to try something new in the absence of dating, and Trent just wants to know the joy of just being accepted for himself and not for his bank account. Their one time with all the precautions in the world goes wrong and now the fall out begins. Trust is a big issue along with past hurts. This is not a quick lite read and that’s okay. You get to move into the world of the main characters, their family and friends as they deal with life. Enjoyable to read.

Mary E. Thompson is a new author to me, and this is the 1st book in this series that I am reading. I enjoyed reading about Trent and Finley.

Finley is running a book store geared toward women in MacKellar Cove. Finally things are falling into place for her. So she deserves a night out on the time. She has been chatting with Trent online and neither know the other. The two meet at a local bar and Hudson the bartender recognizes Trent. Trent and Finley are instantly attracted to each other. The two have an awesome one night stand. Finley finds out the she is pregnant and she informs Trent and he not to happy to say the least and words are said.

Can Trent redeem himself and get back into Finley’s good graces, will Finley have to raise her child alone, is there an HEA in store for them?

Wow, what can I say other than this was such an emotional journey for me to read. I laughed and cried over the personal struggles that Finley and Trent had to go through before they finally made it through the finish line in their journey. Finley had so much support from her family and friends, while Trent had X and McJenna to help him. I am so in love with MacKellar Cove and the group of friends who live there. This is the first book in the series I have read by this author and now I need to read the previous books. But you don’t need to do that to get into the book, it’s enjoyable as a stand alone.

Finley runs a bookshop in MacKellar Cove, aimed at women. She's been signed up with Ressa's new app. She's waiting to meet the person she's been chatting with online. She's immediately attracted to him, as he is to her, she doesn't recognise him but the bartender, Hudson, knows him.
Months later she realises that she's pregnant, and arranges to meet him again to tell him, but he's wealthy and thinks that she's trying to get money out of him.
Can he redeem himself? Finley won't have anything to do with him.

I love this series so much! I have laughed and cried right along with the residents of the town. This is by far my favorite. I have loved Finley from the very beginning. This was wonderful and heart warming. Even if I wanted to kick Trent a few times at the beginning.
The found family dynamics and friendships are pure magic. The love is pure and the love scenes are scorching.
One of the best books I have read! And trust me, I read a lot!

Trent and Finley have one night together that results in a consequence that had not for seen.
But when Trent learns of their predicament. He humiliates and shames Finley in front of the town.

Having her friends helps Finley as scared as she knows she is better off without him.

But Trent knows he messed up badly. Now he will try and do what he can to make things right. Whilst trying put to rest his own demons

This was such a wonderful book! For a while, I didn’t think that Finley and Trent were going to get their HEA, but they eventually do! Trent was a big jerk to Finley. He was so lucky that she forgave him.
Finley unwillingly fell in love with Trent after their accidental pregnancy. Trent tried to buy Finley’s affection because he really did not know any other way. They had some definite challenges that they did not always handle well, but they somehow made it work.

This story is about Finley and Trent. They meet via a dating app and share a very sexy night. She ends up pregnant but does not know the real name of the man she spent the night with. When she did find out who he was she realizes he is wealthy. He thinks she is after a meal ticket. This is an interesting story with a bumpy road for Finley and Trent. I love the witty banter in this story as well as the characters. This one had me laughing and wanting to cry too.

her.

Finley has worked hard and has decided to let loose for one night in which they used fake names. She meets up with Trent in a dating app that leads to more than they bargained for. Will she be able to find him to let him know what had happened? What will he do? Great story with intriguing characters.

There were points in this where I hated both Hudson and Trent. Overall I liked the growth and progression of everybody, especially Anna. I hadn't read any of the series before but will do now; one to understand mentioned previous dynamics and secondly for Xavier.

Hard to Trust

Trent found it hard to trust that people liked him for himself instead of his money. When matched with Finley on the Book Boyfriends app there was instant attraction between them. But when an event occurred he doubted she was sincere. When he realized how amazing she truly was he had to find a way to undo the hurt he had caused her.
