A new romance. A sinister threat. The past could decimate their future.

We’ve woken a sleeping giant.
One with a quick trigger finger and a taste for blood.
And he’s already spilled enough from the Dark Pharaohs.
The men we’ve lost have left rage in my veins and a hole in my heart.

Somehow, Fallon seems to fill that void and give me solace despite the turmoil swirling around me.
I can find peace, if only for a few hours in her arms.

But the dark enemy hunting us won’t just disappear and let us live our lives.
We need to strike before he can again.
It won’t be easy.

More shots will be fired and blood will flow like a river.
I just hope it’s his and not ours…

Volt and Fallon

Blake/Volt is a newer member of the Dark Pharaoh’s MC and he has a good head on his shoulders. The Dark Pharaohs have been through a lot lately with the Zavala Cartel and just when they got rid of one Zavala another shows up wanting the MC to disband. That was the message that Volt was to take back to his club after being next to his club Prez who was just shot right next to him.

Fallon is a bartender and an artist who is trying to make it on her own after her parents were killed. When Blake walks into her bar and stands up for her things for them take off from there. Just as things are heating up for the club yet again Fallon has to decide if she is willing to risk her heart to a man that may leave her alone in grief yet again. Its such a dangerous life he leads.

I have loved the Dark Pharaoh’s MC series and Volt’s story was no different. I always look forward for more to come in this series.

VOLT is the fifth instalment in Ivy Black’s contemporary, adult DARK PHARAOHS MC erotic, MC romance series focusing on the members of the Dark Pharaohs MC. This is former US Corp soldier, twenty-six year old, Blake ‘Volt’ Donaldson, and twenty-four year old, artist/bartender Fallon Peters’ story line. VOLT can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommend reading the series in order or at the very least book four NITRO, as the events of Volt are as of a direct result of the events in Nitro.

WARNING: Due to the graphic nature and violence of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

NOTE: If you have not read book four NITRO, there may be spoilers in my review.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Volt and Fallon) VOLT follows in the aftermath of an attack and murders of several members of the Dark Pharaoh’s MC, an attack in retaliation for the murder of Miguel Zavala, the brother of Emiliano Zavala, the head of the Mexican Cartel. With only thirty days warning, the Dark Pharaohs must either back down or mount an offensive in an effort to thwart the destruction that is heading their way. Mourning the loss of his ‘brothers’ Volt finds himself face to face with his future, bartender Fallon Peters, a woman who stirs something deep within our story line hero. But as the members of the Dark Pharaoh’s remain targets of the Mexican Cartel, Volt, along with his brothers, devise a plan to take down Zavala, but in doing so, must consider the ramifications against their own families and friends. As most of the MC are former members of the military, it doesn’t take long to put a plan into motion that rivals many war time attacks. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Blake and Fallon, and the potential fall -out as the MC remains a target of the Mexican Cartel, and Fallon struggles with the possibility of losing the man with whom she is falling in love.

The relationship between Volt (Blake) and Fallon is one of immediate attraction but Volt struggles in the aftermath of the death of his friends. Upon learning the truth about Blake’s involvement with the Dark Pharaoh’s MC, our heroine battles between head and heart knowing to fall in love could mean losing in move ways than one. The $ex scenes are passionate, erotic and intense.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters including MC president Prophet, VP Doc, Nitro, prospect Adam; Fallon’s BFF Bree, and co-workers Mary and Jack. The requisite evil has many faces

VOLT is a story of loss and grief, retaliation and revenge, relationships, friendships and love. The premise is intriguing and shocking; the romance is seductive and steamy; the characters are dynamic, charismatic and lively.

Volt is the fifth book in Ivy Black’s Dark Pharaohs MC series. It is a romantic suspense MC story filled with romance, passion and danger. It is written in first person from the point of view of the hero, Blake “Volt” Donaldson and heroine, Fallon Peters.

A new enemy connected to an old rival is hunting the Dark Pharaohs MC and its members are surrounded by violence, death and destruction. But for Volt, Fallon is a shining light of hope in the darkness. Can friendship, family, love and trust be enough for a happily ever after against a dark and dangerous enemy? Read it and find out!

