A woman on the run. A cartel set on retaliation. An MC in the crosshairs.
Winning the battle against the cartel doesn’t mean the threat is gone. We’re always watching our backs, waiting. Enjoying the peace while we have it.
Now a full-patch member, I’m riding high. Things in my life have finally lined up perfectly. Until something comes along and knocks them down… Ashley.
After what she’s been through, I should stay away. The life I have with the Dark Pharaohs is nowhere for a young single mother. Especially after what she’s already been through.
But when her terrifying past finds her and ours finds us… Escaping the fallout could be harder than keeping her out of my heart.
Domino is one that I highly recommend! Yes it is book 2 in the Dark Pharaohs MC. It packs a punch right from the first words written! Yes it is a standalone but it is better enjoyed with reading from the first in the series! Ok through all the issues you are going to wade through you better buckle up and grab a snack because you will be in it for the long haul! Miss Black has delivered a tragically beautiful story and one that you will want on your shelf. This is Max and Ashleys story and it will keep you on the edge! Get Miss Blacks new series MC! you just might find your next book boyfriend! I sure did!

Domino is finally a patched in member of the Dark Pharaohs MC but with that comes the danger with enemies. The club just went a round with the drug cartel that is trying to take over their town and are now waiting for retaliation.
Ashley is running from her past with an abusive ex and its her friends who help her escape with her son. Will she ever truly be safe?
Even though sparks fly with Domino and Ashley he can’t see where it would be good for this young mother to be attached to the MC especially when they are battling a cartel. Will the heart win out or will the cartel and Ashley’s past be too much?
I really enjoyed this second book of the Dark Pharaohs MC. This is Max book. We met him in the last one when he was a prospect and now he has his road name of Domino.
He like most of the men in the club are past military. He was a sniper while in and is carrying a big load on his shoulders.
Ashley was born and raised in a small town in Georgia. Her high school boyfriend was on track for the NFL until he was injured and had a fusion on his back. Now he is just an angry pill popper.
When everyone of them and with what happened in the last book all come together in the north California small town all kinds of action and adventure come together. I'm ready to start the next book.
Action, drama, danger, suspense, violence, and steam.... this story had me excited in many ways. The story was great and the characters interesting! Can't wait for next book!
3.75 stars--DOMINO is the second instalment in Ivy Black’s contemporary, adult. DARK PHARAOHS MC erotic, MC romance series. This is former US Marine sniper/MC member twenty six year old Max ‘ Domino’ Wise, and single mother/psychologist Ashley’s story line. DOMINO can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommend reading the series in order for back story as there is an ongoing premise throughout.
WARNING: Due to the nature of the storyline premise , there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Ashley and Domino) following several pathways DOMINO focuses on the building romance and relationship between single mother Ashley, and former US Marine/ Dark Pharaohs’ MC member Max ‘Domino’ Wise, and the prelude to war between the Dark Pharaohs MC and the Mexican Cartel. Ashley, along with her young son Cole, are on the run from an abusive relationship, finding solace in Blue Rock Bay, at the home of her childhood friend Missy. Meeting Dark Pharaohs’ MC member Max ‘Domino’ Wise pushes all of Ashley’s buttons in the wake of her need to protect her son but Ashley’s security is short lived when her past demands her return. Meanwhile, the Mexican Cartel continues to take aim at the small town of Blue Rock Bay, and the Dark Pharaohs find themselves in the direct line of fire. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Max and Ashley, and the potential fall-out as Ashley’s past returns, and Max is caught in the crossfire.
The relationship between Max and Ashley is one of immediate attraction but Ashley has just come off of an abusive relationships, and generic rumours and stories about MCs adds fuel to Ashley’s burning need to protect herself and her young son Cole. Max is persistent in his pursuit of our story line heroine, and Ashley quickly succumbs to Max’s seduction and his need to protect the woman with whom he is falling in love. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense.
Once again, we are reintroduced to the members of the Dark Pharaoh’s MC: President Prophet, Poe, Cosmo, Trig (Sargeant at Arms) ,Cueball (Treasurer), Doc (VP), and Monk as well as Ashley’s friends Missy and Mark, and her new boss at the Golden Gate Diner Keith. The requisite evil has many faces including Ashley’s ex boyfriend Ryan.
DOMINO is a story of abuse, betrayal, power and control. The premise is gritty and raw; the romance is seductive; the characters are energetic and dynamic.
Domino is the second book in Ivy Black’s Dark Pharaohs MC series. I really enjoyed this romantic suspense MC story filled with passion and danger. Domino and Ashley had great chemistry together and I loved the back and forward banter between them. It was written in first person from the perspective of both the hero and heroine which allows the reader to development a better understanding of the characters and their issues.
All the books in the Dark Pharaohs MC series can be read as a standalone, but a better understanding and appreciation for the overall storyline is achieved when read in order. I can’t wait for the next book to see what happens next in the Dark Pharaohs MC.

The Dark Pharaohs MC series by Ivy Black continues with book two. This is Domino and Ashley’s story. Domino is a newly patched member of the Dark Pharaohs MC. Ashley is a single mother on the run from her abusive husband. She is afraid to trust anyone new. Domino and Ashley are a perfect match for each other. As they fall for one another can Ashley trust Domino to help her when her troubled ex comes after her? This story has the danger, action, and passion that you expect from a MC series. Need to read the next book soon. Recommend to anyone that enjoys a great MC story.

Now a full patched member Domino and the brothers of the Dark Pharaohs are ruing to settle after the battle with the cartel but they are always on high alert for retaliation. When Domio and Ashley meet sparks fly but he cant drag a single mother into the mix until he learns her past is coming for her too. Well written book 2 in the series but can work standalone. Filled with suspense desires action and more! A great addition to the series.

They were so annoying and I’m surprised there wasn’t a pregnancy surprise because they never used protection or talked about birth control or getting tested which is irresponsible and just bleh. They laughed at everything and kept making comments about how the other person was so funny and literally nothing funny happened. I probably won’t continue with the series because I don’t really care about the overarching plot.

This is the second book in this new and gritty series. The Pharaohs are fighting to survive anyway that they can, and along the way they all seem to find their old ladies, but always when they need help and protection. The brothers always put the club first, but slowly learn that love always comes first even with family.
This is the second book in this series and was just as good as the first one. Ashley fled to the other side of the country with her son, she meets Dom. They are both strong people however together they are even better.

I really enjoyed this book! The storyline was well developed, the characters were complex and well developed and the story world was detailed. The writing drew me in, and I felt immersed in the story! I always look forward to more books by this author and would recommend this book!
Ashley has finally escaped from her abusive ex and now her and her son are happy. She starts dating Domino but with everything going on with the club, everyone is at risk. Now her ex has found her and she needs Dominic to save her and her son.
Domino and Ashley had great chemistry together and I loved the back and forward banter between them. I loved that he told her what the mc does instead of keeping her in the dark. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Ok read in set so not going to read again but from what I do remember it’s a good read about a bunch of ex soldiers that belong to a MC in Blue Rock Bay,California. So enjoy the read!!
