For those of you who enjoy erotic instalove novellas then you would definitely be satisfied. For me, I prefer a storyline that plays out without a man coming in his pants. I feel bad for signing up for this ARC because I didn't love this as much as I hoped.

Roman has been obsessed and sorta stalking a girl deep in the forest since he saw her when he was walking, he's confused why a sweet person is deep in the woods with a man. And that man isn't him as Genevieve does her daily chores she feels someone watching her and she does something about it.. a free show ;) and that brings out Roman inner beast.

But danger is close by when Gene uncle becomes more pervy and almost SA her but good thing Roman was close by now hes taking his woman away from that abuse and showing her what is like to have a daddy take care of her. And the daddyness was new to both of them and I love how they were. They didn't shy away from those kinks. I do wish this baby was longer.. because I wanted more Stalker Roman 🤣

Oh, what a naughty little treat this was! I wasn't sure what to expect since this is the first I've read by this author but I was pleasantly surprised. So if you're looking for a quickie read with insta-love, Daddy/soft Dom vibes, and a dirty talking stalker hero then this is the one you need to pick up! It's fast-paced and heavy on the sexy times! I loved the wild untamed hero and the innocent heroine that had been raised basically in seclusion in a cabin in the woods. There's a tiny bit of drama and a surprise to keep things interesting! I'll definitely be reading more of this author.

I love how this novella does not mess around. The two main characters Genevieve aka Evie and Roman are fire to read about. Evie is very naive to the world around her as she has lived a very secluded life. Roman has sought out a quieter life and is drawn to Evie when he discovers her.

These two eventually meet and it’s insta-love and insta-need. These two won’t be able to stay away from one another.

I love the kink factor to this book. I love that these two jump fully in with one another. If you want a steamy, fast paced read with some kink to it, then this is the novella for you!

This book is a dark, forbidden romance, is an age gap Insta love romance read that is a page tuner and a quick read that once your in you really want to see what happens next in this stalker book.

Roman is a guy that has become sort of obsessed with Genevieve ever since he seen her and knows for certain that she should be with him no matter what, kind of like they are meant to be and she was sent to him. He has a lot of questions about her and who she is, why is she here, especially in the woods, but one thing is for sure he wants her.
Genevieve is quite a loner and is isolated and has a lot going on, until one day she feels like someone is watching her and everything she does. When she sees Roman things seem to be changing. Roman can show her another way and away from all that her life is now, to show her that someone does care and she is worthy of love.


I loved reading this book and didn't know what was going to happen throughout and kept me gripped to the very end. These two characters were meant to be together and this author has brought them both to life fantastically.
I loved how this author has written these characters and the connection they have and the chemistry that they both have together. This book has some kinky, with steamy scenes that will leave you hot. I enjoyed this Insta love book and if you love quick and steamy romances you will love this book.

First off, that cover! It has all the vibes of a hot, sexy story! I love it! Watching Her started out strong with the lurking eyes in the woods watching Genevieve. Oooh, there's nothing better than a stalker to get the pulse going...

We see one stalker episode first-hand and then the story moves on at warp speed to the finish, skipping some major events that I feel warranted some more details to really bring the story to life. I struggled with Genevieve's naivety and cluelessness at times only to have her knowledgeable in the next scene and trusting a complete stranger-no questions asked. Sometimes it felt like she was playing innocent with Roman. (That shower scene though, yummm!) I understand that this was a short story, and shorts are harder to come full circle in such a short amount of words, but this could have been sooooo much more.

If you're a fan of insta-love with stalker and "daddy" vibes, wrapped up in a short story, you will love this!

So this is Josephine Anderson book debut and it was pretty good. We got dark, mysterious, forbidden, age-gap and daddy elements all in this book. It is fast paced and hot as all get out as well. So when you read this book, get ready to jump into the story. You will meet Roman and Evie. Now these was a bit different because it all happens in a remote area with nobody around for miles. So when Roman is trekking through the forest he comes across Evie. One look and an obsession was formed. Evie has noticed a change in her surroundings and has a feeling someone is watching or she is just crazy. We learn a lot about both of these characters. Both are not happy memories but no worry they will make new ones. Let me just say that new memories will be needed. It gets intense and we do find out what really happened when Evie was young. We also get a happily ever after. Overall this is a great story. I cannot wait to read more from Josephine.

I thought this was a pretty good read. I'm a big forbidden romance junkie and this book checks that box well with its stalker-ish vibes and a bit of Daddy Dom kink. I found the main characters easy to like and root for. Roman and Genevieve had great chemistry and they really bring the sparks and heat. They are also very sweet together in a intense, instalove kind of way. The story is fast-paced and offers a few twists along the way and some solid tension and drama. As a whole, I enjoyed it but honestly, I would have loved to dive deeper into Roman's character and backstory. Although things are implied, the book just never really goes there and while it isn't essential because you can just draw your own conclusions from the context clues in the story, I couldn't help feeling unsatisfied and that sadly he was really shortchanged in the process. This is my independent, impartial review.

Was a cute novella. Both Roman and Genevieve live deep in the woods. Her with her nasty uncle and him alone. She does not know about him at first. He stumbles upon her and her home in the woods one day and there is something about her. He is entranced and keeps returning to get a glimpse of her. She does realize there is someone out there watching eventually, but instead of freaking her out, it calms her. I loved the story and the quick back and forth of the chapters. I love a good HEA and even more so I enjoy a lot story without the angst once in a while. "Josephine" did a good job in providing us with a cute love story. I breezed through it in less than a couple of hours. I didn't want to stop til I was done. Thank you for a story that entertained and delighted me.

The writing is pretty bad, but the story itself wasn’t horrible. Definitely needs improvement. But I did love a loner obsessed hero who decides he’ll have the heroine once he meets her. I should mention that I did not like the way a sexual assault scene was handled. This is a very triggering topic and the author should’ve made sure it was handled correctly, and it wasn’t. The hero gets to the heroine while her assailant is assaulting her and after this the heroine casually continues to be physical with the hero. They do this while the guy who the hero had to beat up is passed out. That whole ordeal was very offensive to me. The author shouldn’t have written that at all. I hope they learn to have more compassion in their future books.

The story and the plot had great potential but it just didn't quite hit for me. Firstly, it felt as if I was dropping into the story half way through. I definitely needed much more of a build up, more stalking, longing from afar. The fact they pledge their love the very first time they meet and married after a month is a little much. Everything within the plot is so rushed, not properly explored or worked through and it just made it hard to take it seriously.

As well as this, Genevieve's innocent and naivety was written in a way that made her seem much younger than she is (18y) and the infantile language she used coupled with the Daddy kink had this bordering on icky for me at times. Also, am I supposed to believe she knew what a Marquis cut diamond was but didn't know what her clit was called???

With some work, this has potential but in it's current form it fell short for me. Had it been longer I would have DNFd.

Genevieve and Roman's journey had my full attention from start to finish! I so enjoyed getting into their minds and feeling so many things with both of these characters!

With Watching Her, Ms.Andersen has created such a good read you'll want to finish in one sitting!

I will admit, the idea of a book that has a stalker feel was not on the top of my list. But this book changed my opinion very quickly. I loved Genevieve and Roman's story sooooooo much! It is very obvious from the beginning that Genevieve has been hidden away for some reason, whether it is for a good reason or bad. Roman made the decision to leave civilization behind for the most part. The dynamic between these 2 characters is fantastic and I really hope that it may be edited in the future to be longer so we can get more Genevieve and Roman.