Each book in the series is a standalone with a guaranteed happily ever after for the couple, though it is recommended to read the series in order for maximum enjoyment and a deeper understanding of the Dark Pharaohs MC life.

With the loss of their President the Dark pharaohs are all messed up and trying to make sense of the world, now that their leader is gone.
Volt is the only one left alive and thats to send a message to the club, leave voluntarily alive or leave in a body bag.
They fight back the way they were trained by the Military and does what they do best win.
Volt meets Fallon when he needs space from the crap show his life has become. They have an instant connection but take it slow and easy.
They build their relationship up ,even when Fallon is scared to death that she is getting in over her head.
Together they keep each other from imploding and go about finding their footing in this world that they are in and finding the love that they deserve.

After the devastation of loss and chaos to the Dark Pharaohs by the cartel. Volt and the reminder of the club finds themselves having to plan the take-down of Zavala. But at what cost? Fallon is a bartender and the chemestry between her and Volt is electric but knowing the danger the MC is in can she really see a future for them? This is book 5 in the series that just keeps getting better! Best to be read within the series. Well written with a great story line of love and loss and character you cant help but fall for

Volt, Blake, is the newest member of the Dark Pharaohs MC and is left alive by the Zavala cartel to deliver a message. Fallon is a struggling artist, bartending at night to make ends meet. This book starts with a bang (literally) and then stalled a bit in the middle. It picks up with the fighting between the MC and the cartel towards the end. Fallon struggles with the dark side of MC life and isn't sure that she can get past these things. Lots of action in the end and some steam keep the reader engaged.

WTH?.......UGGH.... what kind of ending was that?????... Not the one I was looking for.... okay I was looking for what happened to happen but NOT before we found out what happened to the villain....the bad guy.... you know what the last couple of books were about. He didn't seem to be the type to give up. He might have gotten his ass handed to him in a lot of different ways and lost money but not give up.

The only thing here that might be a spoiler is that I was upset by how it ended and not the rest of it... that's easy to figure out in the last couple of books.

Hopefully he will show up in the series following this one.

Volt is one of those books that has triggers but if you can get through that you will enjoy this story! I know I did and with it being a continuation from the previous book with a continuing story line that follows in this book, makes it easier to get through it and play catch up with not much effort. Volt and Fallons chemistry is burning from a distance, white light you can physically see in the words Miss Black used. It was visual and fulfilling. A very interestingly good addition to this series!

Volt is feeling guilty for being alive after his friends, brother, and Pres were killed before his eyes. Volt took Prophets death the hardest. Breeding to get away for a bit he meets Fallon and finds she's easy for him to talk to. These two hit it off and even though she's scared she gives it a go with him. This book pulled at my heart strings, it's action packed and I couldn't be happier that these two found each other.

Volt is book #5 in the Dark Pharaohs MC series. This is Volt and Fallon’s love story. It’s a passionate, steamy page turner. Their attraction is immediate, but it takes Volt is reluctant to commit due to issues from his past that he’s struggling with. This is a story of loss, grief and emotion. Although not necessary, you might want to read the previous book in the series, Nitro, as Volt’s story follows the same thread. I’m really enjoying this series. *this honest review is based on a complimentary copy from the author via Booksprout*

Volt has seen his brother's killed and now they have to make sure that this is not the end of their club. They must go to war again against a smart criminal. He meets Fallon and realizes that she is what he needs to bring the joy back into his life. He must convince her that what he is doing maybe risky but they will be better because of it.

Volt and Fallon are good for each other though it takes them a while to figure that out. A great story, Volt is one of the younger members of the MC but has a great tactical mind. He doubts his own leadership skills but I think he would make a great addition to Leadership, especially since the threat has still not been neutralised. I hope there will be a follow up book.

Wonderful book

I enjoyed all five books in this series. I am a little disappointed in the ending. I won’t spoil it for anyone else by saying why except that I would have been satisfied with an ending that gave more closure to the series.

This is a good read. A lot of romance between Fallon and Volt, a ton of action, suspense and danger too. An MC read with a difference.
